“This was my first time going here to eat ?. The menu has a alot of options for your appetite ?. It took me at least 2 times to really decide what to eat with out changing my mind. When I finally decided, the food was hot, fresh, seasoned. I wanted to get more but they were about to wrap and close .lol So next time I come to your restaurant I will make sure to order 2 orders of the STEAK ROLLS with blue cheese dressing. Yummmmmm. “I think I paid more than $5 for two slices of plain pizza before going to the Cure cover band show across the street it does seem like a nice neighborhood place families are eating here other people before they go enjoy the music Pizza is all right... “A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere“

“My friend and I met for dinner and had a delightful experience. Our server was personable and very knowledgeable on the menu. I chose the flatbread which was incredibly flavorful and filling and she chose the roasted chicken with purple carrots. It was also very delicious. I would definitely recommend trying this place out and I will definitely get back here in the near future.

Vegetarian options: There were lots of items on the menu marked vegetarian. It is easy to get a meatless option here.

“Hadn’t been here for dinner in a while and decided to bring my mom for her birthday. The dining area is quite small so I would recommend a reservation! We were seated and greeted promptly. I started with a cocktail which was tasty. For starters, we ordered the focaccia, sformato, and the arancini. The focaccia and arancini were good, but the sformato was the standout. Would definitely recommend ordering if you’re there for the spring menu. For entrees, I had the bolognese bianco which was delicious and just the right amount of richness. My mom had the lamb orecchiette which she said she enjoyed. For dessert, we shared the rosemary hazelnut pana cotta, it was just the right amount of sweetness and something unique. Overall a great meal.“

“We were there on Saturday at 4pm. Parking lot already had at least 1/2 dozen cars. Did not have reservation so decided to eat at bar. I have never eaten at bar seating before so I wasn’t sure if I would like it. Let me tell you, it was so enjoyable! The bar was completely full within 15 minutes and the bartender was awesome. She was so friendly and competent. Complete pro!! No one was ever waiting for anything! Food was delicious. I will definitely sit at this bar and eat anytime.“

“Honestly the meatballs here are worth the visit alone - I've never had meatballs that tasted complex, so rich and interesting. Everything was fantastic, their wine menu is superb, the cool atmosphere with the wall of plants - I'm definitely coming back here to try the chicken parm. I had the arctic char as my main and it was delicious, perfectly cooked, just the right amount of food. Also tried the Calabrian pesto, which was A+. Rich, nutty interesting.“

“my boyfriend and i tried pelegrino’s after we got sent a menu from them in the mail. we each got a pizza, and the cost was INCREDIBLY lower than the other pizza places we’ve ordered from. they deliver as well, which is nice. what i also appreciate about pelegrino’s is the option for online ordering, which allows me to pay & tip so i don’t have to fumble whenever the delivery comes. it takes some time, but it’s always worth the wait; we’ve never been disappointed!! this is our go to pizza spot!!“

“We have been going to Piccolo Forno for years. It is my favorite restaurant. The staff is outstanding. The food is creative and menu items are changed regularly to make use of seasonal ingredients. There are so many delicious choices on the menu that it is difficult to decide what to order. The food is reasonably priced and the corkage fee is less than most restaurants. This restaurant is a gem for anyone who loves delicious Italian food!“

“We have gone twice nice- Sooooo Good. The owners are the ones cooking! Joe is a master of the pizza oven. The toppings are perfectly mixed and heated to melt together and the flat bread crust technique should be studied by children!!! It’s BYOB which makes it a reasonable high-end dinner with a clean atmosphere and friendly staff. I cannot recommend it enough!!!“

“Our server was just bizarre. Running around like a chicken with her head cut off. She was forgetting things and screwing things up. She would basically run away while we were still talking to her. This was 7pm on a Saturday. After forgetting my soup, I was eventually brought an incredibly messy bowl, as if the soup was literally thrown into the bowl. She would say she was going to get us refills and then come back without refills. She did package our leftovers which was nice of her and offer us more bread.“

“We order takeout from Armstrongs Express quite often and it’s always consistently good! My husband loves their wings. We’ve tried a lot of items on the menu and are always satisfied and full. The staff is so friendly and kind!! I also love that they have a few parking spots reserved for takeout costumers since that parking lot can get busy. Only downside is that they are closed on Sundays when we often want to order takeout“

“I moved to Pittsburgh about two years ago from New Jersey for my studies. I ended up living around the corner from this place for about a year before moving to Shadyside. This place has consistently had great food, and has always felt like a reliable choice for take out. My friends and I have gotten their pizza, gluten free pizza, cheesy bread, and their wings. We would recommend all of those food items :)

“First of all I want to say my family and I absolutely love Pasta Too. Raymond runs a fine establishment and before today we have never had an issue. Today however our server completely ruined our experience at Pasta Too. Ca***e, our server acted like every request we had was a chore. She was ignorant and made both my family and I feel like a bother. I’m not sure if this is common with her but we have never had such a terrible dinning experience. Especially at Pasta Too. Other than that the food and every single other server we’ve dined with there has been incredible. We will be back. But we will request anyone but her as a server.“

“Excellent all around. We travel around the east coast for football a bit and always seem to hit an olive garden when we go away. This one has been one of the best we've been at! Service was fast, food delicious, waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was excellent!“
