“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“Been coming here for two years since we moved to the area. They staff are amazing. The coffe and drinks are quality and tasty. They always have new and interesting additions to the menu. Cool atmosphere. Gets crowded, but that because all the cool kids hang out here! So glad to have them in the neighborhood.“

“We stopped here for lunch on our way somewhere else because of the intriguing name. Boy was that a lucky coincidence. Service was attentive although, to be fair, there were only 4 people dining in.
The food was absolutely fantastic. The cold sesame noodles did not have the gloppy sauce one finds in most places. Instead, the noodles were dressed in sesame oil. Similarly, the roast pork buns were not the overly sweetened pork they use elsewhere. We also got the pumpkin dumplings that were out of this world. Finally we had the General Tsao's Tofu that remarkably remained crispy despite the sauce.“

“Izzy's is my Fri night go to after getting off the train. James, Brian, Justin and the rest of the crew provide a warm welcome and great service. The hand rolls are excellent! It's really noisy and space is tight, and every once in a while I meet someone new for an interesting conversation. And it's just fine with everyone if I roll up with my New Yorker magazine for a quick bite on the way home!“

“We decided to drop into this East Falls restaurant for Sunday brunch, and we're so glad we did. My husband ordered the heuves chorizo and I ordered the Cresta Omelet. Both were delicious!! My husband also asked for poblano pepper in his, and they accommodated his request. The restaurant is warm and inviting with exposed brick. Prices are very reasonable and the servings were generous. Management was super welcoming, and our server, Anna, was awesome. We will definitely be back!!“

“Was there last night, our waitress never stayed at the table more than 2 seconds and it was not busy. She didn’t even say goodbye when we left. Yikes! Cocktails were yummy but the lights need to be lowered. Music was horrible as it kept getting skipped. Imagine dragons not a cocktail club vibe. Recommend a good vibe be set or will probably not return. Unfriendly waitress also made it way worse.“

“Dan Dan absolutely exceeded my expectations! The vegetable fried rice was bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared, with fresh onions, peas, and carrots in every bite. It was seasoned just right and had the perfect balance of taste and texture.
The side order of vegetarian string beans was truly unforgettable. They were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and seasoned so well that I honestly couldn’t stop eating them. I can confidently say they were some of the best string beans I’ve ever had.
The experience was made even better by our server , Lee, whose customer service was exceptional. She was warm, attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her professionalism and genuine hospitality added the perfect finishing touch to an already amazing meal.

During a private party I attended, my husband was unfairly flagged by the staff without any clear explanation or warning. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially considering the event was private and meant to be a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I expected better treatment and transparency from a business that hosts events. This incident has definitely made me reconsider ever returning in the future.“

“This was my 3rd time coming here, once with a good friend (that introduced me to this place) second time while being pregnant with my husband and I first child. The third time with my husband and daughter to celebrate our anniversary. Each time the service and staff were amazing! I felt very grateful to have the staff offer me a private location to breastfeed my daughter if she got hungry. The food was delicious each time and the music is always great too. “Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican,and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“
