“The owner Nirvana is such a lovely warm lady and so generous..we took 6 yummy manakiches zaatar cheese and mixte one, it was so fresh and tasty..(the best for now in Montreal area) and 2 juices and we wanted to pay i found out that my credit card is not with me and not enough cash..she refused to take any $ and offered in plus biscuits to my kids when she knew that we are new in town and first time to her shop..she reminded me of our real lebanese culture of generosity and welcome vibe, Thank you again..we will be always going there and tell everyone about this great experience

A little disappointed by the sacher, I was expecting the traditional recipe based on apricot compote and kirsch syrup, I was surprised to find pieces of pineapple!
It's expensive, but it's worth it.

“This bakery is a gem in our city. Where croissants are everywhere and most are terrible. Pain d’epi croissants are consistent and buttery, they are not spongey or dense. In fact they are what you always wish a croissant to be .

Their mini quiches are AMAZING. I would recommend the mini sizes over their regular sizes, the mini quiche have a more golden and crispy crust than the large size. What is really great is that they are more than happy to prepare an order for you if you let them new a few days in advance

They make beautiful almond croissants (you have to show up in the morning to get one, they sell out quickly). Personally, I find their chausson aux pommes and Danois aux raisins to be the superstars of their Viennoserie selection.

I have been frequenting this place since it opened and i will say for a very long time they were very inconsistent in quality and poor service for a long time but i think there was a change of ownership and there is so much more consistency, every croissant is perfect, the sandwiches are far superior now and the service is far better.

My only complaints:
I wish they had more stock for the afternoon/post work hours. I understand that’s a logistical nightmare but still a little disappointing.
Their cakes and sweet patisserie fridge items are not at the same quality as the boulangerie items. I hope this changes.

I write this review fully aware that I can be a demanding customer. But I do appreciate their manager a great deal and the work they put into their product. It’s not easy owning a business but I am happy to continue to support them“

“Brossard Bagels makes excellent bagels, plain and simple. We had breakfast bagels and sandwiches and everything was very tasty. The bagels had a great texture with a bit of a more crunchy outside, but soft inside compared to the bagels in our area in the US which are more chewy.“

The ham egg and cheese I'm there croissants with pesto was A huge highlight. The staff helped us and was very friendly and doing so. I did notice that if you try to engage in French but let them know that you don't speak French, they will speak English and be very helpful. That's not just in that establishment that is a citywide thing. If you are a tourist, please take the time to learn a little French to engage in conversation. But if you're looking for a good breakfast spot or just somewhere to stop in for a coffee and a croissant or the ultimate dessert, the kouign amann give this place a try.“

“Love a gluten free bakery, and this one is no exception. It's tough seeing the pasteries around Montreal and not being able to partake, but this helped us feel included. We ordered delicious empanada, which we ate right away (served warm), and then we also got croissants to go, both sweet ones and giant savory sandwiches we could take with us. “They have very good Armenian pizza and many other baked goods. You can pick up a quick and inexpensive breakfast, lunch, or supper. They sometimes sell out of Armenian pizza so if you know ahead of time that you want to pick some up, it's best to call and let them know so they can prep extra and put it aside for you.05/07/2022As good as ever.
