From the happy hour menu we had a party Burger which was amazing and then from small plates we had a party deviled eggs can strawberry and scallop gazpacho. Everything was wonderful.“

“I was super excited for this place, came for my husband’s birthday and after dinner my expectations weren’t met. We tried two of their daily specials, the smash burger was amazing!! We also got their prime rib sandwich and this was a miss. The price was a lot for being basically an overdone dry steak sandwich. The real kicker of the night was the service. We had Matt N. and he was not attentive and made us feel like we inconvenienced him. Honestly I will still recommend this place to my friends and family, but wish the service was just better for a special occasion.“

“We stumbled upon Pearl's looking for someplace place to go after we saw our original destination was closed. I am so glad we did. The owner found us a table himself. The service was top notch starting with the owner Shawn and shop out to our awesome waitress Ariana. I ordered the smash burger and it was so delicious I ordered another one. Drinks were good and not overpriced. Highly recommend and we will be returning.“

“Ok a time was had!
I showed up to my first ever open mic. Without any back up or support. Straight after work still in a suit and I was so nervous! But sat next to people I just met, we'll I was early sonce I came straight from work still wearing a suit, and they were pleasant hospital regulars. The drinks were great the features were great and I enjoyed it so much. I will be back for another go!“

It's really noisy and space is tight, and every once in a while I meet someone new for an interesting conversation. And it's just fine with everyone if I roll up with my New Yorker magazine for a quick bite on the way home!“

“I didn’t even know it was open as I walked but until a patron said you should go in for a drink. I was very glad I did. If you are not put off by the fact this is primarily a local spot for folks from the neighbourhood then the other patrons and staff was friendly. Beer was $2.50 a bottle and a shot of Hennessy was $5. The shots look small to the eye but are measured with their auto dosing system. A great value night cap on the way back to my hotel.“

“I visited 2/22/26 Do not listen to any reviews but THIS ONE!!! I was so skeptical to visit after reading the reviews, I decided to go in person and check everything out for myself. The inside was very clean. The service was outstanding, I was greeted, sat and offered water Immediately for take out! I ordered half cheese with basil and the other side was Magic mushroom, it totaled $21 (pricey where) This by far was top pizza I’ve ever had in Philly and I know pizza, I lived in NYC!!! this place set the bar!! I mean perfect crust, the sauce was flavorful with the right amount and the cheese was so rich and cheesy! I went back three days later to confirm it was really that good and consistent…new chef, same great pizza!! I had to leave a review because I don’t know what these people are talking about and I need this place to stay open because IT’S THAT GOOOOD!!! This is an honest review! “Nice little spot, with nice energy. It can be a little tight inside, but given the shape of the building, it's to be expected. Though some people say the portions are small, I felt they were adequate and not dissimilar to say Bastia. I'm not a huge oyster person, but the recommendations were very good, especially paired with the zhug. Everyone we interacted with was lovely, but we were especially appreciative of Jordan, who gave us the majority of our recommendations.

“A fun, unique experience for quick bite/drink or to sit down and have a full meal at. Sandwich portions were generous - just remember they put the fries in the sandwich (at least for the one I ordered). The mixed drinks were delicious and creative. The menu itself is not large, but enough to cover the basis in terms of vegetarians and some other restrictions.

The atmosphere make this a fun and unique place to be, even though it can be both intimate and loud at same time. I would visit again.“

“5 Stars!!! Most authentic Napoletana Pizza found this side of the pond! The starter dough was brought over from Naples,IT. The oven from Italy. If you’re in Philly, you must go and taste for yourself. I lived in Naples, Italy for over 5 years…Chefs Joe & Angela nailed it again. Oh and if you haven’t tried their restaurant, Cicala, is right across the hall in the historic divine Lorraine hotel. 5 stars!!!“
