“I have tried many chinese food restaurants in my life and this one is decent priced. It's best to order at least 15 minutes ahead of time. I ordered a few times now and the food is good for the price. I'd say most things I ordered were a 9 out of 10 and I liked them. So far egg foo young and the cream cheese rangoons were the best things, seasame chicken was really good too!! They are very busy at dinner time so you may wait a bit longer but it is worth it, and I can tell you work so hard and fast! Thank you I liked everything you have made so far!!“

“My favorite spot to grab some yummy Asian food. They are some of the nicest people as well. Get the homemade dim sum if you're a dumpling fan, as they are perfection. Everything else is always fresh, hot and on time. They don't get enough praise locally, but have been serving 15068 for at least 30 years.“

“Atmosphere is great , PF Chang's is our go to after movie dinner spot as it gives us time to unwind and talk about the movie. Drinks are amazing, we opted for the Margaritas versus cold Sake and was a niche change up. And we did the 3 course dinner for 2 because it had our favorite appetizer lettuce wraps and perfect meal choices. It seemed like our portions were bigger this time and cooked to perfection! Service was fast and helpful, we enjoyed this dinner a lot.“

“Love this place. It's one of those lil hole in the wall type spots. Their lunch specials are unbeatable, under $8 for a full meal. The food is all cooked fresh and really good. The place is clean and staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!“

“Absolutely the Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. The food was amazing. Huge portions and the service was great. The only thing off was the place is set up like it’s Covid still and the seating was all blocked off. Two stars taken away for that on atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and asked twice to make sure I ordered the right thing. Definitely recommend.“

“I enjoyed the eggplant chicken here and even though mine was served a little spicier than I had hoped, they offered to replace it without my needing to ask. They just saw my face turning red a gave me some cold water to drink. Sadly, their standard in most food prep is to use large presliced, brined garlic - not the best. Other reviewers have commented on this. Their food would be absolutely amazing if they used fresh, unbleached garlic! It was, nonetheless, pretty delicious and a great lunch value!“

“Reading the previous reviews made me give this place a try...they didn't have anything the previous reviewers rated on the buffet. The buffet was a little over $14.00 and plus a tip puts you at $17+...do not come here for the buffet is the lesson here...everything was basic, veggie lo-mein, oily plain fried rice, rice noodles, string beans...ect ect. Everything you would find as expected at a buffet. They did have one pretty authentic tomatoes and egg dish I haven't had since I was a kid in Taiwan. Other than that everything else was ok.“

“Largely a run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant, but the quality of the food puts it above many local contemporaries. Everything I have ordered has been hot and well made, with ample portions for the prices. The restaurant itself was closed for dining for a number of years due to the pandemic, and it's still not a place I'd dine in at, since the dining room is pretty dingy and outdated, and basically seems like an afterthought for the aforementioned takeout business, which always seems quite busy. The service is pleasant, but seems a touch understaffed for demand, so expect your order will likely take longer than the the average Chinese takeout place, and you may be waiting a bit longer than the initial prediction. But for the overall enjoyability of the food, it seems worth it. Definitely a decent takeout option for the area.“

“Taipei is by far the best sushi and Chinese restaurant in the Fox Chapel area. The servers are courteous and the specialty sushi rolls are noticeabley larger and tastier than Jimmy Wan's. In my opinion, Taipei also offers a better selection than Jimmy Wan's. We also appreciate Taipei's complimentary fried wontons served before each meal and orange slices provided at the end of service. This family-friendly restaurant always make us feel at home.“

“We had an amazing time. The food was delicious (General Tso's Chicken and Mongolian beef were my favorites, but everything was incredibly tasty) and the owner was gracious and accommodating for our larger party. Will definitely be back, can't recommend it enough!!!“

“Ordered takeout here for the first time tonight. We ordered some staple dishes and we were told 30 minutes to prepare. I arrived at 30 minutes on the dot with the order waiting. In and out, no complaints. There are tables to dine in, but it's a small strip mall style restaurant so capacity is probably not more than 30 or so.
The chicken on a stick was flavorful, grilled well and not dried out as it tends to get at some places. Initially I didn't think much of the wonton soup. The broth tasted very thin from what I'm used to, but eventually it took on a very prevalent ginger flavor and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. There was very little other than broth and wontons though, only a few slivers of green onion.
The Mongolian beef was very good flavor-wise and peppery, which is how I like it, but the sauce was watery. I don't know if they forgot the cornstarch or what happened. Next time I come here I intend to try their "Hot Spicy Beef" whatever that is...
The General Tso's was excellent, again with a very pronounced white pepper flavor which sets it apart from others I've had in the area. Also not very sweet, which was appreciated. The sauce was sticky without being cloying. I would definitely come back for this and would recommend it to any connoisseurs of General Tso's.
The pork fried rice and chicken lo mein were both satisfactory no-frills Chinese takeout. I would have liked a little more depth of flavor in both, but Lin's Garden has me spoiled there.
All in all, a great little spot to add to the rotation. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent flavors of the main courses. I'm excited to try a few of the other standards and see how they measure up.“

“This is the best restaurant in Pittsburgh bar none.
I’ve eaten most of their giant menu and haven’t yet been disappointed (though I just don’t understand seaweed knots, anywhere). All the fish and pickled veg dishes slap, their hand cabbage is my fav, they do whole fish and duck very well, the saltnpepper and flaming pan stir-fries are solid, their American-style dishes are a head above counter take-out places; even their fortune cookies are better than standard Canto spots.
I usually take out, but when I eat there, it’s even better.
They also once came out and offered us water when we were walking around with our kid on a hot day. I love this restaurant.“

“So I went to this place right before they were about to close and they still allowed me to order to dine in instead of having to get takeout ... the atmosphere was extremely laid back, with relaxed oriental music playing but low enough to just be a background sound... for food I ordered Beef and Broccoli no rice and it was delicious... I bought a diet Pepsi but didn't even touch it, I enjoyed their water... great place good portion and if I had rice would have definitely had lunch the next day.... loved the presentation big Chinese place, chop sticks.... would recommend to all my friends and family...
thank you Wai-Wai“

“I came here to try the peking duck and I have got to say it was one of the best I have had in the area so far. I got the full duck, skin and meat (I have been to some places that only give you part of a duck and hardly any skin) not only that but I got plenty of pancakes, green onion, cucumber, and hoisin. There was easily enough for 4 meals, since I was eating alone. It only took about 30 minutes for them to prepare the duck which is pretty good and average for this kind of meal. The service was great, I am sad I wasn't able to dine in but I definitely understand.Next time I am in the area I am definitely returning not only to get the peking duck but to try more of the meal. I am throughly impressed with this restaurant and can't wait to return.“

“Food is excellent every time we eat here and the staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is nice, but the place is so spacious that it makes it feel like they are empty. Overall, they are probably the best Chinese takeout in the Holiday Park/ Monroville area.“
“This is my first time visiting a small town and I had the pleasure of dining at this local Chinese restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. My friends and I ordered a wide selection of dishes and each and every one of the dishes were amazing. There was just the right amount of favors and they were all VERY delicious. The portion sizes were also very generous and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided. The service was outstanding. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations.I speak for both me and my friends and we would 100% recommend this to anyone!“

“As someone who grew up outside of NYC, I am very particular about Chinese take out. No. 1 Chinese Kitchen in the Penn Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh is a solid 9/10. Egg rolls were crispy and delicious. The soups are outstanding (tried egg drop & hot and sour) and the dumplings are on par with an absolutely outstanding garlic dipping sauce. Entrees are very good, but I've only tried two - egg foo young and sesame chicken. Egg foo young is on par with NYC - will definitely get again!! Sesame chicken is a touch too sweet, but I prefer more savory over sweet dishes. Will definitely get take out from them again!!“

“Terrible service, terrible food. Don't eat here.
Edit: I'm editing this review to 5 stars. Originally, I reviewed this location when it was called iNoodle. Thankfully, that place has closed down. Since there's a new restaurant owner, I believe it's fair to remove my previous 1-star review.“

“They were very quick to take my order and prepare my food. I just stopped by on a whim to get takeout. Lunch was little under $8 and very tasty. More reasonable than fast food and much more tasty. “Classic comfort American-style Chinese food. We did a take out of crab rangoon (10 out of 10), beef with hunan spicy sauce (9 out of 10), and orange chicken (7.5 out of 10). Great service, generous portion, and so worth it for the price!“

“Hands down the best Chinese food I have *ever* had. Incredible. I ask for flavor and spice and boy did they deliver!!! I can’t wait to try everything they offer. The wait staff was kind and responsive. The environment was quiet and optimized for conversation. This is not your everyday “take out” Chinese. Respect the culture and order authentically. “I got their Yo milk boba tea today and I highly recommend and would recommend all of my friends here! The boba is chewy and soft, not hard like other stores. I would say this I’d the most freshest boba in Pittsburgh :) The egg tarts are also baked daily and have a fresh crust to them— will be back for more! ❤️❤️“

“I was hungry after school and decided to take my boyfriend out to eat. We both loved it!! But the only knit pick was the flavor that it needed, but it was overall good, nice, and hot. We made sure to tip the owner after we left. The food was overall good, but it needed flavor.“

“Well was going to eat in but dining room closed due to staff shortage - well that's what sign said. Ordered to go sweet n sour chicken, extra sauce and included white rice. Didn't understand what silverware was, maybe my mistake for not saying utensils. Said 10 - 15 minutes. I think it was 5. Super hot chicken. Sauce was good. But rice tasted like it was made days ago and reheated. But it was just white rice.“

“Solid American-style Chinese food, good quantity for the price and pretty fast, too. Chicken was packed into the tray and I was happy to find some meaty broccoli crowns, too, stems and all.The sauces could use a little tweaking. Didn't get a lot of citrus flavor from the orange chicken unless I spooned out a big glob of sauce or a piece of peel; otherwise, it didn't taste that different from my partner's sesame chicken.“
