I brought my boyfriend Abdullah to meet my family and it was one of the most special memories that I cherish deeply. Most recently when I came, I saw many peers from high school who may or may not have noticed me. Most distinctively, I saw a former athlete. This colleague used to be one of the best North Pocono football players as well as North Pocono track & field athletes who had his year book picture iconically taken on the railroad tracks. I would highly recommend coming here if you want to see North Pocono School District legends as well as have amazing food.“

“My wife and I are new to the area and wanted to try a new restaurant. I went online and saw that there was a country style diner complete with homemade desserts and huge portions. I had the Barell Burger and my wife had the Blue Burger. First off, you are really taken in by all the great decor in the restaurant. This place reminds me of Country Junction in Lehighton how they have it decorated. The coffee mugs are huge! We had dana and Carly as our servers and when I tell you these two are hands down the happiest waitresses I've ever had wait on us. You really can tell that they love thier customers. We will be back on Sunday for breakfast. Great place.“

“We don't typically go to such a nice place on a Friday evening to close out the work week. Just the 2 of us with a shared appetizer 1 adult beverage each and a seltzer each was just over $100.00. It was so relaxed taking just over 1.5 hours. Our waitress was among the most professional people we have had wait on us. She knew the menu very well, was engaging without the fluff, made solid recommendations and was at the table exactly when we wanted. The menu is extension and full of non-typical items. Everything we tried was brilliant. This is a place where you can experiment with dishes you haven't tried before without worry that you won't enjoy. 100% additional trips in our future. “Fridays at work, the office orders lunch, and we are always looking for new eats. Well today, Chef Von & Mom popped up on our app, and we loved the sound of the menu. The food arrived, and it was EXACTLY like it's pictured on all the sites! The portions were perfect at an extremely reasonable price (better quality and taste than fast food joints, but easier on my wallet)!! “Awesome food and drink, no matter what you order it will be great. Always busy for dinner, be prepared to wait but it will be worth it. Some reviews say manager is rude but it is more no nonsense, keeps things moving as fast as possible. We make an annual visit to the area and this restaurant is our must do.“

“I just moved to the Scranton/Dunmore area from New York City. I was looking for a local place to “hang my hat”. After trying several local establishments, someone told me I should try Crotti’s on Ash. I met Sheila, the owner, who is fantastic about managing, serving and booking the bands for the place.
I walked in on a Monday night and saw Clarence Spady playing a rendition of “Hey Joe” that floored me. If you don’t know who Clarence is- Google him. I’ve been coming back ever since. Every band or person that plays here is extremely impressive and high quality. Coming from NYC, it’s difficult to impress me but everything about this place is awesome. The people here are warm, good-hearted souls that make everyone feel welcome- Even a displaced person from New York City!“

“Fantastic place! Super nice server, plus the owner stopped by to go over some choices. We ordered toasted ravioli, rosemary chicken, veal and peppers(all excellent) and the home run of the evening, manicotti made with a crepe. Pricing was moderate/low, for the quality.

“I called ahead to inquire about if the food was spicy as I tried the halal spot up the street from them and couldn’t get beyond a fork full because it was WAAYYY too spicy. Figured I’d give these guys a try and THANK God I did!!! Not only was there a huge amount of food but the little kick of spice was not over baring and left space for plenty of favor. I asked for extra white sauce and they delivered on that as well. They were nice accommodating and the food was good. This was my first time goin there so I did call and let them know the food was great and you could tell the guy needed to hear that you could hear him smile through the phone I’m not sure why this place isn’t way busier but trust me it’s worth it! As a New Yorker I think this is the closest you’ll get to NY truck stand halal. I APPROVE!!!“
