“Core de Roma has been our favorite Italian restaurant in the Philadelphia area since we discovered their original location in West Chester 8 years ago. We were sad when they had to close their West Chester location! Now that they're in Belmont Hills they're a little harder to get to but SO worth the trip. Gigi and Judy run a fantastic restaurant that feels like a family visit to Rome every time we go! The value and the authenticity can't be beat. Gigi's recipes are authentic Roman Italian recipes the way Italian food was meant to be enjoyed. Judy makes most of the desserts herself and they're absolutely worth saving room for! “What a fantastic place to eat before we saw a concert at Ardmore Music Hall. We asked to be in and out within 45 minutes so we could make the concert. The service was fast but not rushed. The food from apps to entre', we're hot and delicious. The bread was also warm and crusty but soft in the middle. Paired perfectly with my eggplant parm appetizer. I also had the penne vodka as my main dish. I was not disappointed. My husband had a Cesar salad and a capellini and seafood dish. Fantastic portion size. Everything was just perfect. “Illata has become our favorite Fitler Square restaurant, and we've been in the neighborhood for 22 years. It's a little gem, nestled on Gray's Ferry Ave just steps from South Street. The staff is extraordinarily pleasant and helpful, and the food is - in a word- exquisite. All delicious, all prepared beautifully, a very balanced menu of seafood, red meat and vegetarian options. Their desserts are divine!
But perhaps the most amazing, and extremely reasonable addition, to the menu is their sourdough bread- hearty and flavorful, with a perfect slightly chewy feel on the tongue. We've taken to order some to go!

“Decent neighborhood pizza place. I had their pizza at a birthday party so it had been sitting for a while in the home .That wasn’t their fault. The ricotta, spinach slice was very good and so that I barely finished it, The people who worked there were very nice to us. I’d like to try the pizza again as a sit down meal in their restaurant.

“I want to change my original bad review. On 07/28/2023 we placed an order with Antonella’s Italian Kitchen thru Uber Eats for us to pick up. Antonella’s called us and said they did not have the food available and cannot complete the order. They were going on vacation. We agreed to their cancellation.However, Antonella charged us $32.86. We appealed to Uber but Uber said Antonella noted they began the order and we cancelled, when in fact they cancelled. However, my wife went into Antonella's and discussed the problem. He graciously refunded the mistake. We definitely plan to patronize Antonella's in the future!“

He finally told my grandma where he got it when he was dying, so we’ve been lucky enough to keep having this ravioli.
