“Great cocktails, appetizers and dinner, but ONE MAJOR DETAIL OVERLOOKED- when we made our reservation for our party of 6, we specifically asked for a candle in a dessert as we were celebrating a birthday in our party. We enjoyed our meals and eagerly awaited dessert- but the only surprise was that we got the check! When I mentioned this to our (otherwise very good) waitress, she said she wasn't advised of the birthday....very disappointing!“

“Do not live here if you care about your car. On two separate occasions my car was vandalized and my roommates car was stolen from the off street parking. The landlords have done nothing to improve the security.“

“This little restaurant, raw bar, bar bar is not messing around. They handle their shellfish perfectly, cold, crazy fresh, and masterfully shucked. I recommend just a dash of the mignonette to just highlight the delicious flavors of the posters. The bartender told me the raw scallops have never left the menu so I ordered them. I can see why they're almost a signature of GH. The bok choy pancake is really good but strangely filling. Plenty for 2.

The cocktails are well mixed.

“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

“Juncal Mexican Grill & Bar in Cumberland, RI, is truly a hidden gem!! Everything was homemade and delicious!! The “hot sauce” is a must! The drinks were refreshing and mixed just right. The guava moscow mule is a must try! The service was amazing too. Everyone was so friendly and attentive—they really made us feel at home. The warm churros are served with hot fudge and caramel… absolutely delicious. If you’re craving authentic Mexican food, great drinks, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe, definitely give Juncal a try!“

“Great atmosphere! And Christine our server was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. She checked on us consistently- thanks! I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! “Great place and wonderful food good service“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“Was in town for a weekend on leisure and loved everything about this place. Ambience, music, the pear and honey margarita was a highlight. Special shoutout to Bianca, who handled the Saturday rush seamlessly and has an infectious personality. You could tell she brings the best out of her clientele and colleagues.“

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

“Amazing, Authentic, and Delicious Liberian experience and Joel (1/2) of the JoRo name origin was so personable and hospitable, I only wish I had time to have gone back several times 🤭

“Been coming here since their initial location in Greenville. Went to their new location and loved it. Definitely smaller, but loved the intimate setting. Especially when guests embrace the concept. It’s like you’re all experiencing dining together prompting conversation with strangers gathering for the common love of food. Love everything about this new place. “Had an incredible meal there last night! The buffalo chicken egg rolls, the Rogue Melt, and the lobster Mac & cheese. All amazing! I’m more of a vodka drinker but the beer selection was incredible and our waiter helped me pick the perfect wheat beer! 100% I’d go back (when in town). A definite 2 thumbs up!“
