“Phenomenal food, atmosphere & people! This place is a gem & worth the drive no matter where you're from! I took my husband for his birthday.

He had veal parmigiana w linguine & salad. I had pappardelle bolognese w italian wedding soup. The bread was warm w oil for dipping & the entrees served hot as they should be. (it was obvious that nothing was sitting waiting to come out of the kitchen)

The waitstaff are super friendly & attentive and the cocktails- a bloody mary & tiramisu martini were excellent!

Dessert was brownie ala mode w a candle & song for hubs, and tiramisu for me.

“I had the miso glazed Black cod tonight. I had lamb last night and salmon and ahi tuna the nights before. Awesome menu. Black cod is my favorite fish and I guarantee I am the only person writing a review that worked on a black cod catcher/processor in the Bering Sea. While BC is popular in Hawaii where it is called butterfish, I think the pineapple rice is a mistake. The sweetness overpowers the flavors. I’d serve this fish with kale and mashed potatoes and kalamata olives. Let those Omega fatty fats shine through! Miso is fine, but fruits not needed. I also had a fantastically affordable dry red flight before dinner. Love Harvest.“

“This is a classic, great spot. It is not a regular place for us but it's worth the drive. It has been around for years but they always keep it fresh! It never disappoints! “Scrantons own hidden gem! Served a delicious sausage and cheese omlete with homefries cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, soft and warm inside. When asked about gluten free bread they were extremely accommodating, and toasted a gluten free roll to go with my breakfast. Service was great. No frills diner, great service and food. “I had the most delicious Chicken Francaise at the Club at the Highlands tonight, accompanied by mashed potatoes and zucchini superbly prepared and artfully presented. The sauce was to die for! I had a generous side salad that came with my meal. My companion had the round Archbald pizza that was a considerable size for a very reasonable $12! We both enjoyed an Alligash draft beer. It was a quiet night, the dining room was comfortable with a nice ambience and our very attentive server took care of us quickly. All in all, we thought the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We enjoyed our meal at The Highlands very, very much!“

The atmosphere is retro and fun and there's a booth set up like from the episode The Client that you can take photos in. The manager even took our photo. “We live just outside of Scranton, but hadn’t been in for a date night yet. My husband and I visited for dinner this weekend to celebrate my birthday, and while I knew the experience and presentation would be wonderful, I’d like to share how fantastic the food was, as well. Whoever builds the menu is truly special. We enjoyed drinks, appetizers, main dishes, as well as dessert. Every dish was curated with care, and absolutely delicious. We will certainly be back again! Our service was excellent, and the host was incredibly personable. Thanks for the great experience!“
