“My wife and I ate here while we were visiting Pittsburgh and the food is absolutely delicious. My wife got the lasagna while I got the chicken parm and both dishes were absolutely spectacular. My wife is still raving about the lasagna, saying it's the best she's ever had. The service is great, the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of you like you are apart of the family. Highly recommend!”

“Had high expectations for this place but the food just wasn’t that great :/ I ate solo and even tried to fit in 3 dishes but neither of them really hit. Pierogi were nicely crisped on the outside but the romesco-like sauce on the bottom made the dish more on the acidic side, especially since there was already pickled relish on top, and I found myself wishing for more fat or sweetness. I actually used ricotta that came with bread and it tasted much better with it. Lobster roll filling was excellent but I wished they’d actually toasted the bread on the inside and not on the outside. Eating soft white bread of which there was a lot just didn’t feel great. Finally, the skate had good flavor and shishitos were a cute touch but the fish was severely undersalted (it’s a thick fillet) and the sauce on the bottom was, again, mostly acidic and didn’t help much.

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

“I live in Monroeville and somehow only recently became aware of Big Rig’s BBQ. Someone from the North Hills told me about it when I mentioned that I was from Monroeville. He said to me, “Oh, Monroeville! That’s where they have that REALLY good BBQ place. It is SO good and it makes you think, ‘Now this is some honestly authentic BBQ!’”. “Best bread anywhere in the Pittsburgh area…worth our 30 minute drive to buy!! And if you want to treat yourself to the BEST cinnamon roll - buy one and savor it!! Flavor is incredible and one roll can feed 2 people easily!! If they ever make the flat non-iced sugar sprinkled cinnamon rolls again- I will buy them all!! Those are absolute perfection in taste and texture..piece of Heaven!!”

“It smells soooo good. Once you get outside the store, you can smell the goodies. Once you get inside, you want to eat everything and buy everything it smells so good!!

The ice cream is some of the BEST I've ever had very fresh!! And you MUST try the pound cake is ABSOLUTELY Delicious ? it comes by the slice however you can order a whole cake. The cookies & brownies are delicious too!!

Their Pad kee Mao is my favorite dish, the flat rice noodles hold the flavor amazingly and this is also the first Thai place I've ever encountered that a 10/10 spice is too much for me. 6-7 is so rich with spice without the overwhelming heat. “I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.”
