“We worked with Joe to put together a tea reception after our wedding ceremony, and we couldn't have been happier! The pastries themselves were so delicious and very pretty (my personal favourites were the mini-cupcakes). And, Joe was a pleasure to work with, very communicative and upfront. We had to switch things up last minute from having the food out on display to having it packaged and handed out, and Joe and his team did a fantastic job pivoting, even coming up with a cute little QR code sticker with the menu for each box. We'll definitely be going back again.“

“My sweetheart and I went here on our second date. The original plan was to meet at Dead King Bread in Manyunk, and then hike in the Wissahickon. Dead King was closed, however, and my sweetheart quickly suggested Roma Cafe as an alternative. I'm ashamed to say that I never knew about this bakery. When I think of Italian bakeries, I typically think of South Philly. This is the real deal. An interior that harkens back to earlier times, and probably owners that harken back to an earlier time!

It was here that I discovered that my sweetheart is extravagant with treats, especially sweets. As a bit of a minimalst, I chose a rather bland biscuit. He chose an array of half a dozen treats, including canolies.

When we eventually made our way to the Wissahickon, we discovered that we had each packed more treats for the hike - cheese, grapes. He brought the most wonderful brie from Trader Joes that was as soft and gooey as if you had baked it in the oven. I noted with approval that he was equipped with a good picnic bag, as was I.

As we walked through the Wissahickon, I was captivated by his friendliness to everyone we passed on the trails, including the dogs.

My granddaughter daughter talked about Mochi donuts ? and booba teas.. we got so much, from donuts, smooties to hot cheeto corn dogs.. everything was delicious. Not to mention, my daughter left her purse there early in the day (yes we we twice in 1 day ??‍♀️) and we didn't know it. Customer service was excellent. Atmosphere is very welcoming. “got a 6-pack, first time trying (had a gift card). i'd say it's worth the money if you're getting one cookie as a snack, or you're getting a pack for a sizeable group of people to share. both my wife and i tapped out after eating 1 cookie (chocolate chip - delicious), when at insomnia we'd usually eat 2-3 each for a dessert. if you don't like thicker cookies, these are not for you - though it has a cookie texture, they're almost like mini cakes. but again, if you're looking for a more filling cookie, i'd pay the extra $1 to get it over insomnia's.“

I've visited a lot of famous bakeries in Europe and Asia, and the cakes here are exactly how I like them: not annoyingly sweet, with rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and a texture that's just right. The space also reminds me all the cute cafes you often found in Asia. I've already bought 4 cakes here in 3 months (2 more to go) and plan to keep ordering from them!“

“Ordered a birthday cake for my mom’s 50th from Kia’s and I cannot recommend them more. I worked with Rachel, and she was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to fulfill my requests. The cake was BEAUTIFUL, and absolutely delicious. Our guests raved!! Also, I want to say that the staff at Kia’s is so friendly and nice. Such a wonderful atmosphere. Stopped by today and got the cheesesteak with sauce and onions, and the buffalo chicken cheesesteak just to try it out. It was absolutely delicious! “Crust was an accidental find. I was strolling down the main street in Manayunk and the familiar vegan word caught my eye. Inside, I was surprised by the variety of baked goods, past the usual cupcakes and cookies. Multiple refrigerators house cheesecakes, cake cups, tiramisu, breakfast bakes, monkey bread, and more. We bought a seeded card (Mother's Day is around the distant corner) and a chocolate strawberry cheesecake. The strawberry cheesecake was dense and creamy with a crispy Oreo crust. “My mother & I came here for breakfast while we were waiting for my chinchilla to have a procedure done at the vet close by. Wow! We both had the Waldorf salad. I had mine on sourdough bread & she hers on a bed of lettuce with the tarragon chicken salad as well. Absolutely amazing. The chai latte was also great. I did not catch the barista’s name, but she was very helpful and friendly as well. All around great experience at the elegance cafe!“

“SUGARED prepared the most delicious and beautiful dessert table for my daughter’s holy communion. We had a custom cake, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and mini cheesecakes.
