“Tracy did such a good job taking care of our large family. 16 of us total and the service was incredible and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Tracy!❤️”
“An Unforgettable Anniversary at Michael Anthony's A True Food Lover’s Paradise For our wedding anniversary, we wanted something special, and Michael Anthony’s delivered on EVERY level. As Hilton Head’s premier Italian fine dining destination, they excel not only in impeccable service and warm hospitality but also in creating a culinary experience that any true Epicure would appreciate. From the moment we sat down, our server, Eleanor, made the evening even more remarkable. Her knowledge of each dish was extraordinary, and her attentiveness to every detail ensured that we were taken care of without ever feeling rushed. It’s rare to encounter such dedication to making sure every aspect of the meal is perfect, and Eleanor truly enhanced our experience. The evening began with a bottle of 2021 Tenuta Di Arceno Chianti Classico—a stunning wine with aromas of cherries, and strawberries. Its elegant balance made it the perfect companion to the meal, enhancing each bite without overshadowing the vibrant flavors on our plates. My A5 Wagyu ribeye was simply divine, cooked to perfection with a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that only Wagyu can deliver. It was a symphony of rich flavors, each bite more indulgent than the last. My wife’s Ravioli di Vitello al Tartufo Nero was outstanding. A harmonious blend of House made veal ravioli topped & black truffle sauce. Both dishes epitomized the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. One of the true standouts of the night was the Raviolo al’Uovo con confit d’Anatra. This dish was a revelation! An unexpected, yet beautifully balanced combination of flavors that demonstrated both creativity and precision. The delicate pasta, rich duck confit, and perfectly runny egg yolk created a dish that was not only visually stunning but an absolute pleasure to eat. Another unexpected delight was the Insalata d’Anatra con Albicocca e Burrata. A light and refreshing salad featuring succulent duck, sweet apricots, and creamy burrata. It was the perfect prelude to the main courses, showcasing a masterful understanding of balance and texture. Venturing into new territory, I tried the Polpo alla Griglia, my first experience with octopus. Grilled to perfection, the octopus had a surprisingly tender, almost steak-like quality that was enhanced by a smoky char. It was a revelation for me both unfamiliar and yet incredibly satisfying. For starters, we couldn’t resist the Peach and Plum Salad with Scallops. The sweet, ripe fruit paired beautifully with the perfectly seared scallops, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to sourcing only the finest seasonal ingredients. Every bite was vibrant, fresh, and utterly delicious. As if that weren’t enough, the desert menu demanded our attention. The Tiramisu was nothing short of perfection!espresso and rum-soaked ladyfingers layered with a light mascarpone mousse and topped with a dusting of cocoa and caramel drizzle. Hands down, the best Tiramisu I’ve ever tasted. The Sformata di Cioccolata con Gelato Vanilla Rich, molten-centered chocolate cake served with creamy vanilla gelato was a chocolate lover’s dream. The baked peach stuffed with oats and pine nuts was another winner. It was refreshing, light, and oh so exciting to my tongue. It had a similar presentation to a small coffee cake, but packed a flavorful punch of peach cobbler. Finally, the Affogato, a dessert that was new to me but instantly became a favorite. Vanilla gelato drenched in rich espresso, chocolate sauce, Kahlua, and whipped cream. It was an indulgent, yet perfectly balanced way to finish the evening. Michael Anthony’s isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. From the perfectly executed dishes to Eleanor’s exceptional service, every detail is designed to make you feel pampered. For anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine with a creative twist, Michael Anthony’s is simply a must. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to treat yourself to an unforgettable dining experience, Michael Anthony’s will not disappoint! We are planning our next trip already”
“Outstanding! We stopped today for lunch while shopping and were greeted by a lovely lady at the front station. We were immediately seated and served the best meal that we have had since arriving on the island. I ordered the meatball appetizer and lunch portion of rigatoni with vodka sauce and the hubs ordered the calamari appetizer and ravioli with bolognese sauce. The portions were huge, the ingredients were fresh, and everything was absolutely delicious! Prices are reasonable, atmosphere was very pleasant...will absolutely return each time we visit HHI.”
“We’ve been coming to Hilton Head for years and decided to try Fraser’s for the first time. Honestly I was surprised how much we all loved the food. I expected a golf course restaurant to be more of a pub food menu but even the shrimp and fish we ordered was amazing. Awesome, casual atmosphere with great views if you sit outside.”

“We came to crazy crab and was lucky enough to have Susan as our waitress. Susan is the greatest waitress I’ve had at any restaurant ever. She makes sure we get our food in a reasonable time and we don’t stay thirsty. I would give susan a 100/10 on service and I think she needs a raise.”
“This was our second time coming to Coast! What a hidden gem this place is. We love the Jerk Chicken & The blackened Redfish. The food reminds us of back home. Cristina was super attentive and personable from the time we were seated, she immediately brought waters to time we left. We will definitely be back!”
“Horrible manager on 10/13/2022! He ruined my daughter's 5 year anniversary dinner. They were in from out of state to attend a golf tournament and celebrate their anniversary. When it came time for payment the manager came over and told them they don't accept Discover and was really rude and belittled them for not having any other type of payment with them. There are no signs posted that they don't take Discover. The manager said what do you want us to do, sit everyone down beforehand and tell them we don't take Discover. A sign should have been posted. Every other establishment they visited in Hilton Head took Discover. The manager could have been nice about it while they secured another form of payment instead of belittling them in front of everyone. Their waiter was amazing though. Seems they need to promote the waiter as the new manager.”

“Unbelievable hidden gem in Bluffton, SC. Impeccable appointments throughout the inn. Decor and artwork are spot on. Incredibly available and friendly staff who seem proud to be a part of this property. Great beds, perfect water pressure in shower and a perfectly stocked snack pantry of homemade goodies ranging from sweet to savory. If you enjoy fabulous dining, great shops and fabulous art galleries- well this location cannot be beat. Shout out to Katie and Bonnie who made us feel completely at home in their southern hospitality.
Rooms: Plush, elegant, comfy and incredibly appointed.
Walkability: Super convenient walking distance to all the magic downtown Bluffton has to offer.”
“Food is great! My husband and I visit every time we are at HHI. Their clams strips are the best we have EVER had. The hush puppies are delicious as well. This visit I tried their crab cake from the waiters suggestion. It was this "Marylander" approved! Thanks Rich for the recommendation and great service! See you on the next visit.”

“12/10. Came to Zunzibar in Hilton Head Island on a Monday evening and was immediately so happy we did. There was incredible live music (that had the perfect volume - I we were sitting closest to him and never felt like we were yelling to talk or that it was overwhelming), the drinks were amazing, and the service was top notch. If you want somewhere that has great drinks, a laid-back atmosphere, and Instagram-worthy decor, definitely check them out! We will absolutely be back.”

“We just ordered from pomodori too for the first time. I placed the order online. Got a call instantly to go over any allergy concerns as I ordered GF pasta. Great caring service! The food was ready in minutes! Meat lasagna and kids chicken Parmesan with veggies and kids GF penne and meatball. Great service excellent food. Love the fresh baked bread. Large portions also! Even our new puppy loved the chicken Parm and veg! She loves fresh healthy ingredients! Blondie approves! 5 stars! Can’t wait to order from this local restaurant again!”
“Had a great meal a Catch 22 on Thursday 2/15/24. Food was delicious and our server, Derick, was the best.”
“The food was fantastic. I had the broiled and blackened seafood platter. Very good. The cheese grits were also very good.”
Takeout Restaurants
“We always make sure to eat at the Sea Shack when visiting HHI—best grouper on the island! Got takeout last week, got home and realized we didn’t get our ordered desserts. Not a big deal, called for a refund. Instead, manager brought the key lime pies we ordered and added a banana pudding! Awesome customer service!”
“I ordered a GF German Chocolate Birthday cake for my Sweetheart. It was Sooo Delicious!!! I couldn't tell it was gluten free, the taste and texture were exceptional! Thank you, G-Free Spot, for making great GF food options for the Lowcountry. See you again very soon. : )”
“We visited Hilton Head/Bluffton/Beaufort area for a few days from New York City and had a list of places to go. Unfortunately we didn’t make it to all but we did stop by Red Stripes and babyyyy, we were glad we did!! The food was absolutely delicious and totally unexpected. Jamaican cuisine is not something every one can do, native or not, but the owner and the chefs at the Bluffton location exactly what they’re doing. The food, drinks, and service was impeccable. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!”
“Ms.Orchid brought my salad out personally and graciously allowed my daughters to take a photo with her. She was beyond wonderful. The food came out and was hot and delicious. We loved the cornbread stuffing! Definitely recommend!”
“The food at Chez George was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had. The layers of flavor were out of this world. The chef clearly knows his way around food and I can’t speak anything negative about it. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Husband found this little gem tucked away in a little corner. Arrive early if you would like a seat. Their gyros, spanakopita, chicken kabob and salads are excellent! However, their baklava is a PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH! The only thing that rivals their food is their hospitality. ❤️ This is the best place on the island for authentic Mediterranean! You’re welcome in advance!”
“This is by far the best coffee/pastry place we have found. The sea turtle mocha iced coffee is favorite, just the right amount of sweet. It is usually a bit busy, but totally worth it. The owners are very sweet and friendly. I love the pastries as well, all fresh every day and also just the right amount of sweet. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing too. There is something here for everyone I think. Highly reccomend !”
“If you want the most tasty real ice cream with creative as well as traditional flavors that cannot be beat, visit the Cinnamon Bear Country Store in the Sea Pines neighborhood of Hilton Head! The service and the ice cream is amazing and they are locally owned, no chain ice cream here!! Am Yisroel Chai and Enjoy!!”
“Look the food is great. The wait staff is spread a little thin, but that seems to be everywhere right now. As such you wait a bit longer than you should both to be waited on and for delivery of drinks, checking on etc... But the location is unbeatable, they have live music and the food is great. My Mom had a burger and came back the next day for another. I almost always have the blackened Mahi sandwich, which is always good, but today I had the Jerk Chicken Mango salad. The dressing was bright, the greens were fresh and the salad was probably one of the best I have had in quite some time. Given that I have always thought of the place as a sandwich and beer kinda joint, that is really saying something. Will never hesitate to eat here... and beats the PANTS off the adjacent crazy crab!”
“Capri is a newer spot in the island and you don’t want to miss it. From the minute you arrive and are welcomed by Michelle, the service throughout the evening was great. Chef has prepared an excellent menu, lots of variety and authentic Italian. This is definitely someplace you could eat at every week.”
“Waitress was absolutely awesome. I had the Blackened fish tacos, and they were awesome.”

“Drinks were good, music great. However. we ordered chili fries for $10.95 and asked for the chili on the side. we got the fries with chili in a small cup. But when we got the bill we were charged full price AND $1.00 extra for chili on the side. WTH. We didn't get extra chili!!!!! One dollar is not a big deal, overcharging is!!!!”
“Wow!!! Not only was the food was great, but the experience was one that made memories. All was made fresh before our eyes. I recommend the Philly Steak & my granddaughter was so l all over the home-fries. It not everyday a visitor finds many places like Harold's. Glad we did!”
“We ate a delicious hibachi lunch here today. The owner was very friendly. The place was spotless. Very reasonable prices for lunch! Two hibachi lunches totaled $22. We're going back tomorrow for lunch. Perfect place to go while you're at the beach! Great food, ambiance, cleanliness and a friendly owner!”
“Gringo’s was atop the Yelp! reviews for top breakfast places and they didn’t disappoint! A small diner nestled in the end of a shopping center with some outdoor seating, they’re cooking within steps in front of you mostly on a flat top grill. Fresh coffee served in their own ceramic coffee mugs complimented our breakfast quesadilla, “the beach” breakfast, and three fluffy pancakes topped with Nutella, whipped cream, and powdered sugar hit the spot and started our morning right! Staff was friendly and service was quick! Thanks for the chow!”
“San Miguel's restaurant in Shelter Cove Marina, Hilton Head Island, SC is AWESOME!! I go there several times when I am there for vacation. Be sure to visit Brock and Kim at the outside bar!! They are phenomenal and you will enjoy their service and conversation....very friendly, courteous, and professional!!! I love it at San Miguel's!!!”
“I got the mahi mahi basket, grilled, and steamed vegetables. Everything was excellent and the price was reasonable. I asked for no salt on the fish, it was perfect. The owner is so calm and nice! Highly recommend this food venue! Going back for ox tail and shrimp. Thank you so much for good food and a good experience!”

“We dined at this restaurant last evening arriving around 5:15 and seated right away. Our server, Hart was awesome and our orders were accurate and he went out of his way to accommodate our requests. The atmosphere was nice but started to get really noisy upon our departure. The hush puppies were delicious and our Bloody Mary was exceptional but the rest of our food was mediocre. I will say my scallops were sweet and tender. Everyone else in our party said their dinners were just ok.”
“We come here often because we live close by and, after several months of trying various restaurants, we’re convinced that this is our favorite. The food and the service is always good and the place feels welcoming and relaxing. Every server and bartender is friendly and we always feel right at home.”
“Perfect place for some out-of-towners to watch play-off baseball! Lots of TVs, pool tables, and seating options. Definitely has that local ‘dive bar’ feeling but the food was excellent (best patty melt I’ve had in a long time) and service was also great. Thumbs up!”
“Wanted to give a 5 star rating to waiter Sarthak , SAM. His service was fantastic. I ordered a chicken sandwich plain , with no seasoning. It was made as I asked and was delicious. He has a great personality and gives excellent service.. Made our dining experience great.”
“My wife and I had dinner there on Saturday evening We were seated immediately with no wait which was great. We ordered the Texas fajitas with a side of freshly prepared guacamole along with 2 margaritas. Both the food and drinks were excellent. Our server checked on us several times throughout our meal to make sure we didn’t need anything else. Great food and great experience.”

“We've come every time for the last three years. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is great. We like to watch the wildlife on the river while eating. This year we marked service a 4/5 because our waiter liked to watch his TV show or action movie very loudly in between table services. Otherwise, we will always come back.”
“The food was very tasty. Steak and other meats well seasoned and tender. Hot and cold food bar was very good as well. Go for the early bird special if offered. Our server Monica was very attentive during the meal, filling our drink glasses. However, when it came time to pay there was an issue. She brought the bill and suggested I use my phone and pay by QR code. I dont hsve a payment system or credit card set up on my phone, so rather than sit there and have to set it up, I simply chose to pay by credit card. When she returned and I handed her the card, she said condescendingly "well ok then" and went to run the card. When she returned, I jokingly said " im sorry but im a dinosaur, I dont use my phone to make payments" and now she said "whatever, it just SUCKS cause we are using a new payment system so it would have been better if you used the QR code". Really? Unacceptable. Other than that..it was a very good meal .”

“Kari was an absolutely fabulous server and made this dining experience a beyond memorable one. She is incredible! She is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Overall amazing service and food!”
