“Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican,and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“

It was a vanilla-raisin old fashioned. I enjoyed it so much I have re-created it to the best of my ability many times over. You will love this place!“

“My wife and I came here for our date night Friday for half price pasta happy hour. We were greeted at the door by owner Wyatt who was very welcoming and passionate about his menu. He suggested the hen which came out sizzling with a crisp skin that bursted into a juicy body when I cut into it.
My wife and I split two pasta dishes which were perfect portions to share. We also got a cheese plate and some fun mocktails on our server’s recommendation. All the staff was working together and we had a great time sharing in all the goodies.

I ordered their take on fish & chips: sesame-crusted cod with a miso caramel glaze, paired with garlic creamed kale (I never realized kale could taste this good) and purple sweet potatoes. It’s the kind of dish where everything just makes sense together and I legitimately can't stop thinking about it.

We ordered half the menu and shared everything, and there was not a single miss. The pastrami egg rolls were my personal favorite, but I need to go back to try the burger. “I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“Pleasant surprise stopping in Flight Club. Sat at the bar and had food and drinks. The staff is genuinely amazing; friendly, helpful, attentive without being obnoxious or instrusive, and just fun. Mark the bartender is not only a master of at his craft, he's just good people. Will be back!“

“Izzy's is my Fri night go to after getting off the train. James, Brian, Justin and the rest of the crew provide a warm welcome and great service. The hand rolls are excellent! It's really noisy and space is tight, and every once in a while I meet someone new for an interesting conversation. And it's just fine with everyone if I roll up with my New Yorker magazine for a quick bite on the way home!“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“
