“3/2025 - Best sandwich of 2025 ✅👍 Slick on-line ordering (Clover) and it was ready BEFORE it was supposed to be. Only ate 1/2 for lunch.....and looking forward to a snack later....... Plus 2 dinners to go for later in the week or to freeze…. This place has been on my list since whenever I saw it on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives….. A+ and TY Kerry for the catering info.“

“I’ve been here a few times for lunch, and it never disappoints. Most of the time I order the chicken parm sandwich and fries. It’s always been good, every time I’ve ordered it.
They have a pretty extensive menu of Italian-American style food. A lot of pasta, sandwiches, pizza, etc. I’d never tried the pasta, but we’ve ordered pizza before, and it’s pretty good.
Whatever I’ve ever ordered from here, no matter what, it always comes out piping-hot, which is great.
The chicken parm sandwich was no exception, the super crispy chicken cutlet was crispy on the outside, and tender and flavorful inside. It held up very well to the lava hot marinara sauce it was covered with, and the mozzarella cheese-pull was the best. This place is definitely in my rotation of chicken parm sandwich spots.
The inside of the restaurant has weird decor. I guess it’s supposed to look like somebody’s grandmothers living room. I guess it does sort of. There’s a bunch of random old photos and items on the wall that makes it look dated.
The food is usually really good though, and I will definitely be back for more chicken parms.“

“This was an excellent amazing incredible dining experience!! We walked in late afternoon on a chilly Saturday afternoon. We were asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. The restaurant was maybe 1/3 full. We were seated at the bar which we actually really enjoyed. The menu had many tempting choices. We decided on a glass of wine for him and a Pumkin head for me. As an appetizer we chose the meatball appetizer and the warmed spinach salad! Both really very tasty! We chose a traditional margarita Neapolitan pizza - absolutely delicious!! But what really really stood out to us was Brian!! His clear passion for his craft and his restaurant was so crystal clear and we loved his enthusiasm!! It was clear his staff were all happy to be their best and the repeat customers on either side of us who professed their love for the place made us ask…. How can we get one of these in our town!!?? We will absolutely be back in the very near future!! Brian, his staff and their food all have us anxiously awaiting our next meal among friends at this fabulous place!!!“

“Rhodes Pizza never disappoints! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you’re craving pizza. On my last order, I had a special request for the pepperoni to be cooked extra crispy, and they nailed it—perfectly crisp without being burnt. It’s always a great sign when a place not only listens to special requests but delivers them spot on. Service was friendly, order was ready right on time, and the quality speaks for itself. Highly recommend Rhodes Pizza if you’re looking for a local spot that gets it right every time.“

“My family has been going to the Son’s since my grandfather (Papa Lou) moved across the street over a decade ago. We hosted my daughters 16th birthday party in the upstairs hall and had a wonderful time. Everyone is very welcoming and I just love the popcorn served. It is a great place!“

“Been patronizing Angelo's for years (years & years) - it's my 'Go To' place in Providence for Italian. There are plenty of good Italian Restaurants but Angelo's treats you like family . My favorte server is Thera - always smiling - always friendly - and always flying around the resturant making sure everyone is happy. My recommendation - ask for her :-)“

“One of my favorite restaurants on “The Hill”. The dining experience at Massimo is always a 5 star experience. Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent. I've struggled with finding an Italian restaurant I'm comfortable eating at for years! Our server, Morgan, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe while eating here! I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! “I grew up in RI and now live far away. When I come back home, Christy's is a must stop. ! am fortunate enough to have shopped at liquor stores all across the country and the world. Today I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Deborah. Wonderful conversation, wonderful experience. Had what we were looking for and more. I've been shopping at this liquor store for years and just met her today. There is a reason it's right at the top of my lists as my favorite stores. There is no hometown bias, it's a great store sincerely and anyone looking for a good experience and a business worth supporting should shop here.

“Many restaurants promise a special dining experience but don't fulfill that promise. Dolce & Salato does. It is a truly unique and wonderful dining experience. The food is amazing!! And Armando is so engaging. It is a small restaurant that allows Armando to interact with his customers and treat them like family. We took a friend there for her birthday. She is quite an oenophile. So when Armando said that there was no wine list; that once you told him what you liked he would choose a wine for you, I was a little concerned. To my surprise she loved what he chose!! So much so that she bought two bottles of wine as Christmas gifts before we left. My friend said the Cacio e Pepe was the best she had ever had. My eggplant parmigiana was also the best I had ever had. The sauce tasted so fresh and homemade. Unlike any sauce at most restaurants. This my sound like hyperbole, but it is the simple truth. Dine there and see for yourself!“

“Bellavista Restaurant has such a beautiful and elegant atmosphere. the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and relaxed. The service was absolutely impeccable, from the owners personally coming to our table to greet us, to the friendly waitress and skilled bartender who made sure everything was perfect. Everyone was kind and attentive, especially our waitress who was so patient with the children and made the experience even more enjoyable.

The food was delicious with generous portions, and every dish was full of flavor. Our favorites were the Chicken Marsala and the Grilled Chicken Alfredo — both were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The drinks were also very good and complemented the meal perfectly.

“Been going there at least once a month on Saturdays because there is a waitress named Patty. Been to many restaurants and Patty is the absolute best. Food is very good..not exactly pure Italian, but will make you come back.
The interior is small..I would guess, 15 tables.

“My husband and I went for the first time on Saturday and sat at the bar. We ordered apps and cocktails and of course oysters. Best oysters in RI by far believe it or not. Drinks were ok but food fabulous! Would have given 5 stars if not for the bartender. She focused solely on my husband the entire time even gave him a free drink. It was very obvious and blatant disrespect to me. My husband even commented on feeling uncomfortable. As a former bartender the general rule is to pay more attention to the wife than the husband out of respect but also because most often the wife is writing the tip. We will for sure be going back but will sit at a table and maybe only order sparkling water.“

“What do I recommend….Absolutely everything ! This is the Italian restaurant experience everyone should have. You’re treated like family. The food is absolutely delicious. Every dish that came to our table looked and tasted like the main ingredient is love.
