“I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

“Kinda like sister of bông lan trứng muối. It is not made with sponge cake so there is no softness and airy texture. It has salted egg and pork floss. This place is small and quite with different drink and dessert options, and it is nicely decorated.“

“got a 6-pack, first time trying (had a gift card). i'd say it's worth the money if you're getting one cookie as a snack, or you're getting a pack for a sizeable group of people to share. both my wife and i tapped out after eating 1 cookie (chocolate chip - delicious), when at insomnia we'd usually eat 2-3 each for a dessert. if you don't like thicker cookies, these are not for you - though it has a cookie texture, they're almost like mini cakes. but again, if you're looking for a more filling cookie, i'd pay the extra $1 to get it over insomnia's.“

The buffalo blue cheez pop tart was a little too crumbly, but the pizza one was excellent. The pot pie one was better heated up. (When it was room temp, the herbs weren’t very punchy)

As for sweet ones, raspberry, classic! Perfect! The pumpkin maple was very pleasant! (Cookies & crème was meh, but my husband liked it.) these all were perfectly tasty at room temp. Heating didn’t really improve them all that much, and made the pastry softer. (I liked the bite of a room temp pastry. I used to eat room temp unfrosted pop tarts when I was a kid. lol!)

I was also talked into getting the frosted brownie, since it’s a bestseller. but I’m not a frosting person, so it ruined it for me. It was much better after i scraped the frosting off. (Loaded with chippos!)

The jalapeño cheddar bagel bomb was really nice. The bread part itself had a mild sweetness that complemented the jalapeños nicely. ‘Twas gooey.

The croissant was tender and delicate, although more bready than flaky pastry. The biscuit sandwich was good, but not as good as the croissant (buttery and flaky). We also grabbed a jalapeño cheddar biscuit on its own which was also very tasty! (But the texture was ever so slightly gummy, likely because of the cheez. Heating improved it a bit.)

It’s frustrating that the website has no general “may or may not be in stock”menu, instead leaning on Instagram for providing information, but I don’t have Instagram, so I was completely in the dark. I was nervous that they wouldn’t have anything savory, but they did, and we had a lovely quick brunch before continuing our drive. They keep some items warm in a little oven behind the counter until 3 pm, so that’s really nice if you’re wanting a super quick warm meal. (And it was also good that we bought too much food, because Hershey park doesn’t have a whole lot of stuff for vegans, so we ended up finishing the leftovers when we got back to the hotel.)“

“Ordered a birthday cake for my mom’s 50th from Kia’s and I cannot recommend them more. I worked with Rachel, and she was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to fulfill my requests. Someone else mentioned before, better to turn around on Veteran Dr and then back up in to the yard because YES it is tight and there is no room to maneuver in the yard. I guess you can back up on to the docks for overnight parking.

“I was introduced to these cookies years ago, and they have become my go-to choice for special occasions for many reasons. First, they are absolutely delicious! Second, I appreciate their business practices. Just yesterday, I ordered some cookies, and although they usually ship the next day, they weren't able to get into the shop due to the ice. I received a thoughtful phone call from a man named Mike. He informed me that they typically do not ship on Fridays, but given the inclement weather, they would be making an exception. The donut had thin flaky layers and was accented by a not too sweet cream and orange zest. The crab meat croquet was a panko crusted pillowy delight. Inside was filled with potato,veggies and the crab meat. Always pleasant to visit!“

I heated them up for 30 seconds in the microwave since the Uber driver had a few stops along the way and took 1 hour for delivery. They were so fresh and delicious. “The new owner at this location, Lou, was very kind and accommodating. I had placed an order for pretzels online a few weeks ago while the store was under the previous ownership. My order was unable to be completed due to the equipment being down on the day I was supposed to pick it up. I was told by the old owner that he would leave my receipt at the front and I could come in and pick up the pretzels anytime. (after the equipment was fixed) I stopped in yesterday to find a new owner and no record of any reciept at the "front". I explained the situation to Lou and although he didn't even own the store at that time, he wanted to make it right and sympathized with my situation.
