Ordered the savory spice chicken, was pleasantly surprised to discover it was a soup of sorts. Tender chicken, yummy broth, and scallions finely sliced with care. “The family and I enjoyed our trip in today! The pizzas, Caesar salad, and meatball sandwich were delicious. My husband also enjoyed a loaded smoothie. The chai was ok but I wouldn’t get it again. Love the atmosphere though! Very cute space with outdoor dining. We’ll be back!”

“Very cozy and comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. You feel like it's home. The food was mouth-watering, with a variety of flavors, you are able to taste each spice. We tried the lamb (Yassa) and snapper. Lamb was rich, savory, and warm. The snapper was cooked to perfection...flaky, with a crisp on the outside, and seasoned to perfection. All side dishes paired well and the Fritters (appetizer) was also amazing. Be sure to try the fresh juices. We tried pineapple/ginger and passion fruit. Mm mm mmmm!”

“Simply perfection! The oyster selection is otherworldly. The chargrilled oysters the best Ive had in my life. (Florida born an culinary chef.) The peel & eat shrimp so plump and served ice cold I have craved them since I had them. The service was above and beyond. The atmosphere encouraged private chatter but also conversation with next table easily. Friendly and cheerful and above all excellent food served with smiles, suggestions, and ease. I will never visit Charleston again without making sure to dine here. (Do not eat the soup. I actually sent it back to the kitchen. Never have I had to do that. ) Highly recommend again and again for everything else.”

“We went for lunch, there were so many great choices! We had the Pimento Cheese for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. My friend and I shared the Chicken Tenders and Classic Vegetarian plate full of great southern veggies. Delish! The atmosphere was inviting and the service was great. Definitely highly recommend!”

“literally everything we had here tonight was fantastic. the calamari strips are some of the best calamari I have ever had. the drinks were wonderful. I had this seard fish with the succotash which was so good. my boyfriend had the pot roast melt and loved it. the owner was absolutely fantastic. we will definitely be back repeatedly!”
