“Tried a few dishes here and overall it was a decent experience with some clear hits and misses.
We probably overordered, but that also showed the portions are generous and the value for money is actually pretty good.
We started with the salad, which was fresh and well-prepared—simple but good.
The seafood bisque was enjoyable, though it leaned heavily toward fish and lacked a mix of other seafood, which would’ve made it more interesting. The seafood soup, on the other hand, was just okay—it definitely needed more depth and seasoning.
For appetizers, the fried shrimp and fried calamari were both decent, nothing special, but the dipping sauce with the calamari stood out and elevated the dish a bit.
The grilled octopus was a miss—it lacked flavor and tasted like it had been previously frozen, which took away from the texture and overall experience.
For mains, the Singari sea bass was solid—the fish tasted fresh and was cooked well overall.
The clear winner, though, was the butterfly shrimp. It was buttery, perfectly grilled, and packed with flavor—easily the standout dish of the meal.
Overall, a mixed experience but worth it for the butterfly shrimp alone.“

“This is my go to spot when I have a taste for some wings and fries and their shrimp platter is good too. I have never had a bad situation. And I am there at least once every other week. Highly recommend to call First before going in if you can get through.“
“This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere made me feel like I was at home. There were a group of patrons at the bar who spoke to us when we entered letting me know this was neighborhood and friendly place. Carrie the bartender/waitress was absolutely amazing. The menu had an array of different seafood dishes. I got a large size of crab legs that were so fresh, my husband got the crab bites, fried fish, and carrot cake also absolutely delicious. The price was very affordable with our order and drinks and a couple of take out items that we wanted to take home to try that definitely makes this place a return visit. Even if not to eat but to enjoy happy hour with the friendly people of the 152.“

“Our first time at Blue Olive was to celebrate a birthday and it didn't disappoint. The fusion of Mediterranean/Tunisian/Greek food was nothing short if spectacular. The service was incredibly friendly and gracious and the ambiance charming. We started with hot appetizers of roasted artichokes, pan fried Halloumi cheese, Spanakopita and an evening special hummus with spiced, minced lamb served with warm pita. All so delicious we were tempted to forego our main courses of moussaka, lamb kebab and delicious lemon/caper cod served over a bed of roasted root vegetable. Desserts, celebrated with a happy birthday candle on a scrumptious chocolate/hazelnut cake , walnut baklava and Turkish coffee made the evening complete. This BYOB gem is a culinary find and we will be going back soon.“

“I had a graduation dinner for my daughter on Saturday, May 16, 2026. We had the upstairs room with approximately 50 people. The food was delicious. The service was superb. We had Mario, Marissa, and Jose with a few other helpers. The staff was amazing. I worked with Tony to set all this up and he was amazing to work with as well. everybody loved their dinners and many people said they will be back to eat again! Thank you for making a memorable and delicious graduation dinner! You guys rock!“
