“Counter staff could be much friendlier. The lady checking out customers was VERY short tempered and impatient when my family and others were ordering. We were only giving our orders like normal, nothing slow about the order, so to be rushed and so rudely dealt with was un called for. Other people in line were commenting on how rude she was, so on a funnier note, we all were joining in on the eye rolls and head shakes.I normally only leave positive reviews for businesses, as I understand how difficult it is working with the public, but this lady was truly incorrigible.“

Years ago, you would make chocolate chips in-house, especially for the Cappuccino Chocolate Chunk custard. They seem to be premade chunks now, or at least very different from the old ones. “Yummy! While on our June summer road trip with our kids, we were in the mood for something sweet and decided to try out The Meadows for their famous custard. We were not disappointed! The building is very welcoming from the outside. All painted with ice cream cones and Adirondack chairs sitting around. In the front, you have tables where you can sit outside and enjoy the air. Inside you have tables and chairs in a brightly painted, cheerful room. There is also a life-size connect 4 game where the kids can play. My son and I enjoyed a game while eating our custard. It was a busy day, but the workers did great. They were very friendly. We all went for the original vanilla and we’re very impressed. I loved my waffle cone! It was a very hot day and these definitely hit the spot! Highly recommend! Good for kids! Boosters and high chairs available. *Wheelchair accessible entrance, seating, parking lot and restroom. “I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.“
