“Ordered two burgers and wings for the first time through Doordash tonight. Best burgers Ive had locally! And huge too! Delicious! My husband got a side of green beans and kept raving about them too. I got a side salad and it was very fresh, and had excellent ranch dressing. (Us ranch girlies always judge a restaurant by their ranch and Gil's passed the test!) We're planning to stop in in person now sometime when were over that way! Highly recommended!“

“The food is amazing! Flavorful and fresh. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the South Hills. My go-to is Veggie Chow Mein with an order of Momos (dumplings). We also love the Chicken Biryani and Tikka Masala. The name of the restaurant has changed from Sagun to Allegheny Spice Kitchen. The new menu is huge so don't be afraid to try it all!“

“The fish was huge & falling off the plate. I don't think I've ever eaten anywhere that they didn't forget to bring something out...like ranch or mayo, but it didnt happen here. “This might be some of the best food we've had in the area without having to go into the city. We had my husband's 40th birthday dinner here with about a dozen of us. Our group can be loud and obnoxious, but everything they did was great and exceeded our expectations! Gina, the owner, was so easy to get along with and accommodating when making the reservation. “It was our first time here, but from what I can see and taste, the owners put together a great menu with excellent recipes and kudos to their kitchen for their great execution.I honestly think I've found my new favorite italian restaurant.Kid's pasta is $7. Id say it serves kids 10 and under. “Get a reservation! We had none. So we ate at the bar. This was not ideal for a full meal. We were not in a rush so it worked. Food was great. If you are GF, request your items that way. They are served with Gluten normally but can be adapted to be GF. I would go back again. “I've only had takeout from this restaurant, but it is my favorite takeout in the area. Food is always hot and flavorful. Pork fried rice contains generous portions of very flavorful pork. Vegetable eggrolls are excellent! Capital chicken is the shared favorite between my husband and I. They are fast, reliable, and have never let me down!“

My favorites: stuffed eggplant, mazze platter, tabbulee, grape leaves and lamb shish kabob. The beet salad is excellent. Their seafood specials are always fresh and delicious! The swordfish kabob is outstanding if it's on special. Entrees include a stellar Amel's salad and warm pita bread. There's a separate bar with patio seating and a small bar in the dining room. Embellishing a great dinner is a warm and colorful ambiance of many hanging lamps, and the romantic mural on the wall will captivate your imagination! I've enjoyed dining here for years, and it offers good service and a moderately priced menu. Amel's is one of the few restaurants where you can enjoy a late dinner or small plates and cocktails. They are open until 11 pm Monday through Saturday. If you are looking for a big hit for a party try the mazza platter. I thoughtful friend added it to my birthday party menu. “This place is second to none! Top notch on everything. We had my husbands retirement celebration there last Saturday. We had another venue and 5 days before the event we decided we were making a mistake and called Lynn at the Red Lion Restaurant. On short notice Lynn accommodated every single request we asked her for. We had an extensive Menü, Stuff PorkChops, Roast Beef in gravy, Seafood Alfredo, Rigatoni, Red Roasted Potatoes and a vegetable melody, A charcuterie table that was amazing, the food was excellent, the service was incredible, her staff went far and beyond to make this event special! I want to thank them all for making this celebration in our families life so special and a beautiful memory we will cherish for ever. “So, Red Lobster in Pleasant Hills was clean and had a menu with many options. I chose the shrimp skewers and added a scallop one. They were tasty. I added a side of Brussel sprouts. They were delicious. The biscuits were good. The baked potato was done well. All of the staff were friendly . It’s worth a return visit to try the Salmon Bowl or maybe the flounder.“

“Went on a Friday they had lent menu in addition to regular menu. No kids menu, but sides and apps easily made them happy. The fish tacos had very large pieces of fish and were cooked perfectly. Beer and draft menu was great, BBQ shrimp skewers were filling and Cole slaw was creamy style and very good. The waitresses seemed to work as a team and we were continuously checked on by several different team members. I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner. I ordered the shrimp dinner, but wish that I had noticed that only some dinners come with coleslaw. The shrimp were delicious, however. Be sure to order ahead, as the restaurant is popular, and does not really cater to walk-ins, as their menu is only available online. I will definitely be back.“

“I never leave reviews, but I love their food here. Service is fast, food is great and reasonably priced. They always have utensils and sauce in the bag. Just had their small egg drop soup and an egg roll for lunch. The soup was excellent!! Came with the fried noodles. The vegetable egg roll was crispy and filling!!! It also had the sauce packets with it. I've been going here off and on since they opened and have never been disappointed. It's way better than fast food and it's consistently good. “We came for a pregame party before the college basketball tournaments. What a great saloon next to the beautiful old train station. This saloon is very nice and warm, not a dive. There are very nice tables and booths with a bar. For the event, hot trays of food were delivered for a buffet line, but the food, tho very good, was not plentiful. People had to wait for food to arrive. Hot trays were never full. If planning an event check about the buffet line. There was a cash bar. Restrooms were in the old part of the station and were nice. We'll definitely return to try the menu and relax in this old, but very nice saloon. A parking garage is nearby. Handicapped accessible.“

“Food was amazing! My husband and I had the shrimp which were large and deveined! I had the filet mignon very good and the potatoes were not overcooked. Asparagus was good but too large for my taste. The only negative was the waitress…. very intrusive, in your face when talking, asking too many questions about my earrings, and her cologne was way too strong it made us want to change seats but we stayed.“

“We were up at the Tesla dealership and decided to stop and try Firebirds for dinner before driving home. It was AMAZING. The good smells hit as soon as you open the door. The design and layout is very well done. Our server tonight was Jake and he was the best. He told us about the restaurant (we have never been before) and made three recommendations and we took all three. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! Definitely will come again!!“
