“Went to dinner Sunday nite. Had a great server Stephanie. Good was good. When we were leaving we ask to speak to the manager on duty to tell her what a great server we had. The girl that had sat us came back and said the manager was to busy doing inventory but she told her the reason we wanted to see her. We believe in telling management when the have a good person working for them but obviously the manager needs to take lessons from her server! Very rude!”

“Best burger I have had in my life! I ordered the Lincoln burger and it was cooked perfectly and flavorful! The truffle fries were amazing. Normally don’t order dessert but tried the pineapple upside down cake and it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely eat their again!”

“We had a most delicious lunch buffet today at The Barn. It was the first time for our party of 8. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the beautiful dining areas and the most delicious and fresh buffet! Everything was immaculate and plentiful. Our server, Leo was very attentive and we enjoyed him immensely. We will definitely be going back and bringing more friends. Thank you for bringing this beautiful barn back to life!!”

“What a wonderful find this restaurant was. We were hungry & tired after a long day driving & our server, Bryan, made us feel right at home. The food was fabulous & a step above regular BBQ. Delicious margaritas & to die for crispy glazed brussel sprouts & hush puppies with chipolte sauce were all professionally served by Bryan. Add on great beef brisket and you have a restaurant worthy of 5 stars. We will stop again next time we are in the area.”

The Apple Pie Ala Mode on the homemade Waffle Cone was such a decadent treat! If you’re in Gettysburg and craving a sweet treat - put it at the top of your list!!!”

“We had our first visit on 1/11/25, it definitely will NOT, be our last! My husband never had crepes, he is now a huge fan! Everything was amazing, I got the Spiced Chai Tea with the Strawberries and Cream Crepe. It was so big I couldn't finish. My husband got a coffee and Little Piggy Crepe, he's in love and already planning a day trip just to go to The Cottage Creperie! You gals Rock !”

“A great little place to get out of the heat and have a great bite to eat. It’s so hot out today and the cold Club Sandwich was perfect! Sierra our server was prompt and kept checking back on the 3 of us, our granddaughter said her sandwich was delicious and my husband had the cheesesteak and pasta salad. The restaurant is really clean and sporty with baseball memories. Absolutely recommend it!”

“The restaurant was busy but the staff definitely kept up! Everyone was friendly. I ordered the shrimp basket with fries and it was delicious! Food came out fast and hot. The shrimp was juicy and pretty good size. The fries were amazing as well. So thankful they had sweet tea! If I ever get to come back out this way I'm eating here again!”

The owner knows what’s up when it comes to making ice cream and creativity isn’t out of her reach when it comes to all the new flavors she keeps coming up with! The BEST ice cream I’ve EVER HAD!!! Nothing compares to half pint! Every flavor is true to its name with the taste!”

“Amazing find! We had Gettysburg Baking Co. on our list but didn’t realize they would be closed on Sunday. So I pulled up other bakeries and saw Sweeter than Sap and read her reviews! This is such a great bakery. Very clean, neat, organized, and of course smelled amazing when we walked in. We had some tough decisions to make! I got the tiramisu bites and baklava, my boyfriend got a brownie and cinnamon bun. The baklava was soooo delicious and the perfect balance of sweet and crunchy! Seriously, I wish I grabbed 3 more slices!”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving the day. My granddaughter loves ducks. Our original plans for a cupcake cake shaped as a duck was terribly botched by the bakery. We walked into DQ on York Rd and they produced a beautiful “duck” cake on short notice. Special thanks to John and the young male server. They both went out of their way to help save the day”

“love this place! I go to the one in biglerville. they have the best breads and pastries and now pizza. I've loved everything they had there so far they even used to offer affogatos with some sort of praline Carmel diamonds (at the Gettysburg location). divine. love the handheld pies. the little apple tarts. those twisty cinnamon things. did I mention the bread?!? for a while we were just eating the bread with scrambled eggs every wknd cause the bread was that good. if you're in the area check them out!!!”

“The place is in a laundromat with limited seating. The food is amazing though, it's definitely one of those places where the food is elevated above it's atmosphere. Highly recommend but be warned, they aren't playing around when it comes to the spice. My favorite is the tacos or the spicy fried fish.”

“Luis and Sandra are amazing people. I’ve been to Delisos Pizza several times—at least twice a month—and the service is always excellent. The atmosphere is great, and Luis really takes the time to get to know his customers. Whenever I see Sandra, she’s always helping out and making everyone feel welcome. They make a great team, and I truly love this pizza shop. Delisos is definitely the best pizza place in Gettysburg!”

“I’m from out of town and just had my first visit here on 10/31/25. It was a Friday night around 5 o’clock and the entire place was packed! No empty seat anywhere, we were told there was only a 15 minute wait and I’m not sure we even had to wait that long. Our server Trey was awesome and got our drinks super quickly and our food came out in no time at all. The menu had such great options and the food was so good! Some of the best food I’ve had from a restaurant in a very long time. I highly recommend this place and am excited to try it again sometime!”

“They don't sell alcohol, its BYOB. Service is super fast. Food was great, good portions too. The churros are the best you will ever have! I would almost go there just for that!
They don't have too many tables, we had an early dinner and left at around 6:15pm on a Monday and they were pretty much full. We were a little disappointed about them not having alcohol, but pleased when we found out later on that we can bring our own. Prices are reasonable. We will certainly be back.”

“Stopped into the outlets to see a couple different stores. This place was a pleasant surprise. Tried a few samples and they were all good. The Edible undies was delicious but I settled on the lemonade flavored bottle. It made for an interesting evening. Our party also bought the apple pie, watermelon and another one I don't remember. Everyone was delicious and worth the cost.”

“Stopped on our way from Lancaster to West Virginia, this is a gem of a Coffee place and Café!! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was outstanding!! Highly recommend adding this to your trip if you are around the Gettysburg area, and the welcome center where the café is located is public and you can hang out there and do work or enjoy their Wi-Fi. Live music plays first Saturday at 11 AM, with a farmers market just outside the welcome center and Café.”

“I drove an hour to Gettysburg yesterday frantic to get to Michael Kors to look for an exact same of purse of mine that had been stolen. I had been dealing with MK customer service which was 0 help and went to Clarksburg and all they said was sorry that happened to you but we don't have that purse. When I got to the Gettysburg MK outlet I was quickly greeted by all staff. I spotted my purse and was thrilled. when my friend told them what happened they were apologetic (they did not need to be) and they let me know that they were capable of calling store to store, checking inventory or shipping from another store to my house free of charge. Thank you Gettysburg MK staff for being so attentive and taking the time to make sure I got phenomenal customer service!!”

“The person I support through Penn-Mar Human Services loves coffee, so he created a tour of small business coffee shops. He said “Everything here is perfect! Their iced mocha & cannoli gets 5-stars!” He also wanted to note the friendly staff took a photo with him, they have fun decor, lots of delicious pastries, a large selection of iced, hot, & frozen beverages + food! The vibe is totally peaceful & friendly. Lots of items for sale from local authors, local artists, and other vendors. There is plenty of seating on two levels, an upstairs play area, and beautiful outdoor seating & tables. We’ll be back! Shout-out to Olivia, Piper, & Michelle for welcoming us for our first visit!”
