There is a buffet to choose fresh vegetable items to add to the broth. Soft drinks are included. No alcohol. On and off street parking is hit or miss on Cherry Street. Elevator from ground level to second floor restaurant. My first experience here and would go back.“

“Illata has become our favorite Fitler Square restaurant, and we've been in the neighborhood for 22 years. It's a little gem, nestled on Gray's Ferry Ave just steps from South Street. The staff is extraordinarily pleasant and helpful, and the food is - in a word- exquisite. All delicious, all prepared beautifully, a very balanced menu of seafood, red meat and vegetarian options. Their desserts are divine!
But perhaps the most amazing, and extremely reasonable addition, to the menu is their sourdough bread- hearty and flavorful, with a perfect slightly chewy feel on the tongue. We've taken to order some to go!

I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“Srinagar is a small restaurant on a quiet little street in Narberth. I have to say that the food here was excellent! In fact, it was some of the best indian food I have ever had. The dishes were fragrant, fresh, and served piping hot. We highly recommend the chana masala, saag paneer, and fresh-baked naan. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.“

I had a double order of the fried lobster appetizer as my entree (tastes like elevated kentucky fried chicken but with lobster & more decadent). The onion soup was delicious and massive. “I love supporting local businesses and captain's choice is on of my go to spots for beer or a seafood platter. He definitely has great prices on beer. He also sells wine as well as other alcohol drinks and cigarettes. My only complaint is that when you order the fried flounder platter they always give such a tiny amount of fries not even a handful of fries. I wish they would give you more fries with the meal. Also there the only place in the Mayfair area in my knowledge that sells cups of Philadelphia water ice all year around which I absolutely love.“

Each dish was beautifully presented (love the tableware) and was so well prepared. Server and Staff were so pleasant and accommodating. Loved that we could walk across the Street to the Academy of Music. Perfect night out with good Friends . (Except for Phillies loss).“

I strayed from my typical ribeye and I had the filet mignon and needless to say, it was absolutely amazing. It cut like butter and it tasted divine. We had some sides and then my decadent cheesecake. We were off to a show and server Marie was sure to get us out on time!“

“Amazingly good food, but you are going to pay for it. Drinks are excellent -- always nice to have a cocktail with one big cube. Menu is designed for sharing, but portions aren't large. They inquire about dietary restrictions.

We shared 3 apps, 2 pastas and 2 "mains." Everything was wonderful -- some of the best chicken I've ever had. Desserts -- we shared the selection of 3 -- are not to be missed as well, and you will have room.“
