“We had booked Veda for our daughter's wedding welcome dinner on 5/3/24. The whole process from the time we contacted them till we had our function was smooth. They were very accommodating to our requirements and went beyond our expectations. If you are looking to have a large gathering I will definitely recommend doing a buyout. We decided on the menu and then we were guests at our own dinner. It is full service. The ambience was good and our guests enjoyed both the food and their awesome selection of cocktails. Gaurav Bhardwaj and Brazil provided excellent service. Did I mention Food? Very Good and Flavorful. We are from Delhi and big foodies, and I must tell you that they superseded our expectations. The décor is very pleasant and we didn't need to do anything additional They provided us two stations for our henna ladies. Our function was a big hit. Check them out for your next baby shower, engagement, birthday function!!!!!“

“Delicious Indian cuisine. I’ve been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant since I moved to the Philly area about 6 months ago, and I mean really struggling. Out of all of the places I’ve tried, Srinagar takes the cake!!! The Chicken Tikka Masala is incredible and is the perfect spice level for a medium. I did only get delivery via a third party service, but would certainly consider eating in next time. Will be eating here again!!!“

“I love this place for a late night meal. Most places in Philly close a little on the earlier side, and as a night owl, it can be hard to find food in general, let alone vegan food. My go-to dish is the dal tadka, which can be made vegan by request. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients in their dishes. The food is also great value for the price. The servings are deceptively large and I often get at least two meals out of my dish. The main drawback is that their rice isn't vegan.“

“Some of the best Indian food in the world (outside of India) is located in the United Kingdom and in this Kingsessing restaurant. Usually, Indian food found in the US tends to be served in a very thick, heavy sauce. This place took me back to the UK joints I loved in 2019 and 2024. The chicken curry sauce was a perfect blend of spices and broth which meshed nicely with the basmati rice and naan. This is my first time eating their food but will certainly not be my last. EXCELLENT JOB!!

“Saffron offers excellent lunch menu deals. For $10-12, you get a lunch portion meal (Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Saag, etc.) with rice, salad, and a daily accompaniment. Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious, but a little sweet for me. The Lamb Saag was also a little fatty, but very flavorful. Granted this was a takeout order during COVID. We typically prefer dining in to review a restaurant.“

“Today, July 4, was my first time dining in at Ekta. My older parents and I were looking for a place to eat (and having a tough time finding one!); finally we saw that Ekta was open, though we then discovered that it was due to close in 40 minutes. I am deeply grateful to our server, Owen, for never making us feel like we were inconveniencing the staff by arriving so close to closing, and for going out of his way to help my mom (who has limited mobility) to navigate the steps both when we arrived and when we left. He situated us at a table just next to the door, which was even more helpful. As for the food itself, my dad was delighted with his garlic kabob, and I really enjoyed the Chandrakala (first time I'd ever encountered these dried-fruit-and-coconut dumplings) and our bread selections (Lachha Paratha and Ekta Naan, the latter kind of an adaptation of the Peshawari Naan concept but with black sesame seeds included). My mom and I both guzzled our delicious lassis (mango and pomegranate). Though toned down at our request, the Alu Gobi was still a bit spicy for me, but tasty nonetheless.“

“Got a large catering order from Spicy Marsala for an event, Shiblu was very accommodating and prepared a great variety of food for the event which everyone loved! Their Samosa's in particular are excellent and their sauces for the samosas, naan and tikka marsala are amazing, looking forward to trying more items on their menu!

“We love Shere-E-Punjab! We order out or sit in often. Their aloo tiki chat is perhaps my favorite dish from any restaurant. All of their food is always so fresh and delicious. We went for dining under the stars last night and got the aloo tiki chat (always!), aloo naan, chilly chicken chefs special, and malai kofta. It was as delicious as always, they never disappoint! “My husband and I have been ordering delivery and takeout from Curry Leaf for a couple months now. We both agree it is the best Indian restaurant we've had the pleasure of regularly ordering from, after having other regular spots in Boston, NYC, and Philadelphia. The Hyderabadi Biryani is to die for, and the Tikka Masala is also fantastic -- ask for extra spicy! I find the goat is particularly outstanding, flavorful and always tender.

First, the owners of the truck are particularly friendly and generous to people in this area. Next, I absolutely love their chili chicken over rice. It is extremely flavorful and quite spicy. It's a refreshing and lighter alternative to the heavier foods served by trucks around this area. I can't recommend this dish enough. I also enjoy the $1 naan. “Nice quaint place to eat in or take out. We had the place to ourselves at 5pm on a Tuesday but there was a steady flow of ppl picking up orders. Acknowledged immediately upon entering. Prices and serving portions were reasonable along with service and wait time. Had the butter chicken with classic naan. My friend frequents this location and others so opted for the chicken tikka masala with the garlic naan. No complaints with this being my first visit to this location.“
