“I stopped in last night, there were two young ladies behind the bar that didn't acknowledge my presence. But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! Even after he got my drink, the young ladies behind the bar never made eye contact with me. Hard to believe you can go to a place in East Liberty and be treated as if you are invisible.“

“Came after they reopened. Food was pretty good but most dishes didn’t impress us at all. We had the meatball (which feels like a randomly put together quick meal at home), the cod cheek (overcooked imo), the black bass (good but not memorable). Our favorite is the turnip. Dessert was just okay as well. For most dishes I feel like they could use more thought in putting them together.

“My husband has been buying me bread from Loafers for years! My brother in law told me about it cause they worked out in Wexford and Cranberry! I can't thank him enough.Wish they would come to New Castle! we d love it! I love the Honey Wheat bread My favorite is Cinnamon Swirl,and the Chalah! Love their special holiday cakes one I loved was Lemon poppyseed! Wish they d bring it back.The cinnamon rolls and fruit breads and the Scones like triple chocolate chip abd raspberry,blackberry to name a few are simply delicious! Love you guys!! “Went for the Museum of Art and then continued to walk around the attractive grounds. Seems to be a well endowed university with two outstanding museums and a world renowned reputation. Campus itself is easy to navigate, with parking next to the art museum. We enjoyed our visit.“

“We visited during a Steelers game and were welcomed with friendliness and the feel of family. The drinks are generous. The food is readily available. Great place to host a party or family gathering. Cash only. Well, at least you know you're not leaving with an open tab. Great energy!

“This is just a cafe, but they had a good selection of food. Hot soup was available, but we opted for sandwiches and salad which were very fresh and plenty enough for us to enjoy for lunch! I opted for a peanut butter and jelly, and I must say I am not a fan of marmalade as the jelly; I was hoping for the more traditional grape or strawberry. I do think they should label what kind of jelly is in the sandwich, but the bread was very fresh, thick, and tasty - more like a home baked bread than store-bought loaf. Prices were reasonable for a city museum, and the staff was super friendly and nice. The seating in the lobby of the museum was abundant the day we were there; it was a pleasant place to have lunch before touring the museum. It was also clean! I don't think I'd make a special trip here just for lunch, but it's a great option if you are going to be visiting the Museum.“

“This coffee shop is a an outcropping of Point State Park University. I like it because it usually has a less crowded atmosphere than Starbucks. Mostly college kids when its open. The coronavirus has taken its toll. but all in all still a decent place to get a cup of coffee, sushi, pita wraps, sandwiches, fruit cups, candy, chips and acetera.“

“The River View Cafe is located in the basement of the Kamin Science Center. They offer lunch type foods, snacks and drinks. Their coffee was very good. We fed the kids some French fries that were very fresh and tasty. Prices went up with the name change to the science center.“
