“We are visiting and stumbled across Au Pied dr Cochon. Everyone there was so helpful in getting us a table even though it was very busy and our waiter Emile was absolutely wonderful! He gave us great recommendations and great service. The food was absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend!“

“One of the best meals we had in Montreal, and we particularly enjoyed the Bluefin Tartare, Maitake, and Kohlrabi. The sauce used for the Kohlrabi had a nice spicy punch which was really nice. The Grassfed Angus Beef was juicy and tender too!

“Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre sortie au Vin papillon. À deux, nous avons partagé cinq plats et c'était suffisant. Ils étaient tous succulents, un seul a été légèrement décevant. Mais dans l'ensemble, considérant la qualité de la nourriture et des vins servis, le service et l'ambiance, c'est un restaurant très facile à recommander.“

“Une autre visite pour un souper improvisé chez Toqué! en sortant d'un musée. La météo avait causé des annulations et nous avions le choix d'une table ou d'une place au bar. Avant même d'ouvrir la porte, le valet nous reçoit en souriant, ce qui règle pour nous la question du parking. L'expérience commence bien avant d'entrer. Pas de menu dégustation pour nous cette fois. On choisi des entrées, plats et desserts, tous avec un accord de vin. Il ne faut pas se gêner de demander des suggestions au sommelier. Un autre sans faute. Service professionnel et chaleureux. Des plats inventifs et savoureux.“

“Tucked away at the back of a church this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. We sat at the chefs table and were able to see all the food being prepared and ask the chefs more details about the food. We had the wine pairing menu which was excellent. Our server was very accommodating as one of the wines was not to our taste and they quickly replaced it with an excellent choice. The flavours in each course were delicious and made want to savour every bite. We will definitely be returning to Restaurant Candide again.“

“I dined here on July 12, 2025 so my review is quite late. The staff may remember because when I told them the name of my reservation they made fun of me and were like “Gary’s here guys, table for Garyyyyy. Gary???” I thought it was hilarious and so did my gf.

Anyways the atmosphere in the summer was amazing. Seated outside around the ferns on the back patio. My gf and I had an outstanding dining experience. Had a very nice bottle of quebecois wine. Enjoyed some corned beef croquettes, the pickle salad, some delicious zucchini, this chicken and clams dish and the steak frites. Finished off with a basque cheesecake and this really refreshing vanilla ice cream and strawberry sorbet dessert that really hit the spot on that extremely hot day. My gf was very thankful I ordered that ice cream in that moment, it came in pretty clutch.

Our server was awesome, very helpful, chill and attentive. He looked like the son of the hotel concierge in home alone 2 and I found that pretty funny. Yeah this place was amazing, we loved it.“

“Went here last night with my wife, and 10 year old daughter. Great location, wonderful and friendly staff. We had raw oysters, lobster fettuccine, risotto, bone marrow, a couple drinks and dessert. Was great food, and experience. We would definitely return next time we are in town.“

“What an exquisite atmosphere! I could hardly tell the difference form this restaurant from the actual cave i visited in Afghanistan when i was 12 years old. They served me a samosa that was an absolute delicacy. I prefer these samosas to the indian ones!!! The servers were incredibly polite despite the fact i do not understand arabic! 10/10!“

“Don't be fooled by the gaudy colors and neon, there is excellent ice cream in this little shop. The flavor combinations are excellent, and just as importantly the texture is spot on. I had some horrific vegan ice cream earlier in the day (which I literally threw away!) and was quite wary of Meu Meu, but it was delicious. I appreciate being able to sample the flavors first as well.“

“Our first time at Brasserie Bernard. Very busy (a good sign!), vibrant and beautiful restaurant. Our food was good (oysters, French onion soup and steak & frites were delicious, the burrata salad less so). Recommended wine pairings were great. Service was excellent and very friendly. “We were greeted warmly and seated immediately, which started things on a good note. The pros: overall, we enjoyed our food and our cocktails. Both were well prepared and tasty. Cons: The experience fell short in other areas. The restaurant lacked ambience and decor, which made the atmosphere feel flat. The service lacked warmth and attentiveness. We had to flag down a server to get salt and pepper, and our soup arrived without spoons. We even had to ask twice for ice for our sparkling water. I had mentioned it was my cousin's birthday when booking, and we were asked again when seated if it was a special occasion. I mentioned again that it was my cousin's birthday. I thought they would bring her a dessert with a candle, but nothing was done. Why bother asking if it won't be recognised??? Unfortunately, we left feeling underwhelmed with an overall unmemorable experience. I wanted it to be a special meal for her, and I can't really say it was.“
