“The food is to die for, you cannot pick a wrong item! We got the crab dip appetizer, pulled pork entree, crab cake sandwich and the kid's mini dog with fries. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommend the apples and cinnamon as a side! The staff is helpful and attentive from the host all the way to the waitress and managers. I've never been to a restaurant where the service is so great! We will definitely be a return customer 😊 Side note: The restaurant is extremely kid friendly and accommodating. They have high chairs and tables with enough room to fit the high chair or a stroller while still having enough room for everyone else.“

The servers were exceptional, making sure my tea glass was topped off, checking with us several times, having the dessert menu as we needed it. Especially enjoyed the POKE SALAD (echoes of ELVIS). “We had an amazing experience at the restaurant. Matthew was our waiter and he was very attentive and kind. Our waters were always full and we're giving new clean silverware for each course. It was a beautiful atmosphere incredible food, and very worth the money. “

“Very good reuben sandwich crispy and crunchy rye bread. Thick corned beef which was soft and melted in my mouth. 9.25 out of 10. Btw I've never rated a corned beef sandwich higher than a 9 today. Always room for improvement. Came with chips. Should have asked for a substitute on the side.“

“This is our very favorite restaurant, however due to a very large crowd this evening, we had to sit at the bar. It was nice at first. But our waitress/bartender was a bit rude to us and didn't even check on how our meals came out, offer more beverages, refills and did not offer dessert. We usually tip very well but didn't this time. The crowd had really dispersed by the time we had our meals so there was really no excuse for the bad service. We will continue to go back of course becasue we love it there but hoping for a better experience.“

“The three of us went for a late lunch and even though we had to wait about 20-25 minutes to get a seat, the staff for the most part were really friendly. One of the waitresses has been there for a long time and is always super friendly to my mom and I. Food came out fairly quickly and tasted wonderful“

A friend of mine of many years said it’s the best in the area, my wife and I just moved back from Florida and they don’t make very pizza down there.😊 Anyway, your pizza is AWESOME, TASTY and just very very delicious and great!!!! Great crust, love the sauce, curled up pepperoni!!! “I went there with a group of 6. Easy reservations just a few hours earlier, good food, cool decor. We were in the indoor dining room on first floor. Very loud group next to us, so towards the end of our dining conversation had become nearly impossible. Good reviews on their soda bread, shepherd's pie, and classic fish & chips! Definitely recommend their cheesesteak egg rolls as well!“

“Penley's Pub is a recent addition to Dutch Wonderland. It's the first restaurant inside the park that serves alcohol and they have a great selection of local beers. They also have a few food options focusing on pretzels and sausages. The prices are decent given that it's inside an amusement park.“

The food was exceptional, great prices and quality, presentation. and the nostalgic atmosphere really brought it all together. All of the food my family ordered was perfectly cooked and the portions are spot on. From the steak to the burger, to my liver and onions! I also have to add that if you like wings, well you MUST get them. I travel all around the country and all around the globe for my Equestrian Business, Sensory Soundness, and let me tell you, your senses will be overjoyed! The wings here are at the top tier level! I got the Old Bay dry rub, and I highly recommend! The staff are all great, work as a team, and our server Becca was just wonderful. Great Job by all, we will be back!!“

“Delicious meal (Crab cakes are so good) and so was the cheeseburger slider with upgrade of salad - so fresh and big enough for 2 to share. good selection of fun drinks and beers and very good service. Carmen our server was so helpful and worked hard caring for us and even saw her watering the lovely garden outside. The outdoor dining area is pretty and inviting but was too hot outdoors for us last night. Next time we go we will sit in the outdoor garden for dinner.“

We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. That was outstanding. I had arctic char over a peach gazpacho. I wasn't sure if I would like the cold gazpacho with the hot fish but what do I know? It was great. My wife had the spare ribs. She was raving about how tender they were.
The service was also top notch. I don't think you can have a bad experience at this restaurant.“

“Head manager we love your establishment but seriously experienced the worst service! We waited over a half an hour for our food to find after I ask for them to check on our food that they burnt my wife’s steak and made her another one my meal when brought out must of been reheated twice and burnt!!!! So disgusting! Why would a manager send food out looking that bad???? We will have to find another steak house that cares about their customers“
