“Senza has a really cute and cozy vibe inside. We started with the pull-apart bread, chickpea panisse, and pepperoni arancini, and honestly, all of them were phenomenal. For entrees, the sourdough cavatelli was really amazing. We also got the smoked lamb, which was just okay for me—it could have been a bit more tender, and it definitely needed more of the yogurt sauce. But overall, it was an amazing meal. Definitely a five out of five.“

She was accommodating and provided suggestions on what would be best for the size of crowd and type of event. The most recent catering order was this past weekend - the grazing charcuterie board that she prepared for us was beautiful and delicious! Everyone in attendance was asking who the caterer was. “Went in for espresso and found a bakery that was worth the wait. I got a cortado with oat milk. It was very good. We bought a couple sandwiches, a baguette, a few baked treats, and a chocolate pecan pie. We may have gone a bit overboard but it was definitely worth it. The baguette had a crispy crust and was soft, airy, and chewy on the inside, perfect. The croissants were flaky and just delicious. Highly recommended.“

But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! Even after he got my drink, the young ladies behind the bar never made eye contact with me. Hard to believe you can go to a place in East Liberty and be treated as if you are invisible.“

Afters Cafe came in clutch when I needed a pick me up in the evening. A quick Google search brought me here and I couldn't have been happier. Great service, delicious drinks, especially their Afters flavor? So good.
