50 Best Sandwich Shops near Pleasant Hills

“I am somewhat new to the area and have been in this location twice. Yes it is more expensive than Subway but there is no comparison. I think if you are willing to spend the extra dollars you’ll be happy here. I know what $10 buys me at Subway. And they’ve been going downhill for years. I’d rather spend the extra money at Primo’s or just do without! The quality is much higher and ingredients seem a lot fresher. IMO. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on menu. I usually skip the cheese but not here. Anything with turkey is lower in calories so I’ve only had that so far. A lot of women could probably get two meals out of the primo size sandwich if you get a small side. Their potato salad is different but very good. They were out of rice pudding today so they substituted dirty pudding. While I don’t need the extra sugar, it is very good! Store seems very clean as well. The saying ‘You get what you pay for’ applies here!“

“Visited this location for the first time at lunch today. There were probably 4 people in front of me and one behind me. Plus, one person came in to pick up 2 delivery orders. The ladies waiting on us crushed it. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The person directly in front of me ordered 3 sandwiches with all double meat. Also, their hair and makeup were flawless. Masks worn properly, changed gloves between orders. This will probably be my go-to location from now on.“

We just moved to Pittsburgh and were looking for our go-to sub place and Peppi’s was recommended multiple times. I was skeptical about the hummus being on the sandwich and originally asked for it to be made without but i’m honestly glad that they ended up putting it on there because it took it to a whole new level! “The people working at Jersey Mike's on Saturday evening, July 18 2020 went above and beyond for us. I placed an online order and on our way to get the order the vehicle we were driving in broke down. I called and explained the situation because I knew we wouldn't get there before close. The person I spoke with was so kind and assured me I could still get my order. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get there at all and when I called to explain and offer my order to the closing team, the person who answered was again so kind and offered to refund my order even though I had no intention of asking for that. Parking: The parking lot is in a plaza so there is plenty of parking.“

What the site DIDN'T say was that it was for pick up orders only... My phone wouldn't complete the order for some reason. Even though the owner for some reason had this poor girl working by HERSELF AT NIGHT IN OAKLAND at the only open Subway and she was SUPER busy, she took a second to take my order and made sure I was taken care of and did it with a great and positive attitude. “I come to this location MULTIPLE times a week. Sometimes it is my only escape from the stress of the day and it is the HIGHLIGHT
of my day. This team is always HUSTLING. Sometimes the universe isn’t working in their favor (A/C issues, RUDE customers, etc.) Despite these challenges, the staff is always friendly, personable and working hard. In a college town where the shop is always busy, you don’t always get that. People are LUCKY this shop is the way it is and should be less rude (hint: being kind costs $0 and no one appreciates you acting entitled customers) More businesses need to not sweat the small stuff and keep vibing along running business as usual. “This is the best subway I have ever been to! Everything is so fresh and extremely clean. The owners are always so nice and welcoming. I have come twice with my 2.5 year and 8 month old and they are always so sweet to the kids and the woman has given my older one a free cookie twice which she really appreciates.
