“I decided to give this place a try after reading some reviews and had a craving for a poke bowl. I went with rice, broccoli, brussell sprouts, chicken, and tuna poke. I really enjoyed the rice, broccoli, chicken, and poke, although the poke upcharge was pricey and the brussell sprouts were tougher than I expected. I got takeout, which was super convenient with online ordering and quick pickup service.“

“Haven’t been inside to dine since my husband passed away. I was there with my son and his girlfriend for my birthday lunch. The fries were awesome, but the gravy cheese fries were out of this world delicious. I had the Rock107 burger and it was delicious. My son had the chicken quesadilla, but wasn’t thrilled with them. She had the wing bites and stated they were really good. We sat in the booth where the Big Barrel of root beer use to be. Brought back so many memories of past visits. Will definitely be back to our little diamond in the rough restaurant!“

“We visited for our third time on Valentine’s Day and had a phenomenal experience as always. I thought with the holiday we might feel rushed but the pace of the meal was great. It was plenty of time to get your fill of delicious food. My husband enjoyed all the meats offered. I ordered off the menu and my meal was delicious. I also ordered one of their signature drinks with the lime and it was amazing! All of the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We will definitely back.“

“Food and Fire kind of resemble a place by my old house called BJ's Brewhouse with it's industrial setting. Not so much a sports bar but has enough TVs for people to watch all types of games. However, I find the seating arrangement to be slightly sparse and empty, maybe could move a table or two and add a few more covers. Food is pretty good but needs salt all the way across the board. Had the smoke bombs and even the cream cheese was pretty bland. But, the smoky bacon carried the appetizer. Had the pit burger and it's pretty large, with the fries if you eat the whole meal you'll be stuffed. The bbq has quite the smoky kick which is nice, but lingers in your mouth and gut after. My wife got the pulled pork platter and her meat was greasy but not bad. Sister in law had brisket quesadillas which she liked. I'd return for other dishes, the brisket sandwich or a platter, but overall the menu is a bit small.“

We had pumpkin ravioli to die for as an appetizer and I had chicken parm that was so tender and flavorful. My side of vodka linguini is a new favorite! So good! Hubby's chicken strips and penne was also great. I also recommend their strawberry salad. Always a great place to eat!“

The S.O. was born in the area and his uncle is friends with the owner and his cousin had worked there growing up, so we wanted to give the support. Great little unassuming spot. Grabbed seats at the bar. Drinks were perfect. Had the cappelletti to start-cant find those in central NY so that was a special treat. Tuna melt special for me hit the spot. If only we lived closer, this would be a regular spot for us.“

“I don't want to dump on Scranton, (It is after all a depressed coal belt city) and I was only there for a few hours. In my limited experience with "The Electric City," this is far and away the best thing about it. Great service, great chili dogs, and if you're passing by on RT 81 or 476, a fairly easy detour to make if you're a Hot Dog aficionado, or maybe just Scranton Curious. Ask for directions to Schrute's Beet Farm B&B and the Dunder Mifflin Paper Co. tour. ;)“

My fiancée and I come for breakfast or order delivery multiple times a week. Their coffee is AMAZING and honestly never had a bad experience. We had Linda both times we went there and the first time she was rude and was rushing and I thought maybe she was just having a bad day but we just had her again yesterday and she had the same attitude. She was looking at my husband and asking him questions that pertained to my order cause I guess I can’t answer for myself. I was given a rude reaction because I asked if I can have my soup and salad come out at the same time cause I wanted them both as my entree and that was crossing the line I suppose. She rushed through taking our order and made mistakes to both mine and my husbands food. It is just a shame because it’s a great place and has great food but I guess next time I make a reservation I will ask to sit wherever she will not be our waitress. Not too sweet like some places. Bartender is awesome. Very attentive. Good selection or top shelf bourbon and nice wines. On the downside, it's expensive, and during the week it's pretty dead. Most definitely go there for the food not the bar experience.“

The mashed potatoes and gravy was nice and creamy and the meatloaf was a big portion and had a great savory and sweet taste. “Sandwiches so good we went two days in a row! The clerks at the counter were very helpful in making suggestions for us on our first visit. My daughter and I followed the recommendation and shared the steak & cheese hoagie and were not disappointed! My son-in-law had a tasty chicken parmesan hoagie. Went back the next day to try the sausage & peppers and roast beef hoagies, while my son-in-law did a repeat of the chicken parm. All were excellent and were a great value! They have an amazing bar chef that makes some of the best bar food you'll find in the area (I got a burger and the beef was so fresh and juicy), the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is prefect for the live performances they have! On the live performances note, they get, by far, some of the best groups around! I personally go there for their blues/funk performances and they're beyond incredible!
