“Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican,and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“

“Awesome speakeasy style bar. Small (15ish tables plus bar space) and doesnt take reservations. Got lucky that there was a table open when we walked in as it was the last one. Booth was comfty, mood lighting was romantic, music was a bit odd for the setting (latin-ish vibes) but not distracting. Drinks were great, had the bartenders choice which resulted in a good interesting drink. Lots of liquor options too and snacking food looked solid.“

“What a great happy hour! The bartenders are attentive and personable. The bartender, who was serving us, made a special drink for my wife who wanted something with vodka. He nailed it and she loved it. The Ripp fries are an absolute must if you want a delicious bar snack. We also tried the squash blossom (recommended by the bartender) and it was amazing. “Very nice establishment I discovered it sadly after howl at the moon closed.... for its size it is close corners at times but still great I personally luv the low key lighting for the chandler's and high top tables around to welcome random goers :) last Saturday I came and the bartender made a great old fashion tonight I stuck with a basic drink ? with in 10 -15 second not making it up I was greeted and served ? absolutely worth coming again ?

Of course fancypants mcgee here had to go for the most expensive cocktail on the list, but The Waldorf is absolutely worth it! (Tobacco Road and Bombay Moon were beautiful too don't get me wrong)
Next time I'm in the area I'll try a few of their enormous assortment of whiskey's, I counted like 170ish on the shelves, lord knows what goodies they have in their secret stash... well worth the trip ?“

“This place is so cool! I don’t drink but I think it’s really unique to blend a coffee shop with a whiskey bar. For those like me, they have a ton of coffee options and non alcoholic options that feel unique and special. Great cozy vibes inside too.“

“I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“Enswell is a gorgeous restaurant (even the loo is worth a visit... think high gloss burgundy and wallpaper) and bottle shop, and the service is some of the best I've experienced in the city thus far. The sausage was so good, the flat white was excellent, and the potatoes are perfectly crispy. You're in a great neighborhood for roaming, some light shopping, and people watching. Highly recommend and so happy we spent our Friday morning at a sweet little two-top outside chatting with our server-- great way to start the weekend.“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“My wife and I just visited this place for the first time, and I really liked how friendly and welcoming Brian was. The drinks were excellent, and I loved that they were all zero alcohol. My wife doesn't drink much and prefers zero-proof options. I also appreciate that it's an LGBTQ-owned establishment. It has a very homey vibe, making you feel like you're hanging out at a friend's place. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the drag karaoke but we did not realize there was an event and had only planned to stay for a drink or two. We will follow for the events from now on!“

I sat at the bar and the bartender was nice, informative, and provided well placed service. I had the octopus with the collards, the hasbrowns with crab and uni, and the sea scallops as my main. the penicillin milk punch was so well balanced. my white wine paired well with my scallops. “Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. I started off with the fried green tomato tower, all the different flavors was like a party in my mouth. Next I had the lemon, dill salmon, I'm not a huge fan of asparagus but that was nicely cooked and tasted good. A nice size homade biscuit and jam. My husband had the smoked mac n cheese, the catfish po boy and spinach. The spinach was nicely seasoned and tasted so fresh. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going back.“

“This was my second time here. I went a couple of months ago and I ordered the same type of tacos (cauliflower). The tacos this time were much more flavourful, had more sauce/seasonings. I also had the same margarita and it was also much improved.

I was there with a party of 8. Service was great and one of our party was running late. We weren’t rushed and were asked if we wanted to wait to order food, which I really appreciated.

Our party included meat eaters, vegetarians, and gluten free (celiac, not by choice). There were multiple choices for everyone. Everyone thought their meals were really good - and this is a crowd that frequents Mexican restaurants.

I have celiac disease and can tell within 30 minutes whether or not I got exposed to gluten. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options, from drinks to the food. I was assured that what I ordered had no cross contamination and they don’t put other items in the fryer that they use for tortilla chips. I had heard that they had stopped doing this a few months ago from an online review - but seems like they have a dedicated fryer for their chips again. I did not have a reaction!

The rooftop deck is beautiful and just a wonderful atmosphere. The entire restaurant though is thoughtfully decorated and the murals are gorgeous. Also really thrilled about supporting a local who clearly put a lot of thought into opening a restaurant here in East Falls and making it such a wonderful experience.“

“i went to the library bar on a date and it was so beautiful! For those who are NOT Philadelphia natives like myself, The Library Bar is located INSIDE The Rittenhouse Hotel. When looking it up, it says that, but it’s easily overlooked if you’re not paying attention or not familiar with the area.
