“What an interesting place ! I was initially greeted by the ritual greeting of ' let me see if a table is available " . After a slight wait my party of 4 was seated at a booth with a window view. I must admit I was amazed the first time the express train silently flew by. I ordered the Steak and shared the grilled octopus with my husband. The food was excellent, and my server was very pleasant. It was a very cold night however I found the environment very warm and accommodating as our party enjoyed a fabulous bottle of red wine . Our experience overall was quite good and look forward to a Friday happy hour visit !“

“In all fairness, it’s been years since I’ve been there however, when I did go with my wife it was an awesome experience. I had my most favorite drink that I have ever experienced there. It was a vanilla-raisin old fashioned. I enjoyed it so much I have re-created it to the best of my ability many times over. You will love this place!“

We ordered half the menu and shared everything, and there was not a single miss. The pastrami egg rolls were my personal favorite, but I need to go back to try the burger. “From one barista to another- incredible work 🩶. I was enamored by the inherent sweetness of their shots, very caramel-forward. Ended up going home with a bag of honey processed beans and a persistent hankering for another visit. My visit was brief because I had a schedule to stay on, but I could easily see myself spending multiple hours here. Community vibes come naturally to this place.“

“We happened upon this place from an on-line search. If you dine here, you won't be disappointed!!!!. One of our party has celiac disease and the chef came out to personally discuss her preferences. A couple of us ordered the tuna. It was perfectly cooked. Another had the Lobster Risotto, with an ample portion of lobster. Our server was top notch. We would return in a New York minute.“

“Izzy's is my Fri night go to after getting off the train. James, Brian, Justin and the rest of the crew provide a warm welcome and great service. The hand rolls are excellent! It's really noisy and space is tight, and every once in a while I meet someone new for an interesting conversation. And it's just fine with everyone if I roll up with my New Yorker magazine for a quick bite on the way home!“

“I had a private party (20 Guests) on a Saturday afternoon. Everything went PERFECT! Olivia Karlin was an amazing host and event organizer! She informed me that I needed to pick three meals and two starters for my menu. I had the room for 2 hours and it was so much fun! Checking out was easy and everything went the way we planned it. Would definitely recommend!!“
