“Delicious pastries. Yummy ice cream. Checks all the boxes for comfort food. Perfect location to stop for a snack while walking along our waterfront. Last year I made it about half way through the menu. My goal this year is to try every single pastry on the menu!“

We ordered a latte, an americano, and numerous baked goods, including mini pizzas, focaccia, and chocolate croissants. Everything was absolutely incredible! It is so rare to find a fully vegan cafe that offers this level of quality, especially at such a fair price point. Even though it was very busy when we visited, the employees were so kind and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience. “We had a salmon bagel and a filled pita, it was really very good! The portions are generous, the manager and his colleague are very cheerful and super nice. “Japanese vibe coffee. Music is beautiful and relaxing. Excellent service. We had two iced specials (Matcha Sakura and Hojicha Lavender), the black sesame cake, miso brownie, sencha madeleine, earl grey donut and matcha donut. We also had two hot drinks: matcha latte and hot chocolate hojicha. Everything was great, taste is delicate and refined. Highly recommend this place.“

“Very good latte, the notes are potent and you can choose light or dark roast espresso. Scones are nice and crunchy. The latte does get a bit cold quickly which is fine for me cause I like to drink it fast and not too hot, but would have liked a heads up cause I wouldn’t have waited to drink it :)“

They also have many different flavour cakes, coxinha, pão de queijo, brigadeiro and beijinho. All traditional to Brazilians!“

“Lovely Parisian style bakery in the heart of Little Italy. There is a variety of sour dough breads, brioches, croissants and sweets. Coffee also available! Fresh and high quality ingredients and bread is always warm, fresh out of the oven. The sour dough bread is impressive. Friendly and helpful staff too.“

“I do my yearly trip here at Purim to get my hamentaschen, and they're always perfect. They're still warm sometimes, which is the best ever. You always have to queue but the line moves very quickly because they're super efficient. Can't recommend enough“

You have to try the raspberry croissants - but they go very quickly in the morning, you have to be quick.Update >> My partner and I discovered that the breads produced here are significantly better than those produced by other bakeries. I bought a Camus loaf elsewhere and from the first bite, my partner asked me: "You didn't buy it at the bakery around the corner, did you?"...So warning: if you get used to the quality of the products of this bakery, well... “This is a really wonderful shop. I visit friends in Montreal about once a year and come back to Mamie Clafoutis each time I visit specifically for the Abricotine and pistachio croissants. They are so delicious and well made. The staff is always patient, efficient and friendly too. It's a nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee and pastry. I appreciate that they have filter coffee and that it is also very good. I have had sandwiches too and they are also very nice. It might not be possible to find something that wasn't highly enjoyable here.“

“I get my bread at Ecodep on Laurier. Having an irritable colon, eating sourdough bread is preferable. He is one of the rare bakers to make bread only with sourdough. The only downside is that the spelled loaf is not always available. Kamut bread is quite digestible on the other hand.“

“I had Uncle T. last week and found it way both too sweet and too salty. This, on the other hand, hits the spot. It is perfect. If you know German Käsekuchen--the original inspiration for Japanese-style cheesecake--and soufflé, then this is the perfect meeting of the two. While they are not cheap, they are worthwhile. (I had a plain cheesecake).“

“Brossard Bagels are amongst the very best to be had anywhere in the area of Montreal. If you are on the south shore and you have a craving I strongly suggest you stop by this wonderful place. What’s more they have many other delicacies that you can enjoy, including vegetable samosas (my favorite) Various sandwiches and other tasty treats. Their bagels have a fairly good shelf life meaning after five days. They have not yet gone stale, which is a good thing. Parking: There aren’t that many spots. It’s all about the timing. But you can always park in the mall parking across the street and run in! ?“

“A local gem. I live a short walk away and stumbled upon this place and gave it a try. The service is super friendly, the two wonderful women who work there are very kind and seem to have a whole conversation with everyone who arrives. The place itself is nothing super fancy but the quality of food and the wonderful service always makes it a joy to go to. Avoid their cookies, because as others have noted they are fantastic and addictive. I will be coming back again and again ?“

“HIDDEN GEM!!! I stumbled upon this cafe while looking for a French boulangerie and it did not disappoint!The food is absolutely amazing, I got the creme brûlée, which they burned RIGHT FOR US!! Also I got a red velvet cookie with white chocolate and it was mouth watering :) The mochaccino was a piece of art really! Everything was fresh and delicious.The service is soooo FRIENDLY!! They help you with everything, anticipate your every thought. I was a bit lost on which coffee to choose and they saw it and helped me immediately, asked whether I prefer a coffee of a strong or a mild type, I never was asked that before in a cafe, the level of service my god :)The atmosphere was amazing too, not too many people like in some other cafes on the same street, not noisy and the view from the window makes you feel like you are in Europe! “Ok guys, this is serious. It’s the best fresh pizza in Montreal PERIOD. Everything is AMAZIG, I often go for the tomato pizza (classic always the best), the bread is fluffy and taste really fresh. There’s no acid taste left and the tomato are like clouds. Nice people for the service, authentic and friendly. Also they have buns, panini bread, sliced bread, if you’re a sandwich lover, you can find the best Italian bread for your sandwich at home. And finally if you are in little Italy, you will find at Marguarita Italy in Montreal.“
