“Little Basil has become our go to place for carry out Chinese food near Broomall! Love the food and the woman who always hands me the order is wonderful. They also accommodate our request for minimal/low/no salt, which is important for our health restrictions.

Favorites include the Khali mirch fish and Dal makhani although we have enjoyed a wide variety of mains and appetizers. Routinely order for take out for the family and it hits right every time!“

“We celebrated our anniversary here and it was by far the best anniversary dinner. the staff was so nice and professional. the staff also went above and beyond with setting up the table(rose petals, a card, and heart confetti) and giving us goodies like champagne, a long stem rose, and even took our picture and printed it out for memories! We will definitely be going back again next year.“

I made the horrible mistake of eating at Pat's the other day, and the meat tasted like shoe leather. “This was our first time and we loved it!! My daughter had been prior and suggested Sedona! Very good food and great service from Danielle!! Nachos, stuffed jalapeño’s for starters and just delicious!!!! I had the shrimp and grits which were amazing!! It came with the smallest bottle of Tobassco and my wife said…thank you!!!🤷🏾 my ladies loved their dishes and it was a nice time at dinner!! Didn’t wait long for a seat which is always a plus! It’s a large space which also has outside seating!! When I got home I sent those shrimp right back to the Bayou which was a good thing…it made room for two apple cider donuts from Linvilla!!! “Timing of meal was only issue . Waiter made it a point to say meal would be timed w apps if we ordered at same time. All came out at once. Sent back dinners as the seafood would've been cold. Otherwise food and drinks delicious! Wish they could get timing of meals right. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me w the same waiter.“

“We were in town for the weekend. Came across this place on Saturday night. We enjoyed it very much. The oysters were fresh. My wife really liked the romaine salad. Spaghetti al limone was tasty - the sorrento lemon really comes out. The frutti di mare was really tasty - the chef is not afraid to bring the spice. Service was very attentive. We would visit again if we make it back to Philly.“

“I moved to the neighborhood from Brooklyn recently. One day while walking around, I passed this unassuming place. The only indication that it was open was a chair outside with a bouquet of flowers to pin down a paper menu to the chair. The menu looked divine.

A few days later I walked past, showing my partner that the place almost seemed closed from the outside but was very cute inside. Someone who worked there came out as we were looking and was very kind, asking us if we had reservations yet. We said no but booked immediately.

The first time I visited, I had the sourdough, Marinated Mussels (hakurei turnips, miso, chili oil), Carrot (crab, brown butter), Shrimp (peaches, coppa, toasted marcona almonds), and Gnudi (corn& basil). It was an entirely no-skips meal. The mussels came cold, out of their shell, and the sauce was incredible. The “carrot” was more like a crab cake with coconut, brown butter, and an unidentifiable but delightful citrus. A perfect balance of rich & light. The gnudi seemed simple, but the lightly spicy sauce really pulled all the ingredients together. Finally, the shrimp with peaches really knocked my socks off. Lots of places will make “seasonal” menus but not put the effort into making sure that produce is top notch. The peaches would’ve been delicious on their own, but with the rest of the dish, they really shined.

The second time I went (just a few weeks later) I got the Chicory Salad (anchovy, buttermilk, comte), the Steelhead Trout (sungold tomato, perilla), and a tuna crudo special. I also re-ordered the bread, the carrot with crab, and the gnudi. Everything was just as good as last time, and the new additions were truly worth trying. Something as simple as a chicory salad can be so hit or miss - but WOW!

For dessert we had the cherry brown butter tart with crème fraiche. No complaints at all here.

Now I’ve rambled on plenty about the delicious food, which I will be back for very soon, but I truly haven’t ever been to a place with better service. The workers are extremely attentive and kind. I felt like I’ve known everyone there for a long time.

“Delicious Indian cuisine. I’ve been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant since I moved to the Philly area about 6 months ago, and I mean really struggling. Out of all of the places I’ve tried, Srinagar takes the cake!!! The Chicken Tikka Masala is incredible and is the perfect spice level for a medium. I did only get delivery via a third party service, but would certainly consider eating in next time. Will be eating here again!!!“

“Never have I been in a restaurant where the person cooking your food is so concerned with food contamination. This was so impressive, she change her gloves after each item she touch. So often I go into restaurants and the staff to me our under the impression that the gloves are to keep there hands clean so handling money and food is alright.
