“Gettysburg was our last stop on our 2 week summer road trip. We’ve eaten at restaurants with 5 star reviews on our trip but honestly the food we ordered and took back to our room from here was some of the best. The burger was thick and cooked perfectly! Fish tacos great flavor and my son loved his wings. Wait staff was very helpful and packed my to-go great with all the fixings.”

“I came in and sat the bar. Not only was the food and drinks AMAZING. The service was above and beyond. I was there solo celebrating my bday week, they were so friendly and welcoming. It was such a great experience I went back the second evening. The owners and staff were so nice and made me feel like I was there with old friends. “I have gone to Hoof, Fin & Fowl twice now in 2 months and both meals have been perfect! Portions, taste, plating, selections they are on point. I have had the crab stuffed jumbo shrimp and Marry Me Chicken, as well as the crab dip appetizer. I highly recommend them!”

“The food was probably the worst I've ever seen at a buffet. my wife is currently sick in the bathroom, im probably not far behind her. Only a few items were edible and now we are regretting them as well. Staff was average, building is beautiful. Do not eat the food. There is also a water warning from the DEP. Do not drink, freeze, boil or let water stand. the food is sitting over steam trays. They only post the warning sign in the bathroom. Wonder why. good luck eating there.”

“What a wonderful find this restaurant was. We were hungry & tired after a long day driving & our server, Bryan, made us feel right at home. The food was fabulous & a step above regular BBQ. Delicious margaritas & to die for crispy glazed brussel sprouts & hush puppies with chipolte sauce were all professionally served by Bryan. Add on great beef brisket and you have a restaurant worthy of 5 stars. We will stop again next time we are in the area.”

“We had our first visit on 1/11/25, it definitely will NOT, be our last! My husband never had crepes, he is now a huge fan! Everything was amazing, I got the Spiced Chai Tea with the Strawberries and Cream Crepe. It was so big I couldn't finish. My husband got a coffee and Little Piggy Crepe, he's in love and already planning a day trip just to go to The Cottage Creperie! You gals Rock !”

“A great little place to get out of the heat and have a great bite to eat. It’s so hot out today and the cold Club Sandwich was perfect! Sierra our server was prompt and kept checking back on the 3 of us, our granddaughter said her sandwich was delicious and my husband had the cheesesteak and pasta salad. The restaurant is really clean and sporty with baseball memories. Absolutely recommend it!”

“The restaurant was busy but the staff definitely kept up! Everyone was friendly. I ordered the shrimp basket with fries and it was delicious! Food came out fast and hot. The shrimp was juicy and pretty good size. The fries were amazing as well. So thankful they had sweet tea! If I ever get to come back out this way I'm eating here again!”

“Best pizza ever. I drive 35 minutes one way just to get this pizza. The pizza has a sweet sauce that tastes so good and is different from you Normal hum drum pizza. If you are looking for something different and delicious, look no further.”

We walked into DQ on York Rd and they produced a beautiful “duck” cake on short notice. Special thanks to John and the young male server. They both went out of their way to help save the day”

“The place is in a laundromat with limited seating. The food is amazing though, it's definitely one of those places where the food is elevated above it's atmosphere. Highly recommend but be warned, they aren't playing around when it comes to the spice. My favorite is the tacos or the spicy fried fish.”

“love this place! I go to the one in biglerville. they have the best breads and pastries and now pizza. I've loved everything they had there so far they even used to offer affogatos with some sort of praline Carmel diamonds (at the Gettysburg location). divine. love the handheld pies. the little apple tarts. those twisty cinnamon things. did I mention the bread?!? for a while we were just eating the bread with scrambled eggs every wknd cause the bread was that good. if you're in the area check them out!!!”

“We arrived at 10:30AM when they opened. After we ordered it took about 15 minutes for the pizzas to come out. Pizza was very good, both the Sicilian and the meat pizza. Atmosphere is casual and there is on site parking. I would eat here again.”

“I love this Rita’s because it’s so convenient but the past 2 times I’ve come here they’ve given me the wrong flavored ice and it’s upsetting because I keep spending money and get what I didn’t even order. I went tonight and the guy was working alone and very busy and I understand things happen, but I ordered root beer ice and got the cola ice, which was a treat for my dad who unfortunately didn’t like the cola (rightfully so as he was wanting root beer). Just disappointing.”

“I’m from out of town and just had my first visit here on 10/31/25. It was a Friday night around 5 o’clock and the entire place was packed! No empty seat anywhere, we were told there was only a 15 minute wait and I’m not sure we even had to wait that long. Our server Trey was awesome and got our drinks super quickly and our food came out in no time at all. The menu had such great options and the food was so good! Some of the best food I’ve had from a restaurant in a very long time. I highly recommend this place and am excited to try it again sometime!”

I also tried the Delmar fajitas, which were sizzling, tender, and packed with all the right spices. And I couldn’t resist finishing with the fried ice cream—crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and absolutely decadent.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made me feel right at home. If you’re in Gettysburg and craving authentic Mexican cuisine, Montezuma is a must-visit!”

“Myself, my partner & daughter stayed here for 2 nights in mid August 2025, It was an amazing experience and we also had paranormal activity while staying there . We came all the way from Ireland to visit Gettysburg. I would highly recommend staying and dining here. Eryn in the shop was so nice and she had Irish connections. We will 100% return .”

“Stopped on our way from Lancaster to West Virginia, this is a gem of a Coffee place and Café!! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was outstanding!! Highly recommend adding this to your trip if you are around the Gettysburg area, and the welcome center where the café is located is public and you can hang out there and do work or enjoy their Wi-Fi. Live music plays first Saturday at 11 AM, with a farmers market just outside the welcome center and Café.”

“First time there. Spilled a beer, staff quickly helped mop up and replaced the beer. The burgers were excellent, the chorizo/beef taco's a little light on the meat, but very good to the taste. Bought a 4 pack to take out. 3 in the party and we were all very pleased with the beer, food, and service.”

“The person I support through Penn-Mar Human Services loves coffee, so he created a tour of small business coffee shops. He said “Everything here is perfect! Their iced mocha & cannoli gets 5-stars!” He also wanted to note the friendly staff took a photo with him, they have fun decor, lots of delicious pastries, a large selection of iced, hot, & frozen beverages + food! The vibe is totally peaceful & friendly. Lots of items for sale from local authors, local artists, and other vendors. There is plenty of seating on two levels, an upstairs play area, and beautiful outdoor seating & tables. We’ll be back! Shout-out to Olivia, Piper, & Michelle for welcoming us for our first visit!”

“This place was fantastic. Stacy was very friendly and took great care of me. I had a steak and crab cake and everything was cooked to perfection. They were not busy and the inside is very quaint and comfortable, I suggest you you try it. The dessert was also yummy.”

My boyfriend and I were the youngest there by a long shot, but people were welcoming us in and having friendly conversations with us, which was awesome. Id recommend getting a flight first to decide what you like. I ended up liking just about every cider. The back porch was WARM even on a cold night. The live music was great too.”

“I drove an hour to Gettysburg yesterday frantic to get to Michael Kors to look for an exact same of purse of mine that had been stolen. I had been dealing with MK customer service which was 0 help and went to Clarksburg and all they said was sorry that happened to you but we don't have that purse. When I got to the Gettysburg MK outlet I was quickly greeted by all staff. I spotted my purse and was thrilled. when my friend told them what happened they were apologetic (they did not need to be) and they let me know that they were capable of calling store to store, checking inventory or shipping from another store to my house free of charge. Thank you Gettysburg MK staff for being so attentive and taking the time to make sure I got phenomenal customer service!!”

“I just picked up a pizza at Blessing. I ordered through DoorDash for pick up. App said 18-25 minutes. Within 5 minutes of placing the order, I got the notification that it was ready 🤔. Picked up my pizza and it was cold and undercooked. I love Blessing pizza. Hoping it was just an off night 🤷🏼‍♀️”

“5/16/2023 Just got back from Jersey Mikes with our delicious subs!!! Always perfect 👍🏻 They were very very busy getting a catering order ready and waiting on a long line of customers. All the staff workers were so very kind and patient with all the customers while they continued preparing orders! GREAT JOB!!”

“Went to dinner Sunday nite. Had a great server Stephanie. Good was good. When we were leaving we ask to speak to the manager on duty to tell her what a great server we had. The girl that had sat us came back and said the manager was to busy doing inventory but she told her the reason we wanted to see her. We believe in telling management when the have a good person working for them but obviously the manager needs to take lessons from her server! Very rude!”

THE FLOORS ARE FILTY AND BATHROOM NEEDS CLEANED EVERY TIME AND UPDATED W FRESH PAINT. EVERY TIME WE COME THE FLOORS ARE NOT SWEPT AND ARE IN FACT DIRTY.
