“Places like this are always *really* good or *really* bad!!! This one was excellent, I was pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing. The food was standard casse-croute-type food, but it was delicious and great value. It's rated 3.9 when this review was posted, but should be much higher.

Edited to add - the hours are wrong. Google said it was closed at 5pm on a weekday, but it was definitely open.“

“We came across the restaurant walking back to our Airbnb and they seated us despite it being a bit late. The service was thoughtful and fun. I’d recommend them for lunch or dinner. The goat cheese salad was creative and excellent. The pulled pork potato flavors all in perfect balance. Everyone enjoyed their dinners and the desserts were absolutely amazing! Thank you for such an enjoyable meal.“

“We had dinner here last night and it was incredible!! From the moment we stepped inside, it is such a charming restaurant & atmosphere. Being celiac, it was truly amazing to be able to eat onion rings deep fried and not have to worry about any cross-contamination. The batter was so light and tasty. My hubby's poutine was gigantic, full of bacon & chicken. So good! Strongly recommend that you check out this restaurant if you have the opportunity to do so! Thank you Veravin :)“

“We had dinner for my father-in-law's birthday. Benjamin the “French” was our server. Outstanding service, welcoming with a touch of humor, around absolutely divine dishes, a memorable evening.

Parking: Free parking for stays of less than 2 hours, but it's impossible to sit down and eat starter, meal and dessert on a Saturday evening in less than 3 hours. But it is inexpensive so very satisfied. Except that access from the parking lot to the restaurant is blocked, so we have to go through the automobile corridor.“

“This restaurant is connected to the Quebec City Marriott Downtown. Had a wonderful meal of a shared beet salad, with goat cheese and salty, candied walnuts, followed by duck confit that was as decadent as you’d want it to be, served with thinly sliced, semi-crispy potatoes. My wife had a Reuben that was grilled to perfection on marble rye and curry coleslaw. As we’re from New Jersey USA, coming across an exquisite Reuben outside of a Jersey diner is a wonderful discovery. We also tried three of their menu gin drinks, none of which were too sweet. I fine meal.“

Eventually, that became too much of a hassle, so I showed them a photo of a review I had searched on Google Maps and ordered the same thing. We shared a sweet crepe and a vegetable crepe. I was more worried about the sweetness, but it turned out to be better than I expected?. It's a delicious restaurant with many repeat customers. “The food was AMAZEBALLS. We enjoyed all the dishes and drinks we ordered, especially the delectable cod and the fowl. The cod was cooked to perfection and the sauce was plenty and so flavorful, complimenting the vegetables well. And the fowl was crispy on the skin but still so juicy inside with a rich sauce.

All the food was not only presented beautifully, but also used fresh local ingredients. Their cocktails were also refreshing, with fun creative recipes.

Additionally, the server was warm and welcoming, and the interior/ambiance was cute. (Sort of rustic chic?)

“We ate breakfast/brunch here on a busy Saturday morning. Our server, Laurent, was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely was a nice person. All meals were excellent. I had the Classic, my wife had some eggs Benedict and another had the French toast. For the French toast, we were going to take a picture, but it was eaten before they remembered to take the photo. We included a shot of the last bite!)

My Cafe Latte was excellent and included with the breakfast.
