“Bomb authentic Jamaican food. Curried Goat/Jerk Chicken/Oxtail Combo ordered. Everything was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Cook/service staff friendly as well.

“Our first experience at a James Beard award winning restaurant (2017) and chef was incredible at Vernick Fish in Philadelphia to celebrate Trent’s graduation! I know now what this caliber of food and service means and all other restaurants pale in comparison to Vernick Fish and Greg Vernick(semi-finalist chef 2025). From the appetizers (dozen oysters from RI, MA, ME, PEI) to the drinks and main course were all uniquely exquisite and cannot be replicated anywhere else. The constant doting with new silverware at each course and cleaning of the table was undeniably royalty treatment. Even the bathroom was an experience-I need the hand lotion in my life (instantly made my hands look 30 years younger). The portions, ambiance and service were all equally perfect! I highly recommend you check out Vernick Fish. We will definitely return!“

Service was incredibly friendly, down to us saying how much we loved the sauce and our server brought up a little side of sauce and another piece of bread just so we could savor the flavors a little longer. Each dish truly got better and better. This BYOB spot is a complete standout and you need to RUN HERE. Shoutout to our servers, Maggie and Mary, and Chef Ben for a memorable, absolutely delicious experience.“

“I don’t think I have ever tried so many new foods in one sitting before. We ordered a special from the raw bar that our waitress described as a boujee poke bowl (she was awesome btw and very patient with us as we were being indecisive). It was so good! I couldn’t even tell you what was in there but basically every raw fish ever with a really great sauce. We also got some oysters (so fresh with great sauces) and the trout pancake. Never thought I’d be into cold fish on a pancake, but it was delicious. Anyway, all that rambling to say this place is amazing, definitely go if you can get a reservation, and definitely try all the weird things that sound kinda scary.“

Nachos, stuffed jalapeño’s for starters and just delicious!!!! I had the shrimp and grits which were amazing!! It came with the smallest bottle of Tobassco and my wife said…thank you!!!🤷🏾 my ladies loved their dishes and it was a nice time at dinner!! Didn’t wait long for a seat which is always a plus! It’s a large space which also has outside seating!! When I got home I sent those shrimp right back to the Bayou which was a good thing…it made room for two apple cider donuts from Linvilla!!! DJAKARTA CAFE is our Best Place to enjoy the authentic Indonesian culinary! The portion is huge,not stingy with the sauce. I tried almost all they have in the menu, but Nasi Ayam Bakar is hands-down one of The Best! Came along with tamarind soup, fried tofu, n fried tempe..also the sambal spicy chilly!
Without forget mentioning dessert Es Campur !“

“The food was subpar. The prices are ridiculously high for the quality of the food. The service was average at best. Order a "vegan" burger for $17 which was just an impossible patty which came between a bunch that tasted and felt like cardboard. Also didn't come with fries. the drink photos in the menu are deceptive as they appear larger than the actual drinks received. Save yourself some money and have a better meal by going downstairs at the Grand Sierra Resort to Johnny Rockets.“

“Wick's is awesome! Their staff is always super friendly! I always bring coolers of food from Wicks with me to the Outer Banks when I vacation there for a week in a house rental. Wick's has almost every product available; from burgers, hot dogs, french fries, onion rings, chicken fingers (homemade right there on site), all things seafood, chicken patties, roast beef and gravy and mac and cheese right in the aluminum pans to cook them in, vegetables, almost everything imaginable. I highly recommend this place of business.“

“Really great food- we had the shrimp fried rice, noodle bowl and wings (salt + pepper). All meals were so tasty even the spring rolls! Wings were crispy, well seasoned and tasty. Restaurant staff are very nice and welcoming. We sat in, only 4 tables. It was a good dining experience not like a sit down restaurant for example you order at the desk, and there’s no waiter. So casual and lovely vibes! Definitely recommend and will be ordering again!!“

“I've chosen this restaurant twice for parties because of the quality of food, outstanding customer service, and the only complaint I have is that the air conditioning was not cold. We chose a 100 degree day to go and found out the hard way. It was 88 degrees in the restaurant. 🫠“

I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“Went tonight for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Only 2 other tables were occupied on a Sat night and we think it’s under recognized. The price felt very comparable to other Italian spots in the area and the food quality was on par or better. Our waitress was fantastic. We will definitely be back!“

“Please don’t let the outdated atmosphere keep you from experiencing this place. The service was terrific, and the food was even better. I ordered the fish hoagie and could only eat half; there were at least four pieces of fish on it, plus a side of potato salad. The potato salad wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t bad either.

My husband had the fried shrimp platter with six shrimp, coleslaw, and fries. He said it was delicious and only struggled to finish because the portion was so generous. Overall, I’m honestly upset it took me so long to try this spot. I drive by it at least three times a week!

If you want it shorter, more casual, or more enthusiastic, I can tweak the tone in one pass.“

Seriously, great birthday dinner out with mom tonight. The French onion soup dumpling was a warm and cozy start. The truffle risotto was actually risotto, what a 'mmm' comfort on this comfort food chicken sandwich. I had the Insatiable burger which had that POW! Damn, that's good! first bite. 😋
Banana pudding boozy shake, delicious and really worth a visit all on it's own. Espresso martini, chilled to perfection. Carmel brownie dessert a crowd pleaser. The affogato was the perfect ending, tie this dinner experience up in a bow 😁“

“Potatoes with peppers and onions was delicious. Eggs were cheesy throughout & that's exactly how I like it. T-bone came with a sauce that was tasty opposite from your A-1 because it was sweet. My steak I wish was a little tender but overall it was a delicious meal! I will definitely patronize this business again🥰“
