They have daily breakfast and lunch specials along with homemade soup, so to see those you need to follow their Facebook page. And the crew is always friendly and greets you with a smile.“

““A BRIEF STOP at COUNTRY CAFE” Today were on the PA interstate driving to a holiday weekend destination. We had been on the road for hours, and were starving. Google search for local food, and Country Café came up. When you first see the place from the road, it is very deceiving, because it looks small. It is spacious inside, and they can comfortably accommodate more than 50 people. We ordered the meat lovers omelette and the plates are so full we had trouble finishing! Very reasonable prices as compared to our Jersey Diners. The wait staff and everyone else were so nice and friendly. Whenever we travel we go out of our way to look for places like this. We’re glad we found Country Café. Highly recommended.“

I brought my boyfriend Abdullah to meet my family and it was one of the most special memories that I cherish deeply. “My wife and I are new to the area and wanted to try a new restaurant. I went online and saw that there was a country style diner complete with homemade desserts and huge portions. I had the Barell Burger and my wife had the Blue Burger. First off, you are really taken in by all the great decor in the restaurant. This place reminds me of Country Junction in Lehighton how they have it decorated. The coffee mugs are huge! We had dana and Carly as our servers and when I tell you these two are hands down the happiest waitresses I've ever had wait on us. You really can tell that they love thier customers. We will be back on Sunday for breakfast. Great place.“

The atmosphere is retro and fun and there's a booth set up like from the episode The Client that you can take photos in. The manager even took our photo. He had veal parmigiana w linguine & salad. I had pappardelle bolognese w italian wedding soup. The bread was warm w oil for dipping & the entrees served hot as they should be. (it was obvious that nothing was sitting waiting to come out of the kitchen)

The waitstaff are super friendly & attentive and the cocktails- a bloody mary & tiramisu martini were excellent!

Dessert was brownie ala mode w a candle & song for hubs, and tiramisu for me.

Impressive service by our bartender, watching her multitask a busy Friday night. Other support staff worked like a well oiled machine, bringing food orders from the back kitchen, taking orders, prepping tables…so service could be executed smoothly.
**** Trax Classic, loaded grilled burger done just as ordered with their thick and crispy house-made chips. Don’t bother counting calories.
***** Station Signature Misto salad was enjoyed by my husband.
Coming from out of town the prices were reasonable. Portions were filling and the indoor atmosphere was cozy with dark woods, a beautiful chandelier and reminders of a by gone era in this historic hotel. There are large screen TVs scattered throughout the dining area for the sports fans to enjoy. History buffs would enjoy seeing old photos showing how this huge train depot was utilized for passengers and cargo.
They can prepare your meal to go, we were staying at the hotel and ordered by a direct call line to their staff and the bill could be charged to your room or paid up front.
I saw a mix of both locals and visitors having a moment to enjoy their meals. Parking is easy, they keep late night hours too. We enjoyed our meals so much, we had it again before we left to travel home.“

“Beautiful restaurant within the Radisson Lackawanna hotel. Reservations are suggested although we were the only 2 people eating from 6pm-7pm on a Saturday evening. I believe it was because the hotel was hosting a large party and most of the guests were probably there. The evening prior, the restaurant was full. We were served quickly and our drinks were brought along with warm bread and butter. We ordered pasta and crab cakes and our meals came out quickly. Everything was so hot, fresh and tasty. My scallops were tender and my cousin enjoyed the lump crab meat in her crab cakes and vegetables. Dessert was a delectable warm creme brulee. Prices were fair. We would definitely recommend dining here.“
