“I spent $40 because of delivery, but I also got a huge sandwich to share for two people and a 32 oz drink. Whenever I say I’m craving a sub, the (plain bread) Godfather is THE sub for me. It’s so freaking delicious. The first bite had me thinking this is the best sub I’ve had in a LONG TIME. I’m definitely going to stop in sometime (to save money) & try their subs in person.“

“Absolutely unique small restaurant in Pittsburgh. I think they have the best submarine type sandwiches among other things in the city. Their outdoor tables are different, because it's a tiny restaurant. For six of us it was great eating outside. The restaurant is fast, convenient and the food is delicious and reasonable.

Vegetarian options: I get the shadyside hoagie it's all veggies. I'm actually a meat eater but I love the shadyside.“

“I am so sad that they have closed. This was at least a weekly dinner for my family as my fiancé and I both work and live very close. The workers were given no notice, so the customers didn't get any notice either. We just happened to have a friend who got lunch that day and we found out from them. Yes, it was an old building and yes it wasn't "eat in" anymore, but it's sad for those of us who were frequent, loyal customers. The employees had been there for years, knew the customers and their orders and it was a close-knit crew. We heard that the building will likely be torn down and made into (another) strip mall. Disappointing. Shame on you, Peppi's.“

After enjoying delicious made-in-house beef in the Allegheny Omelete served alongside potatoes (with the perfect amount of salt) and a side of horseradish sauce along with an order of fluffy scrambled eggs with made-in house-turkey, we deemed it one of the best breakfasts around! “We haven't been to this location in years. Came in this Sunday and it was busy. (A large group of 6 or 7 adults plus kids before us, and another one after us.) Only one person working. I think his nametag said "Twig" which was unusual, but the food prep area was clean, he was quick and professional and I even saw him change his gloves. When the sub he was making for me got a bit wet he took the time to wrap it again in a new paper which I appreciated. (We were taking the subs hiking.) Totally solid experience from a rockstar and I hope management of the store appreciates what a great employee they've got. We were having a rough day so having a good experience for lunch turned it around. We'll be back.“

“The strip to Subway was a very good experience. There was only one person in front of us so we didn't have to wait in line long and the food was delicious. The folks working behind the counter I'll send friendly and in pretty good spirits which reflects in the experience“

On the right door the arrows point to the door on the left & on the left window the arrows point to the in the middle of all the arrows. This makes one think that the door on the left is the one to reach for. It's not! The door on the left with all the arrows pointing to it is locked! The door on the right is the open one.Who did these decals? I need them to make this make sense to me because... Why? I mean it's not a reason to not go there but still I'm looking at 4 giant arrows pointing to open this door and that door is locked and it's actually the other door that's unlocked. Ridiculous.“

Vegetarian options: I think they only have one veggie sub and maybe salads... My brother's a vegetarian and he enjoyed his sub

Parking: It's in a strip mall - type plaza with a shared lot. Plenty spots.

Kid-friendliness: It's a sub joint, about as kid friendly as it gets. Plenty of room for strollers too.“

“I stopped going to Subway a few years ago because of quality was terrible. A couple of years ago I moved and was very close to this location in Westview plaza. I don't know if it is just this location or all subways have stepped up their game but I have never gotten a bad meal at this place!
Everything is fresh and it fills me up. The best part is I order through the app and they always have at least buy one get a second for 50% off and run a buy one get one free promotion very frequently. Currently they are doing the buy one get one free promotion and I have gone there three times in the last 5 days. All three times the food was delicious and did not take long to get. I highly recommend this place.“

“I lived just up the road from this subway for the first 10 years of my life, the man behind the counter who I believe is the one you guys now call lucky is the most amazing person I’ve ever met in a subway and quite possibly any restaurant I’ve ever been to. I went in at least twice a week for 6-7 years and every time he knew my order, sometimes even giving double meat or cheese without asking. Love that man with all my heart and want him to know I’ll be back someday for my tuna sub!“
