“This is pretty much the only place i eat at this mall. For me the price is very reasonable and usually they have something i always enjoy. The spicy fried tofu (w/Veggies & Lo Main) is always great and my go-to when I want a filling snack.
I wish I could give bonus stars simply for the wonderful woman working the register today (9/1/24, roguhly 1 pm). She was amazingly friendly! While I patiently waited for my meal I noticed every customer who came into here (including myself!) was acknowledged and greeted, she made sure to ask if orders were correct double checking and all, and would always find something to compliment or have that moment of a quick impression/connection and making someone's day that much better. Not one person left without a smile. Someone like that is a very rare gift in the food industry. I wish I could give her a proper shout-out, but I never got her name!“

Parking: Saxer Avenue is hard to park on but there is a large free Municipal parking lot directly behind the Wawa across the street from Happy Wok II.“

“Made reservations at 7pm at loch bar for my sister’s birthday. I got there first and since my sister was a few minutes away, the host couldn’t seat me without her. My sister arrived at 7:05pm and the host informed us that it was busy therefore we would have to wait at the bar until there is a table available. I’m not sure what is the point of a reservation, if you won’t be seated right away. The bartender was really nice and welcoming. 20 minutes later, there was an open table. The appetizers were delicious especially the mussels!!!! The caviar and potato skin were sooo good as well. The oysters were fresh & cold just how I like it. I ordered shots of clase azul for my sister’s bday and we decided to do a bump of caviar & a shot of clase azul. It was a great combo! Thank me later.“

“Tried takeout today for the first time and everything was delicious. This is more of a takeout place since the vibe is very basic, but there are a few tables for eat-in. I had the Pork Rib noodles and it was a very large portion with fresh bok choy, nicely spiced pork, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Also tried spring rolls and hot and sour soup (standards to see how they compare to other restaurants in the area). Spring rolls had options of chicken or chicken and shrimp, not greasy at all, and very good. Hot and sour soup was hotter than I've had elsewhere and not as thick as usual--i prefer this version. Prices were very good especially given the portion size of the noodles, easily enough for 2 meals. I will definitely be back!“

“Got general Tso chicken, pork fried rice and an iced tea for $10.50. No idea how they are able to charge this little but the food wasn’t bad at all. The pork fried rice was a lil blah, next time I will just get white rice. I didn’t call to order and my food took a lil while but I was very happy with the general tso chicken. Will order again.

“Tried a dozen places since we moved here 8 months ago. This is the first place we found with normal looking fried rice (Brown and white fried with char spots and multi colored) and not the all yellow rice. This was clearly cooked fresh, tastes fresh, will return.“

They don’t have a huge variety of options but it is a smaller place. It’s also located in a good spot, right next to Double Decker and across from 7/11 so people are sure to recognize it“

They went up on prices, portions sized has gotten smaller, my order was wrong (which was corrected) but not before one of the workers tried to convince me to keep the wrong order. Then when I paid the girl at who works the front refused to give me my change. My food was good for the most part minus the fact my white rice was overdone and mushy to which I threw it out. “We got sesame chicken and sweet & sour chicken both with pork fried rice. The sesame chicken was crisp with just enough sauce and the sweet & sour chicken was so crunchy! The rice is flavorful with tender bits of pork and chunks of onion that were the perfect texture. The shrimp and pork rolls were golden brown and I wish I got more honestly. “I've tried all of the available chinese food options in the gibbstown-paulsboro area and this place is far and above the best of them. The portions are great and the food is always tasty. The prices for all of them were about the same, but this place doesn't charge a really high additional fee for using credit/debit to pay. If you want Chinese food in this area, this is the only place you should go to.“

“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. There’s always those bad seeds that pit in minimal effort. When I left the tip the lady asked “ are you going to leave a tip?” I said ABSOULTELY !! I always leave a tip for good service . And I told her 3 dollars and she said

“THATS IT!!!” I immediately yelled at her becuase i was offended.someone needs to teach the lady on the phone humility. So I stopped leaving tips!!!!! Becuase number one I’m buying food from your establishment so I’m still investing my money into your Bussiness when I can go elsewhere . Number two a tip is optional !!! You don’t dictate how much I tip. As long as your giving good Bussiness your tips will total from multiple customers and orders . DONT LET YOUR GREED BE YOUR DOWNFALL!!!.
