“this has become my wife and I's favorite Italian restaurant in the South Hills. portions are huge. Food is absolutely delicious. Quick warning though if you order the stuffed hot peppers they will be HOT. They're absolutely delicious though!“

“I absolutely recommend Fellini’s! DoorDash mixed up the orders between two customers and gave my family the wrong one. Tom, the GM, took care of everything for both us and the other customer. He was awesome and handled the issue right away! We couldn’t have asked for a better customer service experience working directly with Fellini’s! “A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

“We were there on Saturday at 4pm. Parking lot already had at least 1/2 dozen cars. Did not have reservation so decided to eat at bar. I have never eaten at bar seating before so I wasn’t sure if I would like it. Let me tell you, it was so enjoyable! The bar was completely full within 15 minutes and the bartender was awesome. “We came here for dinner on a Friday night in August. We were traveling and checked the map for something that was close and looked good. The menu looked good and I liked the name because I have seen the Godfather a bunch of times but I was a little hesitant at first because it was in a strip mall.

We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by a bartender who gave us menus and took our drink order. She gave a little time to decide on meals and then out that order in for us. We ordered the calamari to share and we wanted to split the shrimp scampi as well. There weren’t too many people on the bar side. I couldn’t see the dining room area. There are couple Godfather posters which was cool.

The food came out shortly after ordering and the kitchen was able to split the pasta for us which we appreciated because we know how messy it can get at the bar when we try to do that ourselves with pasta. We were grateful they could do that - some places won’t. The calamari was very good. They pasta was good. I wish it would have had a little bit of lemon in it to make the garlic more pronounced but that’s just my preference.

The bartender was friendly and attentive. She seemed to have good rapport with the other customers who maybe were regulars. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual.

They have a lottery machine. We weee hoping to get a winning powerball ticket that night but the machine was offline. Oh well.

Prices were comparable to other similar places we go at home. Parking was easy - since it’s in the strip mall it shares a big lot with surrounding businesses.

“This is the perfect Italian restaurant, in my opinion. I will say this is my first time here. The food is excellent and the sauces are some of the best I have ever tasted. Veal Piacquadio & Veal Marsala were so flavorful and cooked exactly right. The side pasta (rigatoni and gravy) is normally pretty bland, but not this one. Once again, the sauce was fantastic. The service is exactly what I like, informal, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is a neighborhood Italian joint, which is perfect for me. I'm not one for stuffiness, but fun and friendly. “Really a quite incredible restaurant! Came here with my grandmother. It was extremely quiet and formal. Very easy to make conversation. Our server was very kind to us, and making sure all of our food was always quality and refilling drinks. Soup and salad served as appetizers were delicious, as well as our entrees. “Stumbled upon Albero Verde, when looking for a fine dining restaurant for our Anniversary that wasn't $50-100/ plate and was more accessible than downtown Pittsburgh....Albero Verde, did NOT disappoint. The owner and Chef, Anthony Pupo, introduced himself while delivering a small, unique tasting of a wonton with a twist. This small but mighty restaurant provided top notch service, an intimate dining experience, good music, the option of BYOB, and the FOOD was too die for. The wonderful waitress suggested that we split the Wedge salad, and I appreciated the suggestion as 1 was plenty for 2 people...but when she brought it out, they had plated it on 2 seperate plates for us, taking away the hassle of dividing the dish ourselves at the table. We then had the Octopus and Beans and Greens appetizers.... both delicious. For our main course, we had the Fran and Fudge (named after the Chef's grandparents) a HEALTHY sized bone in porkchop with brie and goat cheese pierogi and the Scallop and Langoustine Spaghetti... both excellent! For dessert we had the Pomegranate Semifreddo, a refreshing frozen yogurt and a mini chocolate cannoli. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Chef, for a lovely and tasty evening.“

“We sat on the outdoor covered patio on a perfect day. It was great! Thin crust pizza was very good and not greasy crust! We had sausage and zucchini pizza. It was excellent. Sauce is a little spicy but delicious! Debbie our server was so nice and helpful!“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches.
