“Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican,and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“

Booth was comfty, mood lighting was romantic, music was a bit odd for the setting (latin-ish vibes) but not distracting. Drinks were great, had the bartenders choice which resulted in a good interesting drink. Lots of liquor options too and snacking food looked solid.“

“Ripplewood Whiskey REALLY impressed me. The food is not only creative and unique - it’s insanely delicious. I ordered their take on fish & chips: sesame-crusted cod with a miso caramel glaze, paired with garlic creamed kale (I never realized kale could taste this good) and purple sweet potatoes. It’s the kind of dish where everything just makes sense together and I legitimately can't stop thinking about it.

“I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“Enswell is a gorgeous restaurant (even the loo is worth a visit... think high gloss burgundy and wallpaper) and bottle shop, and the service is some of the best I've experienced in the city thus far. The sausage was so good, the flat white was excellent, and the potatoes are perfectly crispy. You're in a great neighborhood for roaming, some light shopping, and people watching. Highly recommend and so happy we spent our Friday morning at a sweet little two-top outside chatting with our server-- great way to start the weekend.“

“We happened upon this place from an on-line search. If you dine here, you won't be disappointed!!!!. One of our party has celiac disease and the chef came out to personally discuss her preferences. A couple of us ordered the tuna. It was perfectly cooked. Another had the Lobster Risotto, with an ample portion of lobster. Our server was top notch. We would return in a New York minute.“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“Very cool restaurant located closet to Rittenhouse Square. We went there for Sunday brunch and ate in the enclosed upstairs patio area. “My wife and I just visited this place for the first time, and I really liked how friendly and welcoming Brian was. The drinks were excellent, and I loved that they were all zero alcohol. My wife doesn't drink much and prefers zero-proof options. I also appreciate that it's an LGBTQ-owned establishment. It has a very homey vibe, making you feel like you're hanging out at a friend's place. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the drag karaoke but we did not realize there was an event and had only planned to stay for a drink or two. We will follow for the events from now on!“

“This was my second time here. I went a couple of months ago and I ordered the same type of tacos (cauliflower). The tacos this time were much more flavourful, had more sauce/seasonings. I also had the same margarita and it was also much improved.

I was there with a party of 8. Service was great and one of our party was running late. We weren’t rushed and were asked if we wanted to wait to order food, which I really appreciated.

Our party included meat eaters, vegetarians, and gluten free (celiac, not by choice). There were multiple choices for everyone. Everyone thought their meals were really good - and this is a crowd that frequents Mexican restaurants.

I have celiac disease and can tell within 30 minutes whether or not I got exposed to gluten. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options, from drinks to the food. I was assured that what I ordered had no cross contamination and they don’t put other items in the fryer that they use for tortilla chips. I had heard that they had stopped doing this a few months ago from an online review - but seems like they have a dedicated fryer for their chips again. I did not have a reaction!

The rooftop deck is beautiful and just a wonderful atmosphere. The entire restaurant though is thoughtfully decorated and the murals are gorgeous. Also really thrilled about supporting a local who clearly put a lot of thought into opening a restaurant here in East Falls and making it such a wonderful experience.“

“TCR conshy is one of the premiere cigar lounges in the area. Others don't have all of the amenities offered here. Excellent drink selection, steady cigar selection with rotating stock, live music on certain nights, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and to top it all off one of the best smoke ventilation systems around!“

“i went to the library bar on a date and it was so beautiful! For those who are NOT Philadelphia natives like myself, The Library Bar is located INSIDE The Rittenhouse Hotel. When looking it up, it says that, but it’s easily overlooked if you’re not paying attention or not familiar with the area.

“I was excited to hear we have a new restaurant offering something different for the area and it lived up to my hopes! Lots of options for dim sum, noodles, and some regional dishes like Chongqing chicken make this different from most of the standard fare American Chinese options nearby.

We had spicy pork bun, gyoza, scallion pancakes, and the chicken cumin noodles. All were good but definitely recommend the buns and cumin noodles in particular!

Our order was ready in under 15 min on a Friday night, so it seems they're getting into the groove. Definitely will come again the next time those cravings hit for dumplings or noodles!“
