“Carriage House Inn was great to work with for our wedding! At the tasting Christy was super attentive and friendly. At our actual wedding all the servers were great! Any time I would come back to my table my water glass would be magically filled again, it was so nice! About 30 minutes before the ceremony started my sister noticed one of the arches (the main focal point behind the bride and groom table) was still in pieces and started trying to build it as quickly as possible. She said the server(s) asked if she needed help assembling it (so sweet!) My sister said they had it built in no time and even hung the string lights and cloth on the arch. I really really appreciate that! The food was also amazing. Especially the parmesan chicken. I highly reccomend them!“

“Visiting the area for the zoo ! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and the comforting aroma of fresh spices. I had the Thai salmon over veggies (spicy) with rice — perfectly cooked, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The crab wagons were crispy and addictive, the shrimp tempura light and golden, and the Neptune Feast, with its lightly sauced veggies and crab meat, shrimp, and scallops was absolute perfection. Every bite was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. Service was quick and friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made the whole experience even better. A must-visit for anyone who loves exceptional Asian cuisine!“

“So many tasty food options beyond the typical amusement park fried fare that we much preferred the comfort and ease of indoor buffet to the outside BBQ or the higher priced restaurants you see at most ski resorts. As crazy as it can be for a cafeteria or marketplace, the cooking staff actually seemed to care and take time and care in preparing the meals (e.g., quesadilla, grilled cheese, potato)! The only problem? Price... but of course, we are at a ski resort and it could be worse.“

“It’s been awhile since we were at this Applebees, but we will be back sooner! Had a great waiter Michael, very friendly, polite & he made sure our order was prepared the way we ordered it. Ordered burger well done & it came out with much to pink for me. He took it back & then told me they would prepare a new burger for me, instead of recooking it. Meal was hot & fresh & kept checking with us to see if we needed anything. Keep up the great work Michael - it is appreciated!!“

“When I walked into the Dixie diner, I was immediately transported to the day my grandfather took me to a diner in the 60s. The decor, the food, the friendly service was like being in a time capsule of that day. All good! I went back and brought my grandchildren, who loved the place and the stories of their great grandfather. I go back now every chance I get.“

“We have gone a few times and always the food was amazing. My son always ask to go here. We went yesterday and the food was amazing as always except for one of the desserts that was very watery. The only thing we didn’t like was the service this time. The lady seems upset and didn’t seem to want to serve us. I even asked for which pie flavor was the best and her response was I don’t eat pie. Very sad this happened because its an amazing place. They just loss a customer.“

“What a great place! We were passing through and decided to swing in here. The parking lot was packed when we arrived & for good reason. The people were friendly and the food was delicious. Uncle Dirty even made sure to point out our Penn State shirts and gifted us a bottle of barbecue sauce! Would highly recommend!“

“I stop by a few times a month when I'm in town with friends. Its a very laid back casual place, and the burgers are top rate. Plenty of musical variety from the Jukebox. Two burgers, four beers, fries and tip won't break $40! It is, however; a smoking bar which isn't for everyone.“

“Best bbq since we moved from NC. They should think about offering hush puppies and grits. Red and white slaw would probably cause a southern defection.“

“A Cozy pub with good food! Only complaint, as others have said, is that the service is slow. We were warned when we ordered that the kitchen was backed up (even though the restaurant was only half full), but even waving down our waiter to order a second drink took a while. Only come here if you're not in a rush.“
