“Today, had lunch at The First Post in York, PA. The place is nice and spacious, located on East Market Street. Our party of four shared a ravioli appetizer and had French Onion soup. Both were delicious!!! Easily the best French Onion soup I've eaten!!! For lunch, we each had something different. My Aunt had Salmon Salad. My wife had The Post Steak Sandwich with fries. Our son had the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. I settled for.the Fish & Chips!! Each of us loved our meals - taking at least half home!! The portions were enormous!!! To wrap up, we decided on some dessert. My Aunt and wife had the Creme Brulee. My son and I had the Chocolate Reese Cake Tort. So good!!!! Service was phenomenal!! If in the York, PA area, you MUST stop in and eat up!!!“

“We visited Bullies Saturday evening, 4/9. For starters I had the mussels. Absolutely delicious. I'd go back just for them. My wife had bacon wrapped scallops. They were really good, also. For entrees I had the Kona tenderloin steak. It was perfectly cooked and fork tender. My only issue, it came out barely luke warm. Same for my French fries. I'd call them cold. The roasted brussel sprouts, which I was really anticipating, were tasty, but all but burned and only luke warm. Though I should have said something to the server, I didn't. My bad. My wife's meal, beef tenderloin tips, were perfectly cooked, hot and fork tender, with mushroom and onion gravy. They were on a bed of rice. Dessert was creme brulee and NY cheesecake. Both were very good. I was disappointed with the cheesecake slice, being about half the size of what I consider a normal sized slice. All in all, a tasty meal. I'd return, but in the future insist on a HOT meal, not luke warm.“

“Went on a busy Friday night but hostess was able to accommodate myself and two daughters. I was in a rush and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of service by the wait staff and kitchen. Everyone was pleasant, food was excellent (kids had burgers and fries and I had the chicken sandwich). Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!“

“Our son's wedding reception was held here, and it was our first time visiting. I was being a bit nosy about the basement when a gentleman who worked there noticed and kindly asked if we’d like to take a peek. Thank you again — that small gesture showed how much you care about your visitors’ experience. During the reception, a family with three young kids started to get a little bored. That same gentleman came out with a basket of brand-new Matchbox cars and gave each child one. Wow! What a thoughtful and above-and-beyond thing to do. The authenticy from the people to the place sent me in overload of nostalgia reminiscing from when my Nanny was alive & visiting her and being in her kitchen (she had same type of tables and older kitchen gadgets, right down to the whiskey container's too) with her cooking breakfast. “We visited this location on 4/4/2026. We decided to eat here since it's close to.the college my son attends. This was our first time ever eating at Cheddar's. The food and service was excellent. My son loved the Buffalo chicken wraps. My daughter got the tender meal but only at the fries, because she ate some of my wife's steak. Normally we have to find a place that serves lamb for her to eat something other than tenders when we go out.“

“The place has a very unique look and feel but the staff was welcoming.

There is street parking but we later saw a parking lot around the other side of the building. It probably would have been easier to park in the lot. The street was fairly crowded.

The bartender was working both the bar and the dining room and she was super busy but she checked on us a few times and we never really found ourselves waiting too long for anything.

The dining room was separated from the bar area so that's good.

This was our first time here.

We showed up for the wings which are top notch. Super saucy, cooked well, and tasty.

The cowboy fries where a table favorite. Boardwalk style fries with shaved beef, brown gravy, and cheese.

The buffalo fried shrimp a table favorite. Simple... Fried shrimp covered in buffalo sauce.

Very good beer battered onion rings. Not that bread crumb crappy stuff.

We had a party of 4 and everyone was happy with the food and the cocktails.

No complaining from us about anything. We will return for food some time again in the future.“

“We come all the way from Massachusetts and always stop for ice cream and breakfast! The food is always so delicious and of course the ice cream! The staff is so nice and we love seeing them every year! We even get the best souvenirs to bring home! Johnny is hilarious and always so fun to have as our waiter! “We went on 2/8/25. Staying at the Hampton inn for a dance comp. Our waiter, unfortunately l, didn’t catch his name was absolutely AMAZING! More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. He just really went above and beyond and was amazing! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! Thank you again! Food and drinks were 10/10!“

I would tell you if you are looking for great food and a place go to Alley Oops Sports Bar & Grill is where to go. Got the backfin crab cakes... on point. Stuffed mushrooms...on point.
I'm a Baltimore native and this is the first time I can say I enjoyed the crab in PA.
Cole slaw how I like it.
Fries better quality light batter I 🤔 yummy.
Ate in the bar as the dining area opened later. I'm an Ex smoker with a vape on the ready just incase. It was too smokey in the bar but I'll plan better and eat in the dining room which is non-smoking in the future.
Service was a bit slow.I felt like I had to ask for my Guinness expected it quicker. The server was young and scrambling so...it happens, otherwise she was on point :)

“Arrived in town for a short stay from Florida. The minute we arrived we were greeted by professional and young college kids at the hostess stand. We waited for 10 minutes while our table was assigned. Perfect table on the terrace facing the 18th hole. Sarah our hostess from Penn state was a joy to get to know. We all ordered from the huge menu selection and couldnt decide what to order. We saw The table next to us and the presentation looked amazing. We finally ordered steaks and salmon as our meal with delicious drinks. Perfect Saturday night at a great venue in York Pa. Keep up the great work Shaun Conway and your team. We will be back. “My experience at Longhorn Steakhouse was the best we've had without a doubt. There was no wait so we were seated right away and the booth was large and clean.

Trista attended to our table promptly and so thoroughly that we didn't have to ask for anything additional.

Usually we have to ask for additional napkins for our kids, A1 Sauce for my daughter's steak, sometimes we have to ask for the bread, but with Trista, she was on top of all of this without even being asked. She was very comprehensive in the service she provided and expertly anticipated our needs.

I would consider this one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in recent memory and would love to visit again to receive the same experience.“

“This was my first time in here but many people have told me I need to try it. I came specifically for the boneless wings, they were everything I had hoped and were told! It took me a second to figure out the ordering protocol but to be fair my blood sugar was crashing as I walked in the door so that was on me. I will definitely be back, I was spying on the people next to me eating burgers they look delicious so we will have to find that out later.

You are allowed to smoke in the bar, so if cigarettes bother you, it's probably not the place to go for you. You can take your drinks into the bowling alley and play a few games while you drink! I always have a good time there.“
