“If you’re in the Lebanon area and need a quick, easy outing with kids, this spot is such a gem especially on a beautiful day.

We found it just a 7-minute drive from the Lebanon Expo Center, and it ended up being the perfect last-minute plan. There’s no cost to see the animals, which is a huge win, and my kids could’ve stayed there forever just interacting and watching them.

There’s also:
•A playground on-site, which made it easy to extend our visit
•A little market inside with local goods
•The ice cream is so good definitely worth getting

We ended up staying about 2 hours, but I’d say most families stay closer to 30 minutes to an hour. There’s a nice flow of people coming and going, so it never felt overcrowded.

Things to Know Before You Go:
•Parking can get a little busy, especially with park traffic
•You can park on the grass if needed
•There’s a drive-through, so just be mindful of cars moving through while walking around

Overall this is such a great free to low-cost option if you want something simple, fun, and kid-friendly without overplanning. It’s one of those places you can pop into and still feel like you made a full outing out of your day.“

“Can be quite busy at times. The best way to not get stuck in parking lot [ due to dunkin donuts drive through] is park in Giant store parking lot and just walk across. Service is fast but lines can get long especially after dinner time. Still waiting for them to get cheesecake custard like the one in elizabethtown though.“

“I would drive by this place, and without fail, it was always really busy. I figured it had to be a great place since it's always so busy. I also appreciate any local place that is not a large chain place. They make their own creations, and you can't compare what you get here for other places because it's truly so different. I will let you know they only take cash, but the gas station across the street has an ATM. I usually get their M&M Artic Creation. One time, I opted for a banana split, but I was truly unable to eat all of it. I felt like it weighed at least 3 to 5 lbs. If it was around when I would get ice cream with my grandma back in IA, it would have been a game changer. We always were able to get anything we wanted as long as we could eat it all. I ate my first banana split at 5 yrs old. I would never have been able to eat this banana split ever by myself. It's a great option if you are looking to share with others. Still look forward to going back and trying new things from time to time. Great staff too!!“

“We had such a lovely experience at this location today! My mom and I have dietary restrictions and need to limit our sugar intake. Today we stopped by hoping for a sugar-free option but unfortunately they didn’t have any out today. Instead, the manager offered to mix up a fresh batch of sugar free mango-peach for us! We wholeheartedly appreciate the service we recieved today The staff was friendly and the service was quick, despite us having to wait a few minutes for a fresh batch (which we didn’t mind)! We will 100% be back to this location We love Rita’s due to their sugar free options as most dessert places don’t offer sugar free options Thank you so much for accommodating us and providing us with the best customer experience possible!“

“What a great place to visit. It is always clean and has very nice employees working in the store. I met Larry (an older person like me), I believe that was his name and he suggested a chocolate covered strawberry bilzard. It was delicious.“

“I love Rita’s and will continue to come here regularly but it is unacceptable and to me it should not be allowed to only have one person attending many costumers! “We visited Dairy Queen earlier this week for Free Cone Day, and it was such a great experience! The staff were friendly and worked quickly. There was a line, but it went by fast and was well organized. The restaurant was clean, and we appreciated having plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a fun treat for the kids, and we’ll definitely be back again!“

“The sign said something about treating people right. So I asked for a small Pecan Mudslide. The guy said they don’t have small. So I told him what the sign says. He proceeded to make a small Pecan Mudslide for my wife. All I can say is Thank You for treating people right! My wife was impressed that he went out of the way to make her a small. Then he also charged less. Way to go! I wish everyone would put the customer first! This is one of my favorite places now because of what this you man did!
