“I am closing in on 40 and have been coming to this restaurant since I was a small child, some of my earliest memories are family dinners at Da Chen. The staff here are amazing— kind, attentive, helpful, and generous. Their house made duck sauce and crispy fried wonton chips ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. Do not sleep on them if you only ever order take-out! You receive the crispy wonton chips with any soup order, but you have to ask for their homemade duck sauce on the side (costs like 25¢ iirc)!!! My favorite foods from here are: wonton soup, their complimentary jasmine tea, shrimp toast, beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, general tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, and the bao bao platter (it’s such a fun treat eating this for dine-in). You will always receive the same quality service and food here, and somehow over the years it’s even gotten better! Da Chen is child-friendly and has high chairs available to use, and is wheelchair-accessible straight from the ample free parking lot and into the restaurant. Da Chen accepts cash, debit or credit. “Got general Tso chicken, pork fried rice and an iced tea for $10.50. No idea how they are able to charge this little but the food wasn’t bad at all. The pork fried rice was a lil blah, next time I will just get white rice. I didn’t call to order and my food took a lil while but I was very happy with the general tso chicken. Will order again.

“Food is delicious, nice and hot! Lady working there was quite pleasant and accommodating. Store was very clean when I came. Floor had just been freshly mopped and smelled of bleach. I placed a big order which was made quickly. Shrimp and broccoli, shrimp fried rice, General Tso chicken, and fried wings. Everything was fresh and very tasty! Will order here again 😋“

My experience with this place has always been great. My whole family loves the food here. The owner is amazing and gracious. Moreover, they are very geared toward service and customer satisfaction. My favorite is Beef Lo Mein, and the other dishes are equally as great.

Definitely call and order, don't use the online ordering cause the fee is ridiculous, like you could order an entire additional pint of anything on the menu with what you'll save calling in your order. General Tso's is always delicious tho sometimes I wish it was a little crispier. For whatever reason their Lo Mein is pretty bad anymore, used to be great. Food is always ready very fast, even delivery arrives really quick compared to anywhere else we order delivery from.

Let me tell you something. I have had great wings from many different places across the country as well as other countries.
These are literally in my top 10 places for wings. I've just discovered this recently and I wish I'd known about this before.

Also, which is very important, the kitchen is literally spotless. I've never seen a kitchen so clean. Especially for a takeout place. That is very noteworthy.

“Ordered delivery. The woman that answered was really nice. Food came fast and nice and hot. Guy that delivered was also nice. We ordered chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce, pepper steak and onion and 2 orders of wings and hot oil. Everything was fresh and delicious. Online ordering can be finnicky if ordering Lunch specials though, the site's clock seems to think it's an hour later than it actually is so you can't submit an order containing lunch specials after 2pm despite them being available until 3pm. You get an error telling you it's after 3pm & that you have to change your order, however calling to order them was no issue.“

“My brother and I decided that we desired Chinese food after a long morning and afternoon of doing errands on this Friday, February 26th, 2021. This was our last stop and I decided to stop here because I am a regular at Planet Fitness, which is within walking distance. My brother ordered spare ribs, while I ordered a small Wonton soup(My absolute favorite Chinese dish), shrimp and broccoli with brown rice and an egg roll. The gentleman that waited on us, told us that the entree of shrimp and broccoli, the egg roll comes with it. We took it home and ate it. The wait wasn't long and the food was worth the wait. We will be back. My brother and I enjoyed our food. A good experience!!!

Friday, January 2, 2026 - I decided to come here after a wonderful workout at the Edge Fitness Center in Deptford, NJ. I had a taste for Chinese food. It was okay this time. I was disappointed about the brown rice. I asked for brown rice and they gave me white rice with brown sauce. I thought that was taking the easy way out. Also I asked for steamed shrimp with mixed vegetables. I received a lot of broccoli and maybe one carrot and some small mushrooms. There were not enough mixed vegetables. There should have been more mushrooms and carrots., I will check my food the next time that I order Chinese food or any food at all. Also the Won ton soup, which I ordered a quart size, was mostly water and not a lot of won tons. The shrimp egg roll was good. My experience was ok today. However I do not think I will be returning here again. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants to patronize besides this one. Have a good night, workout, be fit and fabulous especially since its a new Year. Good night.“

“I've never been to the store (I can't speak to the atmosphere) but I have been ordering regularly for a while now. The fried chicken wings (whole wings) are the best thing ever. I don't even like fried chicken fr, but the meat falls off the bone and the batter they use is perfectly seasoned. It's nothing too crazy which I like but it's still crunchy and they're equally good cold as leftovers. I've also tried the "plain broccoli" (it comes in a brown sauce), veggie fried rice, veggie egg roll, and steak roll. They use fresh broccoli every TIME and you can tell it is not frozen, they cook it a little al dente which is nice cause I hate when it's waterlogged or soggy with the sauce. They used fresh veggies in the veggie fried rice and cook everything perfectly. Their homemade ice tea is bomb and the container came NOT sticky/not spilled which in my experience always happens when you get it delivered if its not wrapped in plastic. super fast and accurate w the delivery orders. a+ on everything. 10/10 recommend.“
