“Huh... The negative reviews for here surprise me. I've been getting take out and delivery from here for over ten years and although the food quality varies at times I feel it's always above average for taste. I really like the food from here and I recently took a few friends here and they really enjoyed the Lo Mein. I don't get anything fancy though. Usually just egg rolls or shrimp rolls, pork fried rice, Sweet and sour chicken etc. Still, I never got a bad meal here and service was always good if not exceptional and the prices are average for this type of food. A very good value and a good meal, so a solid 4 stars from me.“

“Since new Owner (Linda) has taken over this establishment, it has become my "go to sushi joint"!! Their sushi chefs (John & Yanni) are both amazingly talented and they have created custom sushi rolls for me according to my preferred fish and other ingredients. Presentation is awesome as is the freshness and tasty items they prepare. Linda and her Manager (Cindy) are so welcoming and very attentive to their guests...making everyone feel like a VIP!! Highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Just moved here & wasn't sure where to choose. Normally, we look at the reviews. Golden Kitchen was rated the highest. We ordered & now are permanent customers!! Food arrived on time, fresh & hot!! “This place always delivers fresh hot food to us quickly ! They always critique our food to our liking every time with no mistakes. I can't recall ever having any issues, and we call this place usually at least once a week. I love their bourbon chicken, pork fried rice, general tsao chicken, and teriyaki chicken on a stick are some of our favorites from them. Staff is wonderful and very very polite, delivery drivers are always quick and personally thank you every time for the tip.“

“A beautiful Chinese restaurant in the Prospect Park area. It’s nicely colored and decorated inside giving it an authentic atmosphere. The food is really good too, very tasty and fresh quality. I tried it for the first time this year and was genuinely pleased.“

“Consistently good food! Only ONCE in 23 years have I received a meal that wasn't something to rave about! I like spicy, had to tone it down recently cause you can't eat super spicy forever! I love spicy black bean sauce. My daughter loves pork & eggplant. Egg rolls are always good and I love hot and sour soup. Their rice is just the right sticky! Soo good! “THE BEST & MOST DELICIOUS AROUND !! No lie. They are called Yummy Yummy for a reason. You need to try the CRAB RANGOON because I have never had any other that even comes close. “I don't understand the bad reviews. Can't speak for the years old ones but I have lived near this establishment for the last 6 months and it is way better then it is portrayed on yelp. The staff is kind and hardworking. It is clean and you can see the chefs cook right behind the counter. The food is fresh and hot every time. It is classic Asian cuisine that's is made well. Nothing I've ordered from here has been bland. They don't use MSG because my wife is allergic to it and would have reacted with migraines. Ordered Mongolian beef it had good flavor and little spicyness to it. Crab Rangoon's were a surprise they had great flavor. Also wanted to comment on the fried rice. It is a broth based fried rice which could be disappointing for some. For example my wife isn't crazy about it. She prefers the soy sauce based fried rice with eggs and veggies with protein. But it doesn't mean this rice is bad. It's a simple fried rice with choice of protein and onions. Basically you will get what you order fast, fresh, and it will taste great.“

“Hunan Palace is take out only. That doesn't bother us at all. This was our first visit. The food here is much better than our former Chinese restaurant. We ordered a variety of items; springrolls, general tso chicken, beef and broccoli, bbq spare ribs, chicken on a stick, vegetable lo mein. We felt the springrolls could have used a little more flavor but that's just our opinion. Every other dish was excellent. Plenty of sauce on all the dishes. The spare ribs were tender and moist not dry or stringy as they can be from other restaurants. Their chicken on a stick is prepared differently than I had ever had it. It had a light coating on it. No dried out, leathery chicken here! We will definitely be making Hunan Palace our regular chinese restaurant.“

“OK this is an extension of Happy Wok and they make it fresh. You want to call ahead to order, it so you don't have to sit and wait for it. they do not deliver, which is the only downfall but I'm sure you could order through DoorDash or something like that. The food is delicious and my favorite is shrimp. Szechuan shrimp very good with lots of vegetable and there's so much shrimp nice large size shrimp I think there's 10 to 12 large shrimp in it and it's enough for two dinners, full dinners very nice and rice and very good, my husband likes to get the bourbon chicken and he loves it“

I'm used to crispier Gen Tao, but the sauce had a nice kick. Take out or dine in. For take out, I recommend that you order once you arrive because everything stays crispy and fresh if it doesn't sit around. “Out of all the places in delco, this places without a doubt had the best sushi/sashimi. The tuna and salmon they use doesn't have an excessive amount of water in it which makes it sooo much more flavorful! I can't go anywhere else for sushi now that I've had this place. Definitely give it a try if you're in a mood for sushi.“

“King Garden is highly recommended for local chinese food in N. Wilmington. The kitchen and owners are very clean. The owner also listens and does her best accommodate for food allergies. Their vegetables and meats (especially the shrimp, chicken & pork) are always fresh. Only one time did we get some broccoli that was subpar, and when we brought it back to show them they quickly apologized and gladly provided a credit for our next takeout. I didn't need a special receipt or anything, the owner wife remembered us the next time we came in. Tina knows her regular customers! Parking is the only negative aspect to this great restaurant. Navigating in and out of that parking area with a Wawa on one side and a very popular Italian restaurant on the other side is often a challenge especially at peak hours or on weekends. King Garden has two designated spaces allotted to their restaurant and most times you can find one available. If you can, back in to make exiting much easier & safer.“

“Been coming here for years! Love their food! very fresh taste. I get General tso chicken with white rice and a veggie roll to top it off! For my drink I always get a pink lemonade but the regular iced tea is good as well. Not too sweet or watered down. Hope this helps someone ?“

“Ok this review is in 2 parts.1st: I can only say the meal that was prepared was spot on. The General Tso Chicken and steamed dumplings were fantastic with just enough spice and heat that I can only wish other Chinese restaurants could replicate.2nd: Because I'm only visiting the area for work and not a local, I really felt I was on the wrong side of the tracks where this restaurant was located. And I visited during the daylight hours.Will I order again..... sure. It was that tasty.“
