“This is my review from Yelp for the new CASTLE SHANNON LOCATION. The pizza pops! I mean that in a great way and wanted to start the review out by saying so. I was excited when I saw the 'coming soon' sign. I've never had their pizza before but looking at the website, the pictures were enticing. I even called the number for the CS location. I got Greg who was in there doing last minute stuff. He told me when they were opening, he was really nice about it. So let's get to the pizza, shall we? It's square. The crust is light, crispy and flavorful. The sauce is ZEE best (See how I did that there). I love square pizza and I go to other areas to get it because we haven't had good square pizza since Jim's back in the early 90s. Now we have Jimmy Z's and I couldn't be more thrilled. Having grown up in the city, it was a staple and a treat to go to another pizza place. I won't say the name, but it sounds like Leedos. Where they have square pizza and cold cheese on top. I would go there despite the numerous times they were out of pizza (Yep no lie) and the staff just needs to attend "Sunshine is Us' school of customer service. But I put moody teens aside and trudged there. Now, no more. I don't have to. I get better pizza from Jimmy Z's and ... and I get service with a smile. They are so polite and welcoming. I also tried one of their Zoagies. If you get one, get it with everything. They're absolutely ZEElicous. When I find a place I like, I am like an old faithful dog. These people are gonna get tired of me.“

“Stopped by today for lunch. Was VERY impressed. Im very picky about my tacos and prefer the more authentic ones. This place NAILED it! I also got the tamale they had on special, again the NAILED it! Tamales that good should make the regular menu or just have them as a weekly 2 day special. The service was excellent as well. The hot salsa she provided lived up to the "hot" end of things for sure. 10/10 recommend this place! Would love to see lingua on the menu as well as beef cheek tacos! Im not a small guy, but 2 tacos and 1 tamale filled me up pretty well.“

“We love it and I compare all other restaurants to Roland’s. I normally don’t like marinara, but I love Roland’s and their Special Roland’s sauce is primo good. The desserts are top notch. I’ve not tried the pizza yet because I’m obsessed with every entree I’ve had. The Italian hoagie is very good. Is that homemade roll? It’s that good. I enjoy the rustic interior too.“

“Great food, fantastic service. Ask for James, who is a joy, knowledgeable and provides top tier level service. GET THE CORNBREAD. Seriously, everything was delicious. My mom’s blackened salmon with the pear/walnut salad was perfect. The gumbo rivaled any gumbo I’ve had in NOLA. A stole a bite of my sister’s molasses baked beans and the apple cider slaw…soooo good. Cant wait to go back and try other items on the menu.“

“I wanted to give a shout out to the staff at Recon. We had a get together there to visit my daughter and her children while they were in town. I originally thought we would have 20 people, but it was more like 25. We are a big, noisy family and they were wonderful! The food and drinks were amazing! Our waitress, Morgan, was exceptional! Thank you for a fun day!!“

“Lovely spot for lunch or dinner. Large bar in the middle of the room and several tabs with various sports and news available.

Staff were virtuous and friendly with refill drinks brought out without our asking. However, both the greeter and the sever didn’t seem particularly eager or happy to be there. Not a big deal but not worth 4-5 stars either.

Try the PB Reuben it’s a good size (you won’t need a side) and delicious. The spicy Mustard brings it all together!

Other ‘bar food’ available including specialty sandwiches (this is why you come here), burgers, fries, pizza, chicken, quesadillas, etc. Everything we had was good.

Beer on tap and in bottles (or as a 100oz tower thing!).“

“I make smoothies at home all the time but occasionally stop at Smoothie King for one of theirs. Had a Blueberry Heaven recently and it was wonderful! The employee was kind and the service was quick. I recommend stopping by and picking up a smoothie of your choice--your body will thank you for fueling it with such tasty and healthy nutrition!“

We are so glad that LJS has returned to Washington, PA.“

“The owner Brian is awesome! He was always very nice and was able to snag me some Dogfish 120 min IPAs when no other beer shop I have been to would help me. I used to go to McMurray distributor but not anymore now that I found this place. Much better prices as well. Would highly recommend!“

“My High School Reunion was held here. It was wonderful! The restaurant was very warmly decorated, the pizza & wings were delicious & the staff was friendly, professional & knowledgeable about both the food & the drinks. I'm a fan of dark beer, but being Summer, many places don't have any dark beer in tap. This place had several & when asked about them, the bartender was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend this place!“

“Had never eaten at a Popeyes before. Ordered 2pc spicy chicken and Cajun fries. Was given all dark meat. The spicy was good, but expected a mix of dark and white. The fries didn't impress me much, BUT the guy at the counter was very helpful and helped me with the menu.“
