“We absolutely loved our brunch experience! The food was delicious with generous portions and great prices. Our waitress, Taylor, and the owners (Sandra and Matthew) truly blessed our experience with their joy, kindness, and humor! 🫶🏽 I highly recommend this cafe and we will be back next time we're in PA! 😋“

“First visit was amazing, with an excellent selection of beers and diverse menu offerings! The Ahi Tuna and Pork Chops were both cooked perfectly and the desserts were huge portions! We will definitely be back!“

“My golf group (15 men) was at Carroll Valley Ski Liberty 9/14-9/26. On Sunday & Sunday we all ate dinner at Eagle and the Owl restaurant. I had Salmon entree on Sunday and Steak the next night. Both meals were very good and all the group members voiced similar views.
I would like to give a shoutout to our server Berenice!
She was one of the best I have experienced over the past years of coming here. She really cares about your satisfaction and handled any and all requests, and made my group’s end of day meal very enjoyable. Hope management will pass on our feedback.“
“Stayed for the first time and it will not be the last. The history and preservation being done by the new owners truly honors the past. Our room was beautiful and breakfast was great. The owners were fantastic and knew a lot of the history. Highly recommend a stay here.“

“A great little place to get out of the heat and have a great bite to eat. It’s so hot out today and the cold Club Sandwich was perfect! Sierra our server was prompt and kept checking back on the 3 of us, our granddaughter said her sandwich was delicious and my husband had the cheesesteak and pasta salad. The restaurant is really clean and sporty with baseball memories. Absolutely recommend it!“

“The food & cocktails are oustanding. The service is a bit slow, but we will continue to support this business. The beef stew was crazy good & flavorful. The wings were perfectly cooked...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. They have a brisket benny w/ hash browns. GET IT!! SOOO DELICIOUS.“

“This was my second time dining there and food is fresh and tastes excellent“
“Delicious family-style dining and exceptional service at Hickory Bridge Farm made for quite an evening out with friends.
The menu changes daily, but no matter what they are serving, I can guarantee it's going to be phenomenal.
On the evening of our visit, our meal began with fresh bread with apple butter, and a side salad topped with a warm bacon vinaigrette dressing. Then the main event began. The entrees that evening consisted of fried chicken, roasted pork, and crab imperial. There were so many sides as well ranging from broccoli with white cheese sauce, fried apples, hush puppies, glazed sliced carrots, and more. After an enormous feast you got to choose a delicious dessert from a separate menu.
Everything was fantastic, and the best part is, it's all-you-care-to-eat. So, if there is something you enjoyed, you can ask for more.
Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and matched our vibe perfectly. I wish I could remember her name as she deserves a proper shout out, but I forgot it by the time I sat down to write this review.
The aesthetic of the restaurant itself is warm and cozy. It is a rustic design and so comforting that even in a packed out restaurant, everything just sort of dissipates around you. It reminded me of something out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. That's the best way I can describe it.
There is ample free parking available onsite as well.
Hickory Bridge Farm is a hidden gem just nine short miles from historic Gettysburg. They do have a cocktail menu as well; featuring craft made adult beverages, wines, and a small assortment of local brews.
If you are considering this restaurant, do yourself a favor and move it to the top of your list. You won't be disappointed.“

“The restaurant was busy but the staff definitely kept up! Everyone was friendly. I ordered the shrimp basket with fries and it was delicious! Food came out fast and hot. The shrimp was juicy and pretty good size. The fries were amazing as well. So thankful they had sweet tea! If I ever get to come back out this way I'm eating here again!“

“Carriage House Inn was great to work with for our wedding! At the tasting Christy was super attentive and friendly. At our actual wedding all the servers were great! Any time I would come back to my table my water glass would be magically filled again, it was so nice! About 30 minutes before the ceremony started my sister noticed one of the arches (the main focal point behind the bride and groom table) was still in pieces and started trying to build it as quickly as possible. She said the server(s) asked if she needed help assembling it (so sweet!) My sister said they had it built in no time and even hung the string lights and cloth on the arch. I really really appreciate that! The food was also amazing. Especially the parmesan chicken. I highly reccomend them!“

“So many tasty food options beyond the typical amusement park fried fare that we much preferred the comfort and ease of indoor buffet to the outside BBQ or the higher priced restaurants you see at most ski resorts. As crazy as it can be for a cafeteria or marketplace, the cooking staff actually seemed to care and take time and care in preparing the meals (e.g., quesadilla, grilled cheese, potato)! The only problem? Price... but of course, we are at a ski resort and it could be worse.“
