“Okay I've been looking for a good new pizza Place relatively close to me and this is right by my work so it's perfect for a after work pickup... many places that were my go to have went down hill so i was looking for the perfect place... i found it... so first of all they got this little gimmick where if u order online u get a free order of (3) breadsticks which were delicious think Olive Garden but better. Two thumbs up for the car ride home snack... okay now the pie, the pizza, the Italian treat... this pizza is so good it's the perfect combination of sweet and zesty, first of all the sauce is good isn't overly sweet but isn't overly acidic which i like this is the perfect balance, the cheese is good exactly what u want isn't no cheap garbage cheese either, they have the cupped pepperoni which is my fav and they also have amazing sausage... some pizza places have little ground up sausage that's more grease than flavor and isn't enough meat to actually chew on, it's like sausage bits which i hate but this place has big chucky chunks of delicious sausage... anyways this is gonna be my new go to pizza place... i hope they keep their quality because it is quality... and other places have gotten the big X from me as they aren't good anymore this is The Pizza to get“

“This place is a must try if you are in Greensburg, Jeannette, or Irwin! The atmosphere is awesome and the service and food are even better!! We got the doughly Parton breadsticks and three different types of pizza and everything is amazing!! It is small so I would recommend making a reservation on a weekend but it’s so nice because the employees are so attentive and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need!! If I could give more stars, I would!!“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Love love love Frankstown Wood fired Pizza! I crave it everyday. My boyfriend and I like the margarita pizza. So much so that we get it about once a week. Workers and owners are very kind and make delicious food. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients of both the toppings and dough in every bite. “Neat little space. Initially drawn here by a Facebook event claiming “free jazz”. It was a musician playing a giant xylophone-esque instrument and ended up being a delightful time. I ordered a glass of wine and was served an extremely hefty pour (no complaints here). Our server was really kind and checked on us intermittently, and ended up chatting with us for a while. Hope to go back one day when it’s nice out for a sit on the patio as it was pouring down rain while we were there.“

“Alta Via is definitely a favorite place of mine now. Tonight was my third time coming, and our server Eddie was absolutely amazing. He saved our night! (We had a horrible experience at another resturaunt, so we left and came to Alta Via in Market Square!) He was so attentive to our needs and really went above and beyond! “Went to Fontanas for a bite out and to hear our favorite duo, "Let's Duet." Got chicken wings, fries, & fried pickles. Everything was very good! Quick service and the food came out quick and hot, despite it being busy. Also had Ellicottville blueberry beer on tap....delish! It's a small bar with maybe 12 tables and some seats at the bar. Nice local watering hole! Glad we came and hope to stop by again!! Give it a try.“

Yes, Joe is our cousin and that is definitely warm and wonderful but Louise, Joe's matriarch, was there too which made it extra special. All food made to order fresh and it definitely shows the attention to every morsel we enjoyed. Oh, the bread is made locally and it's the best. “My wife and I stopped in on a whim for dinner. Great decision! She had the rigatoni diablo and I had spaghetti and meatballs. Our dishes were delicious, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and fast. The decor was not fancy but the restaurant was clean and neat. All in all a great place to go for a satisfying Italian meal!“

“They make really good sandwiches. I had the Italian sub. The bread was soft and chewy and the fillings were tasty. I will probably go extra meat next time just because it tasted so good. My wife had the fish sandwich. This was no little fish sandwich! The filet of fish hung out a good 3 inches in each side of the bun. It's a plain sandwich with just the fish, but it was light and flakey (you can add cheese, tartar or ketchup. I would definitely recommend it.“

“Went there years ago when I worked in the area. I ordered a large pepperoni and wings. These wings were whole ones and tasted great. I got the light spice. They were very good and the pepperoni pizza was as good as I remember years ago. They also now accept cards they were cash only before. Can't wait for my next order.“

“Well The Hood made his way to Monroeville Pa! Stopping at the coal pizza to try it. Well… the food was good had some white pizza and wings with dry rub ( recommended by our server, wings that is). Not a fan of the dry rubs but this wasn’t bad… Th e pizza was burnt on the edges but it’s their style but it was still good. Had spinach artichoke dip and it was great! Got a chopped salad also and it was delicious! Recommend both! So overall food was good. Service- excellent! He kept an eye on us and checked often if needed anything! “We were in town for a hockey tournament, and looking for a place for dinner. This place is a gem. Great wait staff, and a quiet ambiance for conversation. Not a big place, but just the right size for date night or if you want to have conversation at dinner. Food was served fresh, bonus points for having fresh pasta!“

But you can't go wrong with Brooklyn's and I'm SOOO glad that they are back.
