“Absolutely absolutely a gem. I selfishly wish fewer people knew this place so I could spend less time waiting to get in lol... The drinks are amazing. The atmosphere is excellent. The speakeasy-style makes it very cozy and good for chatting with friends and having a nice time. This is definitely going to be my go-to place.“

“What an unexpected and delightful discovery Andra Hem turned out to be. Though my time there was brief—a stop for a cocktail before dinner—it left a lasting impression. The ambiance is dark, intimate, and richly decorated, exuding an understated elegance. Seated at the bar, I was treated to a custom cocktail crafted with impeccable attention to my preferences by the bartender. The speakeasy vibe added a layer of intrigue that drew me in completely, leaving me eager to return and explore more of what this hidden gem has to offer.“

“Drinks are great! I stopped in with my son, they are doing a special (kids eat free) don’t know how long it last. The staff is friendly and helped me with getting my stroller out. I had the pastrami egg roll along with a salad( can’t remember what’s it called)but it was yummy.“

“Great selection of freshly prepared and innovative food. Would definitely recommend the Mushroom Flatbread to share. Their “Fish & Chips” was delicious and boasted unique flavor combinations. Service is timely, and the ambiance is quiet and relaxing. Would come again if in the area.“

“I love Char & Stave. Their cocktails are top notch! The space is really inviting. They host live music here and have trivia. It’s a good time here. It’s also a great place to grab a drink before heading to a show at Ardmore Music Hall.“
“Very nice establishment I discovered it sadly after howl at the moon closed.... for its size it is close corners at times but still great I personally luv the low key lighting for the chandler's and high top tables around to welcome random goers :) last Saturday I came and the bartender made a great old fashion tonight I stuck with a basic drink ? with in 10 -15 second not making it up I was greeted and served ? absolutely worth coming again ?
Kid-friendliness: Friendly bartenders and front door host“

“I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“I had an event Sunday here at Midtown Social. Hosted a brunch for my daughter. Everything was amazing. Mike and his team went above and beyond. The food was delicious, Mike made recommendations and everyone loved it. Atmosphere was good, they played some great music. I would highly recommend Midtown Social for your next event. Thank you Mike, Rob and Emma.“

“Had a few drinks here with the lovely bartender Alyssa(sp?!) looking out for me and showing me the good stuff. Of course fancypants mcgee here had to go for the most expensive cocktail on the list, but The Waldorf is absolutely worth it! (Tobacco Road and Bombay Moon were beautiful too don't get me wrong)
Next time I'm in the area I'll try a few of their enormous assortment of whiskey's, I counted like 170ish on the shelves, lord knows what goodies they have in their secret stash... well worth the trip ?“
“We stay at the Cambria every year for PAX and the Treble & Bass is always a highlight of the day. Unwinding after a day on your feet in a cozy bar with great drink options. Our bartender Kevin was awesome! Great to chat with, on point with the beverages, and playing great music.“
“Came to the neighborhood to look at a rental unit so I popped in here for lunch. Staff was welcoming, drinks were inexpensive, the Angus burger was delicious. Bar tender was super kind and the other patrons we're super sociable. I will be popping back into this place periodically. Hidden gem ♥️“

“Truly the best DelCo has to offer. Their dishes are delicious and I’ve tried almost all. The produce is stunningly fresh and all the orders are cooked with care and to perfection. Both brunch and dinner are impecable. The drinks are next level providing Ridley Park with a neighborhood bar worth going to. A lovely dining room with many types of seating and an attentive and efficient staff round out the whole experience.“

“An old favorite but was disappointed this time...One of things we love about this place is the ever-changing menu and the interesting combination of ingredients and flavors. We started with the endive salad which was outstanding but it went downhill from there. The brioche was too crunchy and oily (but the escargots and tomatoes topping was very good); the enoki mushrooms were a little overpowered by the other flavors; the oyster mushrooms were quite charred; and the fish was overcooked. Drink-wise, also did not think much of the "void essence" cocktail - was a little bland for me. Service as always as excellent.“

“What a nice little surprise to find this place for drinks. I ordered the "Inolvidable" and it was truly unforgettable. The best cocktail I have had in Philly and possibly the country.
I went back to have dinner and the food is outstanding. Not only do they have the best cocktails but the food is really authentic and delicious.“

“My family and I (5 of us) were visiting Philly this weekend and were looking for a nice brunch place. Continental Midtown was perfect. The food was amazing. I had the Chilaquiles. The flavor was pure yum. I ate every morsel on my plate. My wife loved her Eggs Benedict with Salmon. The eggs and sauce were perfectly cooked. The service was perfect. Our server, Sela, was so hospitable and sweet. She took our order and the food came out quickly as if it just came off the grill. Will certainly return the next time we are in Philly. Wish I took some photos of our food but we devoured it in no time.

“Let me start I did read all the bad reviews before heading over there so I didn’t have great expectations. However as a cheapskate and a craft beer lover especially searching for my lessor common styles of beer, I typically go by each bar and restaurant in airport and scan QR code to see beer selection and check pricing. Most places here in Philadelphia Airport straight rip off at 16 per pint, but when you want a beer you’re stuck. Anyway when I first approached the counter I was absolutely expecting to be poked since they didn’t show prices only beer menu.Luckily they had something for me that I was going to purchase regardless, A nice strong Golden at 8%.I was then blown away upon seeing I got a 20oz, normally higher ABV beers are served in smaller 12oz glasses. Any full pour of 20oz was only 10 bucks and I was expecting at least 20, left me room in budget to not only get 2nd beer plus a pretty solid hotdog and chips.Biggest plus was Connor the bar tender, was super cool and attentive, and then informed me I was safe to take my cup and walk back to my terminal, since I walked a fair distance just to check out all beer options.Lastly, unlike most other restaurants In airport it’s kind of obvious if your paying attention that their section is not owned and maintained by airport, as most restaurants have tables and chairs with chargers that kind of blend from restaurants into gates, so I kinda understand their right to ask people to patronize their business or ask them to leave, I was lucky to find a spot at the bar.Not excusing anyone ever treated rudely, and definitely not my experience.“

“I had superb food throughout my week in Philly but this restaurant topped the lot. Food was absolutely fantastic - every dish a flavour sensation. Service was also faultless, & the greeting warm. It’s an upscale affair, set within a beautiful character building in the posh part of town, but the vibe is low key & unpretentious. Loved every minute!!“

“Delighted with this addition to the neighborhood. Lively and lovely venue from the good folks at River Twice, the Passyunk Avenue spot. The menu is stunning, with crowd pleasing dishes like the Hash Browns with Peekytoe Crab and Uni (a delicious combination of hot and cold, soft and crunchy), Caesar-like Salad, Country Ham with Squid Ink Biscuits, and Sweet Amalia Oysters. Whole Fried Black Bass is like a sculpture set in the center of the table. Cocktails are excellent. The chicken is a very large portion. Most plates are share size. Many people order the Grande Plateau, which looks like a lot of seafood.“

“Absolutely stellar place. It’s vibrant and colorful and the food is perfect. The plantains, chicken tinga tacos, and Cresta guacamole are three knockout dishes but most everything here is going to knock your brain to the back of your skull and have you speaking Spanish by the end of the meal.“

“i went to the library bar on a date and it was so beautiful! For those who are NOT Philadelphia natives like myself, The Library Bar is located INSIDE The Rittenhouse Hotel. When looking it up, it says that, but it’s easily overlooked if you’re not paying attention or not familiar with the area.
The atmosphere was intimate, relaxing, and definitely an overall vibe. This is a great place for drinks among friends, a date, or even if you’re wanting a solo date in a place with a great atmosphere🤍✨“

“It was fine, manager was nice enough to serve us while the server was busy. Food was delicious.
Was pleasantly surprised by the meatballs, chicken parm sandwich and pan fried mortadella.
Would prefer other options rather than just fries with the sandwich.
Bathroom needs to be cleaned a little better.“

“This place is a great spot for brunch! My friend told me about this great brunch spot so I had to try it. Their biscuit board was so good, the mimosa’s were the perfect mix, and the food was on point. Kevin is the acting manager and he always made sure that we were happy and well taken care of. All the staff is friendly which made it a fun atmosphere to dine it, plus I love the throw back music. This was a perfect addition to my Sunday, I will definitely be back!“

“The cutesttttttt underground restaurant I’ve been to in Philly that reminds me of New York. The aesthetics reminds me of a diner from the 90’s with LED lights on the wall. Just to inform you, if you go on the weekend DEFINITELY make a reservations just in case. We went to chika ramen bar on a Saturday but that was the day of Billie Eillish’s concert and the Phillies game so it wasn’t that pack but before we entered they did asked us if we had a reservations. The 2 seater table was cute but not very much spacious for my boyfriend and I because we ordered so much food hehe. They gave us time in between our appetizers and entrees to give us space on the table. I started off with a deckard cocktail and it was fruity but wasn’t strong which I like. I also loved the foamy top of the drink. We then ordered the tuna tataki, hamachi crudo, and spicy tuna rice crisps. Omgggg I can eat these 3 appetizers everytimeeeee. The raw fish was not really cold as I hoped it would be but it wasn’t warm, almost room temp. That kind of stood out to me but I didn’t get sick after so that was a good sign. The tuna crispy was deliciousssssss, the texture and the taste combined was everything plus some. For our entrees, we ordered the spicy chicken miso ramen and it was good as well I actually liked the broth and everything that was in it. We also ordered the poke-mon bowl… it was sooo good it was like a mixture of everything in a bowl. The flavors combined were delicious and it was definitely fulfilling. As a dessert, I decided to have the nexus-six and I’m sorry but it was disgusting. The cold foam was good but the espresso was absolutely disgusting. For 15$, the drink was super tiny, I should’ve just ordered another deckard. Other than that everything else was amazing.
Parking: Really hard to find street parking so we got there on an electric scooter and parked our scooter in the motorcycle lane.“

“Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican, and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“
