“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Carina Sorella last night. I took my 10-year-old daughter out for dinner, and it turned into one of those memorable evenings that you hope for but don’t always find.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere stood out. The restaurant is beautifully designed—elegant but still warm and inviting—and it immediately set the tone for a great night. It’s the kind of place that feels special without being overly formal, which made it perfect for a dinner with my daughter.

Asher and Tom took exceptional care of us throughout the evening. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Their service struck the perfect balance—always there when we needed something, but never intrusive.

The food was outstanding across the board. The bread appetizer was a great start—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to kick off the meal. We also ordered the pasta, pepperoni pizza, and chicken piccata, and each dish was excellent. Everything was prepared beautifully, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. It’s not often that every single dish at the table impresses, but that was definitely the case here.

What made the evening even more special was how much my daughter enjoyed it. Finding a restaurant that delivers both a high-quality dining experience and a welcoming environment for a 10-year-old isn’t always easy, but Carina Sorella absolutely delivered.

This continues to be our favorite place to dine on the Main Line. The combination of exceptional food, outstanding service, and a beautiful setting makes it stand out every time.

I spoke with Christine who helped me place the order, and helped me to decide the best options for my menu. One of my options was a prime rib, where I received a phone call from Johnny himself to help me figure out the best way to prepare it for the party. When it was time to retrieve the food on the day of the party, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Johnny once again came out and was talking with me about the food. I appreciate this aspect of a business, it makes you feel like you’re in a friendly environment, rather than a sterile kitchen. The food quality was amazing. Every platter was delicious, and every guest was happy with how the food turned out. The prime rib was the largest hit, not surprisingly. I couldn’t believe the value of everything as well. Last night was completely different and I thought it was important to say so. The service was attentive. The wine list was expanded and had more affordable options. But the star of the night was the food. Eggplant fritters were crispy outside and pillowy inside and came with a delicious complementary dipping sauce. A charcuterie board is not usually something that excites me. But the selections we tried were transportative. The pecorino tartufo with our Pinot noir were the perfect pair. The other meats and cheese we tried made every bite a party. Our entree selection was the lasagne, which we didn't realize was vegetarian. The dish completely won us over. Inventive and flavorful, the lasagne in not like something you've had before and is a must try! I'm so glad we came back and gave Adelina's another try. Cheers!“
