“Old world steakhouse atmosphere. Service was excellent and our appetizers of porlk bellies and stuffed mushrooms were delicious. The lamb chops were beautifully prepared and seasoned. And of course the filets were temped to perfection. Combine this with some martinis and an exquisite malbec and you have a truly excellent meal. The pasta dish was one of the best I've ever had. I actually prefer this over Vedge as it's sometimes difficult to read the menu and foresee how it'll arrive. Tasting menu is a good value, no complaints at all there. Vibe was lively but not too loud. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. FYI you can BYOB your own wine for a $25 corkage fee. We had our favorite French wine. It was a good deal for us.“

“Wonderful drinks and dinner at Portobellos Kenneth Square. A pear cocktail, very fruity and tasty. A Bailey's, Kahlua and Fireball that was delicious. A mushroom and Jim Beam Manhattan, smoky and did have a mushroom background. We started with mushroom arancini, cheesy and mushroomy. The clams Avalon, their take on clams casino, but are so much better. The clams are definitely the star, not killed with an overabundance of bread crumbs, and the clams are left whole, not minced. Tender, chewy and clammy with their liquor still in the shell. The saucy ravioli is mushroomy and creamy. The crispy duck with cherry sauce is fall off the bone tender. All in all a great birthday dinner.“

Plenty of room for the 2 of us on our dinner date but of course got a bit loud from some people yelling. It's the bar side so it's to be expected.We chose 6 raw oysters, 2 great whites, 2 summer loves, and 2 Wellfleets. The summer loves were a bit small compared to the others, but they were all great.Next we had shrimp cocktail that didn't last long enough for a picture, but tasted so fresh.Both entrées, the crab cakes and Pappardelle Fra Diavolo were fresh, well presented and delicious.Ended the night with classic Crème brûlées that hit the spot.Pricey but worth every penny.“
“First time visit. Made reservations online for 10 people for my daughters 18th birthday. Our waitress Chrissy showed us to a private room which was perfect for this occasion. Didn’t even request a private room so was a neat surprise. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and that you could see the kitchen while food was cooking. Chrissy took amazing care of us throughout. She was so sweet and the manager came in to check on us as well. Every dish ordered came out at once with a dazzling array of at least 5 waitresses. Special attention was given to us and the service was incredible. Food came fast and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend the ribeye with lobster fondue, the seared tuna superfood and the tomahawk pork chop. Everything was delicious. The kitchen sent out a special desert plate with candles for my daughter with the plate inscribed Happy 18th birthday. We had a blast and all the special attention we received did not go unnoticed. We all can’t wait to come back! They made this memorable occasion feel so special and I am so grateful. What a fantastic spot! 5 stars plus!“
