“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.”

“I seriously cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We were greated by a very friendly man who offered suggestions on the menu. He pleasantly asked if we were happy with our food. The food is AMAZING. I got a gyro wrap, my husband got a gyro platter. The portions were huge and absolutely delicious. My husband eats more food then you could imagine and it made him stuffed while not sacrificing quality or flavor. The meat just melted in your mouth and the flavor was out of this world. We got two baklavas and I cannot even explain how good they are.”

Colton was our server for lunch. He was very tentative, very helpful and made sure our drinks never went unfilled. Our family of 5 is very pleased with our experience.

“I recently dined at this restaurant and came away with a generally positive impression, though there is definitely room for improvement regarding their sushi portions. Right from the start, the overall atmosphere was great; the entire dining area was spotlessly clean, and the service was consistently good and welcoming.

For my meal, I decided to sample a couple of their signature sushi options. We ordered the Caterpillar roll and the Kamikaze roll. In terms of construction, both rolls suffered from a bit of an imbalance in their ingredients. The Caterpillar roll was filled mostly with cucumber, leaving only very small, sparse bits of eel inside. Similarly, the Kamikaze roll was packed with too much crunchy cucumber, which slightly overwhelmed the spicy tuna mix.

However, despite the rolls being skimped on fish and overloaded with vegetable filler, the quality of the food was still quite high. Every bite was remarkably fresh, clean, and tasty. The flavors are definitely there, and the kitchen clearly uses good components. If the chefs can balance out the ratios to include a bit more seafood and less cucumber, this place would easily earn a top rating from me.”

“Squeeze Inn has the best burgers in town and honestly, they should be considered one of the best burgers in the USA.

Every time I stop by, I see the same people working, and I love that it is a true family owned local business. As a business owner myself, I really appreciate seeing that kind of consistency, pride, and hard work.

The burgers are incredible. The meat always tastes fresh and is cooked perfectly, the cheese skirt is truly one of a kind, and the produce is always crisp and fresh. You can tell they care about what they’re serving.

I love this place and will continue being a customer every week. Thank you guys for making my day every time I stop by for lunch!”

“On, Friday, January 24th we came in as a large party (9 adults, and 10 children) with no reservation for a poorly planned birthday celebration. We came in around 4:30, and were told they didn't have the space to accommodate us right then, BUT they would have their large room available in an hour when the waitress running the room started her shift. I know we were so lucky it was available but I just appreciated so much being accommodated considering our poor planning. In the future we will be sure to make a reservation well in advance. We managed to kill an hour, and when we got back and seated in the large room, we realized quickly it was worth the wait. It's a large room with a door, that we had primarily to ourselves the entire time. Our amazing waitress got an order in quickly for breadsticks (which were so delicious) to keep the hungry kids settled. Which was very appreciated. She was just so patient and kind with our chaotic group. She seemed at ease, was friendly and kept everything organized. The food as always was delicious. Everything was so good. The salads, the wings, the pizzas... everything I've come to love at Old town pizza. My absolute favorite pizza place hands down. Aside from the food being consistently delicious, the service here is excellent. The staff is amazing... from the host to the pick up counter. This was my birthday pick and not only was I beyond happy with the experience, so was everyone in my party. Some were new customers who raved about the food and some had never experienced your sit down service before. Everyone walked away full and happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. I just feel bad I waited so long to write this. I will continue to rave about OTP to anyone who will listen and I will be back again soon. Thank you OTP Roseville.”

It's kind of weird eating in the actual restaurant, but hardly anyone does anyway.

The real magic of Carolina's is the exceptional burritos ordered from your car in the drive-thru.

Their Al Pastor is great.
Their 24 hours a day breakfast burritos are awesome.
Their beans are delicious.
And they are the only Mexican place in our whole area that knows how to actually do custom orders and get it right the first time.

Sometimes, when we are getting into town super late, driving down Douglas toward our house, we get a breakfast burrito here.

And the fact that they are only 200 feet away from Baker Ben's Donuts (another Roseville institution that's open day or night) makes this a double stop if it is past 1 AM and you don't wanna go home but you're really hungry!

“I went to the Duncan Donuts on Foothills blvd today to try the new hummus & avocado toast. First I thought they forgot to put the tomatoes on, so I went in to have it fixed. The young man I spoke with was very polite and went right away to fix it. While I was waiting I looked at the menu & realized that I had to ask for the tomatoes & that it cost more. They gave them to me without charge. The toast was delicious, especially the hummus toast. The tomatoes are definitely worth any additional price. I am very pleased with how well I was treated despite the mistake being mine.”

“This was the 1 and only time I've been to this specific Jack in the box and I ordered a sourdough Jack combo with large fries and a small drink because I've always liked the sourdough Jack sandwiches and I sat inside and got a couple extra refills so if you're ever gonna sit inside of a fast food place always get the smallest sized drink to save money and just get 1 or 2 refills while you're sitting there and make sure right before you leave your drink is full snd take it with you for your ride but I got large fries also which was good and the food was great and the service was fine and they had music playing which is cool but I just think it was kind of too expensive because almost 15 Bucks just for what I just mentioned to me Is a little bit too expensive and I don't know if that's due to inflation or Trumps unecessary tariffs or what but I definitely think fast food used to be affordable but now it's getting to be unaffordable so because of that I'm rating this Jack in the Box 4 stars out of 5!”

“It's Sushi has easily become one of my go-to AYCE sushi restaurants. The quality of their seafood is outstanding and far exceeds what you would come to expect of an AYCE establishment. The menu is quite extensive and has different options of cooked and raw sushi as well as multiple dishes from the kitchen. The location is quite small so if you're going with a big party I recommend calling ahead. The restaurant parking is quite small but is connected to a bigger shopping plaza so there is a lot of parking available. The menu is split into 3 tiers, menu A, B, and C, with three varying price points which is nice if you dont like raw sushi, you dont have to pay for the nigiri. The sushi itself really highlights the fish quality not so much the rice, the nigiri has a tiny ball of rice only so it's not as filling.”

“I've been to Salt & Straw twice now. 1st time in Downtown Disney & now in Roseville. I love the creative flavors they offer & the homemade goodness. You can try as many flavors as you like. Which is hard not to do since they have limited addition ice creams & crazy flavors. We went at 10pm at night & there was a line out the door. The service was quicker than I expected since it was so busy. The staff is very patient with everyone inquiring & tasting flavors. I highly recommend this place for a sweet treat.”

“Visited Khobkoon on a holiday Monday for lunch. The restaurant sits in a strip mall/shopping center next to an Indian food restaurant. There were only two other tables with customers when we arrived, but I don’t hold that against them… it was lunchtime on Memorial Day.

The restaurant is on the smaller side, but doesn’t lack in personality. Darker tones and decor do feel authentic. Was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I would suspect is the owner. He was very courteous and seated us right away.

We were given their lunch menu, which appears to restrict many options available on their dinner menu (viewed it online). No big deal, it is lunch after all.

After reviewing the menu, we ordered a garden salad, Pad See-Ew with chicken and Kai Pad Kee Mao with chicken. Both entries were asked to be made with spicy level.

The salad came quickly and we were pleasantly surprised at the size. The salad comes with your typical iceberg lettuce, carrots, some red onion, sliced fresh tomatoes and sliced cucumber. The dressing is a Thai peanut style dressing, which you could see bits of peanuts in. It was also topped with some sort of fried topping, not sure entirely what it was. All of the produce was crisp and clearly fresh. However, while everything else was nice and cold, the dressing was warm… and I don’t mean like room temperature warm. Quite frankly, it was not a pleasant combination on a salad. The dressing itself tasted fine, but we felt it was muted a bit. Didn’t have that usual Thai peanut dressing tang to it. Nonetheless, it was fine.

The entries arrived at the same time (which isn’t always the case at Thai restaurants, so kudos). Our immediate reaction was… wow, this actually has some good spice to it. Far too often when I ask for spicy, I would get something that barely passes for black pepper spice. This was a refreshing change, actually spicy.

The Pad See Ew was good, the noodles cooked well (but I have to call out found several chunks that were stuck together), the vegetables and chicken were also cooked well, the flavor was good, but I would again argue a bit muted. The Kai Pad Kee Mao was really good, the rice was cooked perfectly and you could still get that fragrant jasmine rice flavor. Once again, the spice level was on point. My biggest wish here was just more vegetables.

While I have some critiques on the food, the service was 100%. We were warmly greeted, had fun conversation with the owner, the atmosphere is pleasant, and overall just a good experience.

The sauce is amazing BB burger - good size for the price. Could use more fries. I think something like raw cucumber and tomato would make more sense Milk teas - there is a lot to be desired for taste and texture. Both the matcha and taro were bland and watery. “On, Friday, January 24th we came in as a large party (9 adults, and 10 children) with no reservation for a poorly planned birthday celebration. We came in around 4:30, and were told they didn't have the space to accommodate us right then, BUT they would have their large room available in an hour when the waitress running the room started her shift. I know we were so lucky it was available but I just appreciated so much being accommodated considering our poor planning. In the future we will be sure to make a reservation well in advance. We managed to kill an hour, and when we got back and seated in the large room, we realized quickly it was worth the wait. It's a large room with a door, that we had primarily to ourselves the entire time. Our amazing waitress got an order in quickly for breadsticks (which were so delicious) to keep the hungry kids settled. Which was very appreciated. She was just so patient and kind with our chaotic group. She seemed at ease, was friendly and kept everything organized. The food as always was delicious. Everything was so good. The salads, the wings, the pizzas... everything I've come to love at Old town pizza. My absolute favorite pizza place hands down. Aside from the food being consistently delicious, the service here is excellent. The staff is amazing... from the host to the pick up counter. This was my birthday pick and not only was I beyond happy with the experience, so was everyone in my party. Some were new customers who raved about the food and some had never experienced your sit down service before. Everyone walked away full and happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. Cookies are getting more expensive but the quality seems to be the same, if not a bit less satisfying as the only cookie that I always recommend is the original chocolate chip one as it’s tried and true. They have different flavors often and are innovative but most of the time it’s doing too much so I am now sticking to the original only. Would definitely recommend this place but not too often as the calories definitely add up while your wallet is the only thing getting skinnier.”
