“We love peppis! One of the best subs in the city for a great cost (even during an environment where everything has increased), theirs is minimally noticeable. Staff is great and always make you feel welcome with a joke or a laugh! Food is fresh, they use Mancinis rolls (iykyk). Tons of options, but my favorite will always be the cheesesteak! They have burgers, fries, etc! Indoor seating, fountain drinks, and bottled drinks available! Highly recommend!“

“Our visit was on 3/14. We were waited on right away, but things started to go sideways from there. First off, the wooden tables are GROSS! The finish is coming off and they’re real sticky, honestly, I didn’t want to even put my elbows on it!

When the food came, they forgot my friends fries, but they fixed it. The food was good, I will say that. Then the check came! My check was wrong, they tried to charge me for a drink that was part of the deal, the manager fixed it. Some excuse about splitting a check that made no sense. Then my friends credit card came back…. In theory! The waitress gave him someone else’s check back along with someone else’s credit card! They had to look around the tables to find his card and then give back whose ever credit card that he had.

Over all, the food was good, the service was not so good, the atmosphere was REALLY LOUD! My ears are still ringing as I write this.“

“The staff is excellent and very caring. They are the perfect business for that plaza, especially because it's near one of Allegheny Health Networks treatment centers. “The people working at Jersey Mike's on Saturday evening, July 18 2020 went above and beyond for us. I placed an online order and on our way to get the order the vehicle we were driving in broke down. I called and explained the situation because I knew we wouldn't get there before close. The person I spoke with was so kind and assured me I could still get my order. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get there at all and when I called to explain and offer my order to the closing team, the person who answered was again so kind and offered to refund my order even though I had no intention of asking for that. For being the ONLY one literally working, he keeps the place exceptionally clean, tables floors, bathrooms and food prep station as well. “My wife and I stopped at this Firehouse Subs for the first time. We split a large Italian sub, which was plenty of food for a light lunch. The sandwich was not bad, but there was nothing special about it either. Most of the meat was just ham, with a wisp of salami (??maybe?), and there was very little cheese, lettuce and tomato, making it really just a warm ham sandwich. The only thing that made it somewhat Italian was the little bit of dressing they put on it. (NOTE: by the way, I didn't realize that all subs are HOT subs, unless you specifically ask for cold.) I may go back someday to try their cheesesteak, but not in a hurry to visit again. Final Verdict: Not bad, but nothing to write home about.“

My grandmother is 95 years old and lives in Green Tree. She receives Meals on Wheels and occasionally cooks for herself, but she doesn’t get to eat out often. When family visits, she loves to treat us to something simple that we can all share together.

A few weeks ago, I visited with my parents and my one-year-old daughter. My grandmother had a coupon for Jersey Mike’s (buy two giant subs, get one free) and was excited to use it so she could treat all of us to lunch. When I brought the coupon in, it didn’t list the Green Tree location, and initially I was told it likely couldn’t be honored.

Manager Chris stepped in, reviewed the coupon, and although this location typically wouldn’t accept it, he chose to honor it so we could enjoy lunch together. He took the time to ask about my grandmother and genuinely cared about making it a positive experience. I overheard him coaching his team about creating great customer moments in instances like this. That level of leadership and kindness is rare.

My grandmother — who was born during the Great Depression and loves a good deal — was absolutely over the moon. We had a wonderful lunch together, and it meant more than just sandwiches.

This location is always clean, the sandwiches are consistently fantastic, and service is quick. We will absolutely continue coming back. Thank you, Chris, for going above and beyond. It truly made our day.“

“Visited this location for the first time at lunch today. There were probably 4 people in front of me and one behind me. Plus, one person came in to pick up 2 delivery orders. The ladies waiting on us crushed it. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The person directly in front of me ordered 3 sandwiches with all double meat. Also, their hair and makeup were flawless. Masks worn properly, changed gloves between orders. This will probably be my go-to location from now on.“
