“THANK YOU! I always get pizza delivered, but accidentally hit pick-up last week. I called wondering where my pizza was, only to find out my mistake. I asked if I could switch to delivery and they said yes, it would probably be about 30 minutes…no problem. It was at my door in less than 10 minutes! Great customer service even though I was the one that made a mistake.“

“Had high expectations for this place but the food just wasn’t that great :/ I ate solo and even tried to fit in 3 dishes but neither of them really hit. Pierogi were nicely crisped on the outside but the romesco-like sauce on the bottom made the dish more on the acidic side, especially since there was already pickled relish on top, and I found myself wishing for more fat or sweetness. I actually used ricotta that came with bread and it tasted much better with it. Lobster roll filling was excellent but I wished they’d actually toasted the bread on the inside and not on the outside. Eating soft white bread of which there was a lot just didn’t feel great. Finally, the skate had good flavor and shishitos were a cute touch but the fish was severely undersalted (it’s a thick fillet) and the sauce on the bottom was, again, mostly acidic and didn’t help much.

“APTEKA is AMAAAAAAZING! It was my first time here. We got there right at 5 pm, and there was a line already (though it went fast!) Menus were handed out while in line by a very friendly and gracious staff member. You order and pay once you enter the building and before sitting down. (You can add on later, if desired, for example - dessert.) The atmosphere is so pleasant, service is friendly, and the food is simply DIVINE. (And the water, served from glass bottles is delicious - I’m fussy about the water I drink and this water is obviously filtered and clean.) We got the pierogi and it was delicious. APTEKA is a wonderful 100% vegan experience. We will definitely be back. If we didn’t live 2 hours away, we’d be there weekly and make it a goal to try everything in the menu. “Incredible food, drinks and service! The atmosphere is lovely as well, it's a treat to dine in the garden when the weather is warm. They have very creative and delicious cocktails, I enjoyed their take on an old fashioned with chai tea and smoked cedar. I recommend ordering family style so you can try as much as possible. The roti with chicken curry, pork satay, tuna laab, 17 ingredient salad, stir fried morning glory and mushrooms, chicken jungle curry and khao soi beef cheek were all delicious!!! We also enjoyed the coconut ice cream and Thai custard for dessert, it's hard to go wrong here when everything on the menu is so good. Tables are hard to book, but if you can't get a reservation you can walk in if you show up 15-20 minutes before they open“

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. “The Forge has been an absolute staple in Pittsburgh for the past seven years. I’ve visited at least fifty times, and every single meal has been nothing short of incredible. Their wood-fired pizzas, especially the Feta Feta Bang Bang, are outstanding. The Tuna Steak, grape leaves, hummus, and Old World Falafel (truly the best you’ll ever have) are all top-notch.

When it comes to cocktails, The Forge easily stands out as the best in Pittsburgh—by far. I’ve explored countless spots, and this place is number one. The drinks are crafted with so much care. They are unmatched.

The service is consistently phenomenal, It’s family-owned and operated and you can see the passion come through in the atmosphere and every ingredient of everything they put out. The setting is both welcoming and dimly lit. Every visit is an experience.

I can’t recommend The Forge enough—it’s a true gem.

Parking: There’s a lot designated to the forge to the left of the building. I’ve never had a problem finding a spot. There’s plenty of street parking too.“

“It was our first time here and from the first look around you could tell it was going to be great. The decor and vibes are perfectly in line with the quality of the food. My beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection and my wife said the swordfish was the best she ever had. After dinner we had a cocktail at the bar which was a scene all it's own.
