“An Unforgettable Anniversary at Michael Anthony's A True Food Lover’s Paradise For our wedding anniversary, we wanted something special, and Michael Anthony’s delivered on EVERY level. As Hilton Head’s premier Italian fine dining destination, they excel not only in impeccable service and warm hospitality but also in creating a culinary experience that any true Epicure would appreciate. From the moment we sat down, our server, Eleanor, made the evening even more remarkable. Her knowledge of each dish was extraordinary, and her attentiveness to every detail ensured that we were taken care of without ever feeling rushed. It’s rare to encounter such dedication to making sure every aspect of the meal is perfect, and Eleanor truly enhanced our experience. The evening began with a bottle of 2021 Tenuta Di Arceno Chianti Classico—a stunning wine with aromas of cherries, and strawberries. Its elegant balance made it the perfect companion to the meal, enhancing each bite without overshadowing the vibrant flavors on our plates. My A5 Wagyu ribeye was simply divine, cooked to perfection with a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that only Wagyu can deliver. It was a symphony of rich flavors, each bite more indulgent than the last. My wife’s Ravioli di Vitello al Tartufo Nero was outstanding. A harmonious blend of House made veal ravioli topped & black truffle sauce. Both dishes epitomized the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. One of the true standouts of the night was the Raviolo al’Uovo con confit d’Anatra. This dish was a revelation! An unexpected, yet beautifully balanced combination of flavors that demonstrated both creativity and precision. The delicate pasta, rich duck confit, and perfectly runny egg yolk created a dish that was not only visually stunning but an absolute pleasure to eat. Another unexpected delight was the Insalata d’Anatra con Albicocca e Burrata. A light and refreshing salad featuring succulent duck, sweet apricots, and creamy burrata. It was the perfect prelude to the main courses, showcasing a masterful understanding of balance and texture. Venturing into new territory, I tried the Polpo alla Griglia, my first experience with octopus. Grilled to perfection, the octopus had a surprisingly tender, almost steak-like quality that was enhanced by a smoky char. It was a revelation for me both unfamiliar and yet incredibly satisfying. For starters, we couldn’t resist the Peach and Plum Salad with Scallops. The sweet, ripe fruit paired beautifully with the perfectly seared scallops, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to sourcing only the finest seasonal ingredients. Every bite was vibrant, fresh, and utterly delicious. As if that weren’t enough, the desert menu demanded our attention. The Tiramisu was nothing short of perfection!espresso and rum-soaked ladyfingers layered with a light mascarpone mousse and topped with a dusting of cocoa and caramel drizzle. Hands down, the best Tiramisu I’ve ever tasted. The Sformata di Cioccolata con Gelato Vanilla Rich, molten-centered chocolate cake served with creamy vanilla gelato was a chocolate lover’s dream. The baked peach stuffed with oats and pine nuts was another winner. It was refreshing, light, and oh so exciting to my tongue. It had a similar presentation to a small coffee cake, but packed a flavorful punch of peach cobbler. Finally, the Affogato, a dessert that was new to me but instantly became a favorite. Vanilla gelato drenched in rich espresso, chocolate sauce, Kahlua, and whipped cream. It was an indulgent, yet perfectly balanced way to finish the evening. Michael Anthony’s isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. From the perfectly executed dishes to Eleanor’s exceptional service, every detail is designed to make you feel pampered. For anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine with a creative twist, Michael Anthony’s is simply a must. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to treat yourself to an unforgettable dining experience, Michael Anthony’s will not disappoint! We are planning our next trip already”
“First time visiting this place, after living in the vicinity for a couple of years. We celebrated our son’s 16th at Links and were pleasantly surprised. Tracy was our server, and was knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. The food was superb! We will be back as there are several entrees we would like to try out next.”
“Outstanding! We stopped today for lunch while shopping and were greeted by a lovely lady at the front station. We were immediately seated and served the best meal that we have had since arriving on the island. I ordered the meatball appetizer and lunch portion of rigatoni with vodka sauce and the hubs ordered the calamari appetizer and ravioli with bolognese sauce. The portions were huge, the ingredients were fresh, and everything was absolutely delicious! Prices are reasonable, atmosphere was very pleasant...will absolutely return each time we visit HHI.”
“We came to crazy crab and was lucky enough to have Susan as our waitress. Susan is the greatest waitress I’ve had at any restaurant ever. She makes sure we get our food in a reasonable time and we don’t stay thirsty. I would give susan a 100/10 on service and I think she needs a raise.”

“Loved the food Shelia was our waitress service was excellent food was amazing they get five stars had to wait for table was worth the waot”
“Horrible manager on 10/13/2022! He ruined my daughter's 5 year anniversary dinner. They were in from out of state to attend a golf tournament and celebrate their anniversary. When it came time for payment the manager came over and told them they don't accept Discover and was really rude and belittled them for not having any other type of payment with them. There are no signs posted that they don't take Discover. The manager said what do you want us to do, sit everyone down beforehand and tell them we don't take Discover. A sign should have been posted. Every other establishment they visited in Hilton Head took Discover. The manager could have been nice about it while they secured another form of payment instead of belittling them in front of everyone. Their waiter was amazing though. Seems they need to promote the waiter as the new manager.”

“We came here for my husband’s birthday dinner. Not only did they seat us way before our reservation, but the lovely host gave us a fabulous table after learning it was my hubby’s bday. The overall atmosphere was very family friendly, but upscale. The views and staff were spectacular, but the FOOD! DELICIOUS! We had the crab dip and chargrilled oysters to start. AMAZING! The fried saltines paired with the crab dip was a delicacy all on its own. For entrees, I had the surf and turf and my hubby had the redfish. I have never had a steak that tender and cooked to perfection. It was butter. The lobster was insanely good. Both my hubby’s and MIL’s fish were fresh and cooked perfectly. My FIL had the fried platter and loved it! His only complaint was the gumbo he had to start was too cold. They surprised my hubby with the most moist and delicious brownie sundae at the end. Overall, we couldn’t stop talking about this place long after our meal was over. We will definitely come again!”

“Unbelievable hidden gem in Bluffton, SC. Impeccable appointments throughout the inn. Decor and artwork are spot on. Incredibly available and friendly staff who seem proud to be a part of this property. Great beds, perfect water pressure in shower and a perfectly stocked snack pantry of homemade goodies ranging from sweet to savory. If you enjoy fabulous dining, great shops and fabulous art galleries- well this location cannot be beat. Shout out to Katie and Bonnie who made us feel completely at home in their southern hospitality.

Walkability: Super convenient walking distance to all the magic downtown Bluffton has to offer.”
“I tried the Fried Mac N Cheese burger and that thing almost wrecked me! So much food yet so delicious. My parents loved their food as well. Fries were great, probably a 4.6/5. Service was okay. Nice view onto golf courses; fantastic atmosphere.”

“We just ate at Fishcamp. The food was great. The Calimari and pickles were great. My mother-in-law got the stuffed flounder with asparagus and she said that the asparagus was great and she doesn't even like asparagus. My daughter got the peel and eat shrimp boil and she said it was great and took a huge to go box with her. Our server was great. We will be back perhaps before we go home.”
“My husband and I were there today and our server Katie was absolutely AMAZING!! She is a gem and the food was all perfect. Thank you Katie for making our lunch date so awesome 💜 we’ve always loved the original Zunzi’s downtown, but will now be going to Tybee for our fix!”

“We just ordered from pomodori too for the first time. I placed the order online. Got a call instantly to go over any allergy concerns as I ordered GF pasta. Great caring service! The food was ready in minutes! Meat lasagna and kids chicken Parmesan with veggies and kids GF penne and meatball. Great service excellent food. Love the fresh baked bread. Large portions also! Even our new puppy loved the chicken Parm and veg! She loves fresh healthy ingredients! Blondie approves! 5 stars! Can’t wait to order from this local restaurant again!”
“Food is great! My husband and I visit every time we are at HHI. Their clams strips are the best we have EVER had. The hush puppies are delicious as well. This visit I tried their crab cake from the waiters suggestion. It was this "Marylander" approved! Thanks Rich for the recommendation and great service! See you on the next visit.”
“as someone who lived and traveled extensively in the Mediterranean during my Navy days, finding this amazing gem in Blufton, SC has been incredible! Saganaki, grape leaves, gyros, tzatziki, baba ganoush, all absolutely delicious! Hands-down the BEST Mediterranean food I have had since my times in the Med. 10 stars!!”
“The food at Chez George was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had. The layers of flavor were out of this world. The chef clearly knows his way around food and I can’t speak anything negative about it. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend!”

“Want to give a shout out to this awesome little ice cream shop in Hilton Head with THE Best cones and (my fave) praline ice cream and other tasty treats. We stopped in yesterday leaving town and so glad we did. The sweetest young lady Anna who served us was such a delight. We will definitely be back in next time we are on the Island! Thank you!”
“We always make sure to eat at the Sea Shack when visiting HHI—best grouper on the island! Got takeout last week, got home and realized we didn’t get our ordered desserts. Not a big deal, called for a refund. Instead, manager brought the key lime pies we ordered and added a banana pudding! Awesome customer service!”
“I ordered a GF German Chocolate Birthday cake for my Sweetheart. It was Sooo Delicious!!! I couldn't tell it was gluten free, the taste and texture were exceptional! Thank you, G-Free Spot, for making great GF food options for the Lowcountry. See you again very soon. : )”
“We visited Hilton Head/Bluffton/Beaufort area for a few days from New York City and had a list of places to go. Unfortunately we didn’t make it to all but we did stop by Red Stripes and babyyyy, we were glad we did!! The food was absolutely delicious and totally unexpected. Jamaican cuisine is not something every one can do, native or not, but the owner and the chefs at the Bluffton location exactly what they’re doing. The food, drinks, and service was impeccable. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend!”
“Very nice venue tucked away on Hilton Head Island. I enjoyed the hallway walk with windows to see the brewing equipment. Great touch! Very friendly welcome as I walked into the tap room. They welcome you like you’re a regular and make suggestions according to the type of beer you enjoy most. Love the outdoor patio with fire pit for the cool evenings and fans blowing to help keep you cool in the heat! I would definitely put this brewery on your list of stops while in the Hilton Head area! Cheers!”
“What a great first experience at Frankie Bones! My hubby and daughter the famous rib eye. They are picky and the Robbie lived up io its name! They were impressed. The chicken Marsala was AMAZING!…next time you visit Hilton head .. make this a definitive stop!”
“Had a great meal a Catch 22 on Thursday 2/15/24. Food was delicious and our server, Derick, was the best.”

“Husband found this little gem tucked away in a little corner. Arrive early if you would like a seat. Their gyros, spanakopita, chicken kabob and salads are excellent! However, their baklava is a PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH! The only thing that rivals their food is their hospitality. ❤️ This is the best place on the island for authentic Mediterranean! You’re welcome in advance!”
“After moving to Hilton Head, we discovered Sweet Al's. We have been ever Saturday since we found this gem. Great coffee, pastries. and the nicest owners and baristas. My husband had never had Whoppie Pies (I couldn't imagine). I bought a Sweet Al made Whoopie Pie. His first Whoppie Pie will not be his last! Sweet Al's an amazing, local business.”
“I was looking for breakfast options via Doordash as I was in the area for a work retreat and didn't have time to run out in the mornings. I found this place. They had croissant donuts and I remember when I was younger these things went crazy viral on the internet, so I was immediately sold, lol. I bought that, a turkey avocado sandwich, a sugar mochi donut. Then the next day I bought the same stuff except instead of mochi donut I bought a king cream donut (Fruity cereal). The croissant donuts were absolutely delicious! They were filled with cream, flakey, and not too rich to be so full of cream. The citrus they put on top really adds another layer. The sandwich was good, but personally I'd want some flakey salt or black pepper on it. The sugar mochi donut was good too but it was really just a chewy donut with sugar so nothing to write home about but definitely hits the spot. The king cream donut was delicious, and again, the cream was light and sweet but not too rich. Highly recommend!”
“One of our favorite spots on HHI! We love it for the atmosphere and the food. Plan to spend your whole evening there. There will be a wait, so just plan on it! Grab a drink and some popcorn and just enjoy your night! And make sure to leave some room for ice cream afterwards”

“Drinks were good, music great. However. we ordered chili fries for $10.95 and asked for the chili on the side. we got the fries with chili in a small cup. But when we got the bill we were charged full price AND $1.00 extra for chili on the side. WTH. We didn't get extra chili!!!!! One dollar is not a big deal, overcharging is!!!!”
“We've been coming here for 12years! And NEVER get tired!! Their food is excellent. My favorite is THE "PECAN STICKY BUNS". And I have to have "Southern Pecan" coffee to start my day! Susie and Karen always have smile on their faces and make me feel very welcome.
I'll sure to come back again next year!”
“I got the mahi mahi basket, grilled, and steamed vegetables. Everything was excellent and the price was reasonable. I asked for no salt on the fish, it was perfect. The owner is so calm and nice! Highly recommend this food venue! Going back for ox tail and shrimp. Thank you so much for good food and a good experience!”
“A must visit. A very nice local brewery.
Indoor space is small but very friendly.
Outdoor space is mostly enclosed with heating. The owners are very accommodating and caring.
Food and beers are great. We were mostly vegetarians but had enough options for a good dinner. It’s an experience.
Also got a sticker 😀, here is pic with a camera trick.”
“We are on spring break. My children and I were not sure where to eat, as many restaurants seem to close earlier than we are used to. We walked around the marina. While enjoying ice cream, we heard the live music coming from San Miguel’s, which grabbed our attention. My 12 year old wanted to stay and listen, so I checked on getting a table. The host was friendly and quick about getting us an outdoor table. Our waitress was wonderful. She was friendly and helpful with the menu. She made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone; date night or family night.”
“We ate a delicious hibachi lunch here today. The owner was very friendly. The place was spotless. Very reasonable prices for lunch! Two hibachi lunches totaled $22. We're going back tomorrow for lunch. Perfect place to go while you're at the beach! Great food, ambiance, cleanliness and a friendly owner!”

“Great food. Got the pulled pork, mac and cheese, fries and chili. All of it was great. Normally a mustard sauce guy but their vinegar sauce was the best I’ve ever had. We had a group of 10 guys and everyone loved their food. Will 100% be back.”

“Wonderful!!! Absolutely Wonderful!! The food, the service, the atmosphere , the scenery. Skull Creek Boathouse has it all. The grilled lobster with corn on the cob and steamed red potatoes is the best.”

“Wow!!! Not only was the food was great, but the experience was one that made memories. All was made fresh before our eyes. I recommend the Philly Steak & my granddaughter was so l all over the home-fries. It not everyday a visitor finds many places like Harold's. Glad we did!”
“We dined at this restaurant last evening arriving around 5:15 and seated right away. Our server, Hart was awesome and our orders were accurate and he went out of his way to accommodate our requests. The atmosphere was nice but started to get really noisy upon our departure. The hush puppies were delicious and our Bloody Mary was exceptional but the rest of our food was mediocre. I will say my scallops were sweet and tender. Everyone else in our party said their dinners were just ok.”
“We come here often because we live close by and, after several months of trying various restaurants, we’re convinced that this is our favorite. The food and the service is always good and the place feels welcoming and relaxing. Every server and bartender is friendly and we always feel right at home.”
“Perfect place for some out-of-towners to watch play-off baseball! Lots of TVs, pool tables, and seating options. Definitely has that local ‘dive bar’ feeling but the food was excellent (best patty melt I’ve had in a long time) and service was also great. Thumbs up!”
“Wanted to give a 5 star rating to waiter Sarthak , SAM. His service was fantastic. I ordered a chicken sandwich plain , with no seasoning. It was made as I asked and was delicious. He has a great personality and gives excellent service.. Made our dining experience great.”

“One of our favorite spots on HHI! We love it for the atmosphere and the food. Plan to spend your whole evening there. There will be a wait, so just plan on it! Grab a drink and some popcorn and just enjoy your night! And make sure to leave some room for ice cream afterwards”
Thank you!”
“My wife and I recently dined at Red Fish and had a lovely experience. We appreciated the cozy and intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, which made for a romantic evening out. One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to choose a bottle from their impressive wine cellar, which had an extensive selection of wines from around the world. The food was delicious and satisfying. The chef clearly takes great care in creating each dish, using fresh and high-quality ingredients to bring out the best flavors. Throughout our meal, the service was attentive and friendly without feeling overbearing. We appreciated the attention to detail that went into every aspect of our dining experience, from the wine selection to the food presentation to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Overall, we highly recommend Red Fish to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a great meal and outstanding wine selection, Red Fish is definitely worth a visit.”
“The food was good, but we had a really weird experience at the beginning. My mother and I walked in and requested a table for two. The hostess says “do you have a reservation, we don’t take walk ins.” We didn’t have a reservation so we left. But I was so hungry after just getting off a plane that I didn’t want to search for a new place. I looked up Jane online and made a res for 1:00 (it was 12:49… and there were tons of available time slots). So we walked back in and told the same hostess we had a reservation. Then while we sat and waited 10 min for a table we listened to her tell other walk ins it was a 10 min wait. The whole thing was so strange. I think my salad was good, but definitely annoyed by the initial service (waitress super sweet though).”
“Excellent traditional pizza joint played U2 and all !”
