“Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican,and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“

Booth was comfty, mood lighting was romantic, music was a bit odd for the setting (latin-ish vibes) but not distracting. Drinks were great, had the bartenders choice which resulted in a good interesting drink. Lots of liquor options too and snacking food looked solid.“

“What a great happy hour! The bartenders are attentive and personable. The bartender, who was serving us, made a special drink for my wife who wanted something with vodka. He nailed it and she loved it. The Ripp fries are an absolute must if you want a delicious bar snack. We also tried the squash blossom (recommended by the bartender) and it was amazing. “I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“Enswell is a gorgeous restaurant (even the loo is worth a visit... think high gloss burgundy and wallpaper) and bottle shop, and the service is some of the best I've experienced in the city thus far. The sausage was so good, the flat white was excellent, and the potatoes are perfectly crispy. You're in a great neighborhood for roaming, some light shopping, and people watching. Highly recommend and so happy we spent our Friday morning at a sweet little two-top outside chatting with our server-- great way to start the weekend.“

“Very nice establishment I discovered it sadly after howl at the moon closed.... for its size it is close corners at times but still great I personally luv the low key lighting for the chandler's and high top tables around to welcome random goers :) last Saturday I came and the bartender made a great old fashion tonight I stuck with a basic drink ? with in 10 -15 second not making it up I was greeted and served ? absolutely worth coming again ?

“Came to the neighborhood to look at a rental unit so I popped in here for lunch. Staff was welcoming, drinks were inexpensive, the Angus burger was delicious. Bar tender was super kind and the other patrons we're super sociable. I will be popping back into this place periodically. Hidden gem ♥️“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

We don't do FANCY dining all that often, but this place had a great, relaxed, retro vibe with some really (for us) adventurous dishes. First, The Continental is lesss John Wick and more “Lincoln”, as you'll see from the car seat booths. The French Onion Soup Dumplings were fantastic, and the service was spot on. “Let me start I did read all the bad reviews before heading over there so I didn’t have great expectations.However as a cheapskate and a craft beer lover especially searching for my lessor common styles of beer, I typically go by each bar and restaurant in airport and scan QR code to see beer selection and check pricing.Most places here in Philadelphia Airport straight rip off at 16 per pint, but when you want a beer you’re stuck. Anyway when I first approached the counter I was absolutely expecting to be poked since they didn’t show prices only beer menu.Luckily they had something for me that I was going to purchase regardless, A nice strong Golden at 8%.I was then blown away upon seeing I got a 20oz, normally higher ABV beers are served in smaller 12oz glasses. Any full pour of 20oz was only 10 bucks and I was expecting at least 20, left me room in budget to not only get 2nd beer plus a pretty solid hotdog and chips.Biggest plus was Connor the bar tender, was super cool and attentive, and then informed me I was safe to take my cup and walk back to my terminal, since I walked a fair distance just to check out all beer options.Lastly, unlike most other restaurants In airport it’s kind of obvious if your paying attention that their section is not owned and maintained by airport, as most restaurants have tables and chairs with chargers that kind of blend from restaurants into gates, so I kinda understand their right to ask people to patronize their business or ask them to leave, I was lucky to find a spot at the bar.Not excusing anyone ever treated rudely, and definitely not my experience.“

“Went with a friend for a last-minute reservation after another restaurant didn't work out. They got us in despite being quite busy, and the service couldn't have been better. Food was amazing - fresh and sizable enough portions to be filling even for traditional seafood. The heirloom tomato salad was amazing and the small plate sampler was perfect sizing with shrimp, scallops, crab legs and oysters.. Will def go back, and glad to have found such a great new spot!“

“Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. I started off with the fried green tomato tower, all the different flavors was like a party in my mouth. Next I had the lemon, dill salmon, I'm not a huge fan of asparagus but that was nicely cooked and tasted good. A nice size homade biscuit and jam. My husband had the smoked mac n cheese, the catfish po boy and spinach. The spinach was nicely seasoned and tasted so fresh. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going back.“

“This was my second time here. I went a couple of months ago and I ordered the same type of tacos (cauliflower). The tacos this time were much more flavourful, had more sauce/seasonings. I also had the same margarita and it was also much improved.

I was there with a party of 8. Service was great and one of our party was running late. We weren’t rushed and were asked if we wanted to wait to order food, which I really appreciated.

Our party included meat eaters, vegetarians, and gluten free (celiac, not by choice). There were multiple choices for everyone. Everyone thought their meals were really good - and this is a crowd that frequents Mexican restaurants.

I have celiac disease and can tell within 30 minutes whether or not I got exposed to gluten. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options, from drinks to the food. I was assured that what I ordered had no cross contamination and they don’t put other items in the fryer that they use for tortilla chips. I had heard that they had stopped doing this a few months ago from an online review - but seems like they have a dedicated fryer for their chips again. I did not have a reaction!

The rooftop deck is beautiful and just a wonderful atmosphere. The entire restaurant though is thoughtfully decorated and the murals are gorgeous. Also really thrilled about supporting a local who clearly put a lot of thought into opening a restaurant here in East Falls and making it such a wonderful experience.“
