“We had a great night at the Meetinghouse. Great atmosphere on a Thursday night. Place was buzzing. We had some super food, a small menu but perfect. Kinda like tapas if you want to share. Tried the mystery wine, a gamble that didn't pay off for us, it was like a fruit wine. Safer with the white. Staff and service were excellent. Friendly place and enjoyed chatting to some locals. Worth a visit and glad we searched it out.“

“Talk about an absolute gem, this place is unreal. Old school joint, huge menu, couldn’t believe all the options, we were there to eat and try a bunch of great offerings and did we ever. Wings were fall off the bone good, perfect sauce, loved getting them in a bowl with tons of sauce. Soup was unreal, tons of spice, perfect. Pirogies have the crisp shell, loaded with filling, tons of onions, and really filling. The crab logs are like jojos with old bay and really great in the cheese sauce. Pies were amazing and beers were ice cold. Best part, 3 guys ate an absolute ton of food for $99 before tip. I mean we were uncomfortably full, but the price was right!

Service was great. Made you feel like family immediately.

“My second time at the establishment and it was just as excellent as my first. For me, hands down the best Manhattan in Philadelphia. And it was as good as my first.

I only ate French fries at my first visit having brunched earlier in Manayunk and they also were just as delicious. The Taphouse bacon burger was divine. Just the best mix of crispy edges, gooey cheese, fresh & delicious tomatoes (rare for January in the NE! ) and possibly a common , happy problem to have, SO much food. I enjoyed every bite & sip & our server for a fair sized group of more than 15 was friendly, efficient and very well organized.“

Can confirm, never been drunk or stupid enough to wander into a private basement. There’s an upstairs as well (that IS open to the patrons)

“It's a friendly neighbo4hood bar that has a few gaming machines for us degenerate gamblers. Located nearby Frankford hospital in case you hit a big jackpot and go into cardiac arrest. It is a friendly group of people that appear to frequent this Tavern so go ahead on down and enjoy yourself.“

“I use to play pool when I was younger. It was great times. Since they took the tables out im only in there 2x a year. Service still good, Greg the bar tender is awsome, food is bar food and nothing really omg special but plentiful and good prices. Ross plumbing had there Christmas party there, had a good time. Good spot small parties and bago.“

“I stopped in here during Happy Hour one Friday afternoon and had a very enjoyable time. I met some friendly people and engaged in some good conversations with the regular customers. Mostly concerning sports and alcohol beverages. All three bartenders were excellent servers and quickly replenished our drinks. Can't wait until they start serving food as they just reopened under new management. It's a small place with just a straight bar but it was a friendly atmosphere.“

“I stopped here one Saturday on my way home from center city and had a very good evening. I opened the door and was greeted by a friend who performs at so many local drinking establishments in Northeast Philly. As it was a spontaneous decision to go here I was very surprised to see him. Located on Rhawn Street off of Frankford Avenue in Mayfair/Holmesburg. It has an latge open area for music and dancing with long straight bar. I didn't have the food so I can't rate it. Our barmaid/server Laurie was friendly, witty and an excellent host. I met several friendly and engaging people here and will surely stop back.“

“Daly’s has 3 Diamond 7’ pool tables in the bar area, which is a huge plus. My team played in an APA tournament there last weekend and the tables play great. The service was excellent. The prices are right. The food is bar food. I’d go back and hang out in a Friday night for pool and beer. Also, pretty solid beer selection.“

“Castle Roxx is my go to stop. Every time I come I have a great experience. All of the bar tenders always are amazing and work so hard to make my experience the best in Manayunk. Eric and Vinny are two of my favorite bar tenders. They make even the slowest nights the most fun. I normally come during the week, as opposed to the weekends, and I never regret it.“

“The Bridesburg Pub for years is a fun place to go. There is always people that you know in there. This particular late day into night visit was awesome with our bartender, Tony, who we were all meeting for the first time. He was very friendly, attentive to our drinks, just a great guy!. My girlfriend and I were on a Chambord kick and I was impressed that they had that liqueur and Tony was no stranger in making my Chambord Sours and Debbie’s French Martini’s.

Parking: We found spots right by the Bridesburg Pub. It was Labor Day Weekend also.“

“I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“
