“9.20.24 While traveling around the US from our home in CO, we stopped at the Erie store. Wow, it is outstanding. The quality, selection, variety of prepared meals and OMG the bakery. In addition the store design is attractive, staff is friendly and the store and restrooms are spotless. Other stores could learn a thing or two about how a grocery store experience should be. I ask you, have you ever seen parking spaces reserved for expecting moms, or flowered in the man’s bathroom. Golly I love it!!“

“I work in the activities department for Soldiers' and Sailors' Home and this evening we were very pleased with our outing at Maria's Pizza. Not only did their diverse menu hit the spot for many picky eaters, but it also provided a great family atmosphere. The staff was very kind and courteous, respectful of our Veterans and they served us with perfect time, especially since our crowd is typically not known to be very patient and/or have short attention spans. The pricing was well within budget, giving our residents the ability to splurge and go wild on a smorgasbord of deliciousness. Thank you so much for the amazing experience! “After working a 14-hour day, we picked up Donatos for dinner. Unfortunately, the 3 orders of wings were missing from the order. The manager went out of his way to fix the situation. He had the wings delivered to us- way out of their normal delivery area. The food was great. Customer service was top notch. Kudos to the Harborcreek Donatos!“

“I get my deli every 2 weeks,I always get the sand.pepp,hard salami,some prov,cheese,yellow american,some mozz,occasionally some roast beast,call it in on Saturday b4 10 am,save 1.00 per lb per item,meat is cut nice and thin,cheese as well,best place to get your deli on,I've used garys so many many times,I don't have to leave a name,dude knows who placed it ,names on the bag,didn't give him my name,m paying close to 5 a lb when the Walmart is charging 8-9 per lb,um yeah no brainer,plus when I pick up my order,there is always something tasty too take home,12 in sub rolls,6 in a bag,really fresh,7 bucks dang“

“Delicious pizza. Came out quickly & was delicious. My only gripe is they seem to have an unusually high amount of flies/gnats swarming around (especially by the bathroom hallway/soda machines). It would probably help if they had less standing water/puddles throughout the place“

I run a local motel and i push them business EVERY time anyone asks where they should order from.
The woman that runs this establishment is AMAZING. She answers the phone, cooks and she has even delivered a few times.
This place is a gem.
The food is absolutely phenomenal. Tried just about everything on the menu, throughout the years. Its all quality ingredients and its extremely consistent.
If you go into the place, be prepared for an optical illusion. The place is 20x the size of what it looks like from the outside. And, they have great decor.

I should have figured new owner who say they won't change things would go and change things. New menus dont read like menu borders. Not impressed.“

“After reading some of the reviews my husband and I were kind of reluctant to go there for dinner but we had 2 hungry little ones with us so we figured we would try it out. From the minute we walked and told us in to the minute we left, everything was amazing! Our server greeted us instantly and told us to sit wherever we wanted. We gave her our order, which was a lot, and she didn't even write it down and got everything right.. The food was so good, everything was cooked perfectly.. It looked like the server was the only person working but she was still very attentive to not only my family, also the other custIomers and families. I believe her name was Charise. That's what it said on our bill. Regardless, that woman deserves recognition for all the hard work I witnessed her doing.“

“Small dining room, but service was fast and friendly. The food is amazingly good and in large portions. Almost two meals for the price of one. The loaded potato soup that came with the dinner was rich and creamy. We had the lasagna and chicken Alfredo and both were exceptional. A must order is the cheesy garlic bread. Hard to beat. You have to try, will enjoy.“

“Most incredible French Onion Soup I have EVER tasted. And I order French onion soup every time I’m at a new place that serves it. There is no recipe or establishment that can compare with the soup I had at the Beechwood Inn. It was a mission of mine to find the best French onion soup and after 25 years of searching, I can honestly say mission complete.
My son had the Big Wood burger and couldn’t say enough positive things about it.
We grabbed a cherry cheesecake desserts to go. It was also fabulous and you could tell it was homemade with its thick, buttery, graham cracker crust.
Loved the homestyle rustic ambience of both the dining and bar area. The murals/wood carvings are quite unique and add to the country home cooking feel.
Service was quick and friendly.
The total meal was quite inexpensive.
The only thing that disappointed me had nothing to do with the Beechwood inn, but the fact that none of the local Erie visitor guides even mentioned the existence of this place. Shame on them for not listing this hidden gem of a local business.“

“Ordered the meat lovers large pizza for 50% off and I have to honestly say it was one of the best pizza's I have ever had. The best topping was the Italian Sausage which really gave the pizza some extra flavor. The amount of toppings was good and the end of the crust was not too big. Sometimes you buy a pizza and 1/4th of it is raised crust that most people don't eat. Excellent pizza and service. 5 stars.“

However this location and others are relatively slow, wish the service was a bit faster on their end. “Though we probably didn’t visit at the best time of day or year, we had a really good experience at Sullivan’s. As a Philly native, their cheesesteak was surprisingly good. The bartender was very friendly and gave good bar suggestions for other places in Erie. The atmosphere wasn’t great though, I think the AC was busted so it was super hot, and the helipad across the street is very loud. Still a really cool divey Irish pub with great food.“

“I dropped in for an early dinner and sat at the bar. First, I love a bar with hooks for your purse and a foot rest so your legs don’t go numb. Second, service is fantastic. All the White Buffalo staff take care of you. If they notice your drink is low, they ask if you want another. They check if your order is correct and if you need anything else. All the staff care, not just an assigned server. Few places run this way. I got a salad with hot wing sauced chicken and steamed vegetables – brilliant idea. You don’t need dressing, because the sauce is the dressing. I loved that you have an option of grilled or fried chicken. The kitchen staff has chicken down – moist, not over cooked. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that the salad greens were mixed greens – not plain iceburg. It was wing night, so many around me were eating wings – they serve the biggest wings I have seen. The White Buffalo has many wing flavors and from what I saw, cook to order. Sitting at the bar, I could also see they offer lots of liquor options. I enjoy trying new brands and flavors, this bar does not disappoint. They also have some fun top shelf sippers. Looking forward to returning and trying some new treats.“
