You still have to pay the tax based on the list price of your food choices as well as a 20% gratuity but that’s a considerable discount. But even with that type of incentive the food is so amazing you’re gonna want to pay something. This restaurant is great for vegetarian vegan dining and seafood dining. Great vibes.“

“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

We felt like we were part of the action, but even more so, apart of the family. The hospitality was top tier and the crowd was just as welcoming. The drinks were crafted with finesse and whimsy. A favorite of ours was the “Demons in the Dugout”. The crew was incredibly personable and even remembered us when we came back the next night to celebrate some more. I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Pearls on the Corner in Fishtown! We chose Pearls to host my 30th birthday celebration and surprise proposal, and from start to finish, they went above and beyond in every possible way. What could have simply been a night out turned into one of the most unforgettable and meaningful nights of my life.

From the very beginning, their team was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our celebration special. They didn’t just host our event — they helped bring our vision to life. Every little detail was thoughtfully considered, and you could truly tell how much care and effort went into making the night perfect.

The personalization was absolutely incredible. They went out of their way to make everything feel like it was created specifically for us, from the atmosphere and setup to the drinks and cocktails. The cocktails were AMAZING, and having personalized drinks made the celebration feel even more intimate and special. Every detail felt intentional and elevated.

What impressed me most was how willing they were to go the extra mile. There were so many moving parts between a 30th birthday celebration and a surprise proposal, and they handled everything with such professionalism, flexibility, and enthusiasm. They were there for every little detail and truly did everything and more to make sure the night went smoothly.

And the best part? Our guests were absolutely blown away. Everyone kept talking about how beautiful the space was, how amazing the drinks were, how wonderful the staff was, and how much fun they had. Seeing everyone I love having such an incredible time made the night even more special.

A surprise proposal is something you only get to experience once, and I am so grateful that Pearls on the Corner was part of such an important moment in our lives. They helped create memories that we will genuinely cherish forever.

If you are looking for a place in Fishtown to host a birthday, engagement, private event, or honestly any celebration at all, I cannot recommend Pearls on the Corner enough. Their attention to detail, hospitality, creativity, drinks, atmosphere, and willingness to go above and beyond are unmatched.

“I didn't realize I've never left a review but my husband and I have been coming here regularly for over 4 years. There are baristas that have been here for that long and are amazing. They are so so nice. I've been coming here with my newborn and now she'll be four and they truly embody the concept of a third space for everyone including rambunctious toddlers. They have never made us feel less welcome for our child being a child and have always made us and our children feel welcome no matter what. The coffee/barista talent speaks for itself, we have definitely been to hundreds, if not thousands, of coffee shops around the world between the two of us and definitely we always compare it to this gem! They have really cool events as well I've been to a couple of poetry nights. I don't drink alcohol but it being open late makes it a great place to have an evening tea or read a book in a different evening atmosphere.“

Sandwich portions were generous - just remember they put the fries in the sandwich (at least for the one I ordered). The mixed drinks were delicious and creative. “We decided to drop into this East Falls restaurant for Sunday brunch, and we're so glad we did. My husband ordered the heuves chorizo and I ordered the Cresta Omelet. Both were delicious!! My husband also asked for poblano pepper in his, and they accommodated his request. The restaurant is warm and inviting with exposed brick. Prices are very reasonable and the servings were generous. Management was super welcoming, and our server, Anna, was awesome. We will definitely be back!!“

“honestly we almost walked past this place but im so glad we didnt stop. the vibe inside is like nothing else in ambler, really comfortable and chill. i got the burger and it was juicy, came out hot and the fries were crispy just how i like them. my friend had the salmon and she kept saying how fresh it tasted. the person behind the bar was super nice and checked on us a few times. whole meal felt easy and good without being stuffy. definitely coming back next time im in town.“
