They also serve awesome drinks like mudslides, banana monkey, or dirty monkey, and some good fruity drinks, do not hesitate to name your favorite, or don't be afraid to try something new. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Servers are always great and pleasant from my experiences as well! Street parking only but it's free. It also may look like a "hole in the wall" before going inside but it's far from that. It's recently renovated and has a modern but classic bar feel and look. “Reliable neighborhood bar with great bartenders. Fridays during lent they have a semi-limited fryer menu because they are selling so much fish because it's a great deal, quick & good. Its beer battered & fried. Its pretty large. For take out, ask for the bun to be on the side and to not salt your fries or put the salt seasoning on the side (they can be a little salty but if you have a beer in hand, you're good to go).“

“I love this place! I was in Pittsburgh for a work thing, and this bar was around the corner from my hotel. The atmosphere is amazing. It's a neighborhood bar where everyone seems to know each other. I love that it's not one of these places that tries to be all fancy and stuff. If you want to avoid those type of places, I highly recommend Birmingham Bridge Tavern. The food is damn good too! “Dive bar vibe - Dark & Vintage. They're hot cheese balls were pretty good. They were not the best cheese curds that I have ever had, but they were decent. If you like your cheese curds extra cheesy, these are for you. We also got 2 burgers were which were extremely large, & cooked well done which wasn't very good. The fries were subpar and the chips were just plain generic ruffle chips -not made in house or anything. I would have loved another option to not have a side. This place was not super expensive which was cool but probably wouldn't come here again.“

“If you like hood bars this is the place to go. They have pool tables and food but I never ate there but I heard the food is BOMB! You also have to try those jello shots that Auntie makes which are very strong. My only GRIPE is that they use the state regulated pours so the bartenders really can't show you little love but at least they don't charge you an arm and a leg“

There's something to be said about venues keeping the general public safe while providing an optimal entertainment experience. I cannot wait to watch this venue flourish!“

“Where else in town can you smoke a pack of cigs that came out of a retro machine... drink cheap beer and eat the largest chicken wings I've ever seen in my life? Also you're technically allowed to graffiti in the bathrooms, just don't write on the pinball machine. The jukebox is really cool too. I won't be back for personal reasons but I liked sitting in this bar even when I stopped drinking, it was cool to see everyone else having fun. The BBQ wings are seriously delicious (why are they so big??? Not complaining just impressed) and there are always weird movies playing on TV, and they write a fun little quote on the chalkboard daily which was honestly my favorite part. “Garvey's is a fantastic place nestled in Southside slopes.We stumbled upon when we were walking from the slopes to the flats. Bartender James was a lot of fun. “This is a great asset to Mt. Lebanon, growing up in Brooklyn, I am accustomed to pretty darn good pizza. East End makes a SOLID Sicilian! The beers are very good, pricing is a bit strong, I think they would do well to ease up a bit there maybe a 2for deal or something on the beer and the pizza they would do more volume and get more exposure. I frequent this place, and everything I have had so far has been like a Pittsburgh 9/10 or better. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and it's a great way to wrap up a long day!“

“Randy was our first class bartender and was knowledgeable polite &friendly PGH tortas was the food truck for the new fangs beer release and they provided a five star taco experience - duck carnitas, rabbit tinga, gator po boy, nopales and beef tongue. All juicy choices featuring the perfect combo of acid, fat& sweet heat.
The beers featured the marzen - best Oktoberfest of the year. We went home with some coffee porter &the scent of the head alone was transformative.
