“Truly, some of the best food and drinks I have ever had, we weren't disappointed by a single thing we had here. The specialty salmon was INCREDIBLE, oysters were so fresh, and cocktails were delicious (and strong)!
The staff was incredible! Beautiful views all around the restaurant, they allow you to take drinks to-go in plastic cups, so get there early to grab a drink and walk around the property!”
“Made reservations thru Resy for relatively early dining at 5:30. Was disappointed that we were seated near the bar, far from the windows after requesting a table with a view in a relatively empty dining room.
Other than the initial disappointment, the meal was delicious and service was good. Hubby's Manhattan was well made and I had a very nice glass of Italian Sangiovese. Filets were cooked perfectly and had great flavor.”
“We went to Coast for our 30th anniversary dinner. We made reservations, which helped. We were greeted by the host team and seated immediately, which was wonderful. Yes, you have to pay $ 10 to get in, but the fee is deducted from your bill when you present your parking pass.
The service: We had Tom (Thomas), and he was amazing. Super kind, attentive, and quick to offer advice. He is the type of server you hope to get.
The food: The meal was on point.
The appetizer was wonderful, and we got the seafood michelada, which was wonderful. If we tweak anything, we recommend warming the tortilla chips. The seafood salsa was great cold, but would have been good warm as well. Good balance of salsa and seafood, the salsa was more upfront, but not in a way that would be disappointing.
The main dishes: I got the seasonal fish, plancha-style. It was a nice local fish filet with lemon butter and asparagus. Everything was cooked very well, no complaints at all. My bride got the filet with whipped potatoes and green beans. The steak was cooked perfectly and came with a sauce, but it could have used some seasoning, since my wife is less of a sauce person. The green beans were solid, and the potatoes were really good, and you could tell they were real potatoes, which is what you would expect. Also, the manager was attentive and came by to ask about our meal, and we noticed him doing that with other tables, which was nice.
The bar kicked out drinks efficiently and offered generous pours. We ended with their chocolate torte, and they customized it to highlight our anniversary. After dinner, we grabbed a drink and went out to view the ocean for a while. The outside area provided another bar with heaters and amazing staff, which was nice.
We've read other negative reviews, but this wasn't our experience. For the two of us, with appetizer, meal, dessert, and a few drinks, and a Peligrino was around 250 with tax and tip. We knew this would likely be the price point. We were not disappointed with the service, the food, and the view. Thus, the overall experience of the atmosphere, food, service, live music, and beachfront view was solid and worth it. We spent a week at Hilton Head and ate at several recommended restaurants. That said, this was by far the best meal we had. We would absolutely return.”
“Horrible manager on 10/13/2022! He ruined my daughter's 5 year anniversary dinner. They were in from out of state to attend a golf tournament and celebrate their anniversary. When it came time for payment the manager came over and told them they don't accept Discover and was really rude and belittled them for not having any other type of payment with them. There are no signs posted that they don't take Discover. The manager said what do you want us to do, sit everyone down beforehand and tell them we don't take Discover. A sign should have been posted. Every other establishment they visited in Hilton Head took Discover. The manager could have been nice about it while they secured another form of payment instead of belittling them in front of everyone. Their waiter was amazing though. Seems they need to promote the waiter as the new manager.”
“9/17/25 was our 2nd trip to Benny's and it did not disappoint either time. Our first trip was last fall when you had just opened & the rooftop was not completed yet. Me, my sister & my niece were delighted with our choices...grouper, seafood cannelloni , Brazilian fish stew...WOW!! But what we were most impressed with was our waiter, Ladrae' Foster, a young 20 year old man. He was lots of fun and very knowledgeable about the menu. We asked LOTS of questions about entrees and he always had the most detailed answer. Excellent service, too! We'll definitely be back!”

“We came to crazy crab and was lucky enough to have Susan as our waitress. Susan is the greatest waitress I’ve had at any restaurant ever. She makes sure we get our food in a reasonable time and we don’t stay thirsty. I would give susan a 100/10 on service and I think she needs a raise.”
“Loved the food and atmosphere! Beautiful view of the golf course! For being in busy season, we got our food and drinks quickly and had excellent service. Mahalia was our server and was very attentive and kind to us! She had us laughing when she got excited at my drink order (get the blood orange margarita 😜). Will for sure be back!”

“An Unforgettable Anniversary at Michael Anthony's A True Food Lover’s Paradise For our wedding anniversary, we wanted something special, and Michael Anthony’s delivered on EVERY level. As Hilton Head’s premier Italian fine dining destination, they excel not only in impeccable service and warm hospitality but also in creating a culinary experience that any true Epicure would appreciate. From the moment we sat down, our server, Eleanor, made the evening even more remarkable. Her knowledge of each dish was extraordinary, and her attentiveness to every detail ensured that we were taken care of without ever feeling rushed. It’s rare to encounter such dedication to making sure every aspect of the meal is perfect, and Eleanor truly enhanced our experience. The evening began with a bottle of 2021 Tenuta Di Arceno Chianti Classico—a stunning wine with aromas of cherries, and strawberries. Its elegant balance made it the perfect companion to the meal, enhancing each bite without overshadowing the vibrant flavors on our plates. My A5 Wagyu ribeye was simply divine, cooked to perfection with a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that only Wagyu can deliver. It was a symphony of rich flavors, each bite more indulgent than the last. My wife’s Ravioli di Vitello al Tartufo Nero was outstanding. A harmonious blend of House made veal ravioli topped & black truffle sauce. Both dishes epitomized the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. One of the true standouts of the night was the Raviolo al’Uovo con confit d’Anatra. This dish was a revelation! An unexpected, yet beautifully balanced combination of flavors that demonstrated both creativity and precision. The delicate pasta, rich duck confit, and perfectly runny egg yolk created a dish that was not only visually stunning but an absolute pleasure to eat. Another unexpected delight was the Insalata d’Anatra con Albicocca e Burrata. A light and refreshing salad featuring succulent duck, sweet apricots, and creamy burrata. It was the perfect prelude to the main courses, showcasing a masterful understanding of balance and texture. Venturing into new territory, I tried the Polpo alla Griglia, my first experience with octopus. Grilled to perfection, the octopus had a surprisingly tender, almost steak-like quality that was enhanced by a smoky char. It was a revelation for me both unfamiliar and yet incredibly satisfying. For starters, we couldn’t resist the Peach and Plum Salad with Scallops. The sweet, ripe fruit paired beautifully with the perfectly seared scallops, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to sourcing only the finest seasonal ingredients. Every bite was vibrant, fresh, and utterly delicious. As if that weren’t enough, the desert menu demanded our attention. The Tiramisu was nothing short of perfection!espresso and rum-soaked ladyfingers layered with a light mascarpone mousse and topped with a dusting of cocoa and caramel drizzle. Hands down, the best Tiramisu I’ve ever tasted. The Sformata di Cioccolata con Gelato Vanilla Rich, molten-centered chocolate cake served with creamy vanilla gelato was a chocolate lover’s dream. The baked peach stuffed with oats and pine nuts was another winner. It was refreshing, light, and oh so exciting to my tongue. It had a similar presentation to a small coffee cake, but packed a flavorful punch of peach cobbler. Finally, the Affogato, a dessert that was new to me but instantly became a favorite. Vanilla gelato drenched in rich espresso, chocolate sauce, Kahlua, and whipped cream. It was an indulgent, yet perfectly balanced way to finish the evening. Michael Anthony’s isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. From the perfectly executed dishes to Eleanor’s exceptional service, every detail is designed to make you feel pampered. For anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine with a creative twist, Michael Anthony’s is simply a must. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to treat yourself to an unforgettable dining experience, Michael Anthony’s will not disappoint! We are planning our next trip already”

“Outstanding! We stopped today for lunch while shopping and were greeted by a lovely lady at the front station. We were immediately seated and served the best meal that we have had since arriving on the island. I ordered the meatball appetizer and lunch portion of rigatoni with vodka sauce and the hubs ordered the calamari appetizer and ravioli with bolognese sauce. The portions were huge, the ingredients were fresh, and everything was absolutely delicious! Prices are reasonable, atmosphere was very pleasant...will absolutely return each time we visit HHI.”
“Food is great! My husband and I visit every time we are at HHI. Their clams strips are the best we have EVER had. The hush puppies are delicious as well. This visit I tried their crab cake from the waiters suggestion. It was this "Marylander" approved! Thanks Rich for the recommendation and great service! See you on the next visit.”
“We have been going to Alfred’s during our visits to HHI the past several years…our dinners this trip were just as great as our first visit! The service (Trent, Ian) is excellent; welcoming and friendly, great recommendations. The dinners are always delicious and perfectly prepared. We enjoy the seafood mornay appetizer, Gorgonzola salad, the beef filet (both grilled and au piovre), rack of lamb, beef Wellington; desserts are great too! We’ll be looking forward to coming back on our next visit.”

“We absolutely loved the house that we rented from Beachside getaway for Thanksgiving ! It was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space and the children especially loveed the pool and hot tub! The staff at Beachside getaway were wonderful to work with and so very nice. Our house was a perfect location great for biking to Harbourtown and everywhere else. I will definitely rent from Beachside getaway again.

“I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food. It was all beautiful. The food was spicy - just how I like it and just what I asked for when I ordered. This place had beautiful decor and a 5 star restaurant atmosphere. The waitstaff were all kind and helpful, very understanding about my shellfish allergy. If I could give it a 10/5 star review I would!”
“I got the mahi mahi basket, grilled, and steamed vegetables. Everything was excellent and the price was reasonable. I asked for no salt on the fish, it was perfect. The owner is so calm and nice! Highly recommend this food venue! Going back for ox tail and shrimp. Thank you so much for good food and a good experience!”
“If you want the most tasty real ice cream with creative as well as traditional flavors that cannot be beat, visit the Cinnamon Bear Country Store in the Sea Pines neighborhood of Hilton Head! The service and the ice cream is amazing and they are locally owned, no chain ice cream here!! Am Yisroel Chai and Enjoy!!”
“Great service and waitstaff! We had six of us and made sure we were taken care of 💖”
“Waitress was absolutely awesome. I had the Blackened fish tacos, and they were awesome.”

“Husband found this little gem tucked away in a little corner. Arrive early if you would like a seat. Their gyros, spanakopita, chicken kabob and salads are excellent! However, their baklava is a PARTY IN YOUR MOUTH! The only thing that rivals their food is their hospitality. ❤️ This is the best place on the island for authentic Mediterranean! You’re welcome in advance!”
“Incredible anniversary dinner for one vegan and one omnivore! The atmosphere was elevated and also very comfortable. Flavors and execution were incredible and we had a terrific experience. We plan to return!”

“Wow!!! Not only was the food was great, but the experience was one that made memories. All was made fresh before our eyes. I recommend the Philly Steak & my granddaughter was so l all over the home-fries. It not everyday a visitor finds many places like Harold's. Glad we did!”
“We had the opportunity to dine as dozens of restaurants on Hilton Head, and in our opinion, Stellini's was the best. The food is made fresh and was delicious and the portions were very generous at a reasonable price. The atmosphere was very inviting and the service was excellent. Our waiter Tony was very attentive and answered all of our questions. Great variety of food and the garlic bread was fantastic. The wildlife show was a nice added benefit. We highly recommend this great Italian restaurant.”
“San Miguel's restaurant in Shelter Cove Marina, Hilton Head Island, SC is AWESOME!! I go there several times when I am there for vacation. Be sure to visit Brock and Kim at the outside bar!! They are phenomenal and you will enjoy their service and conversation....very friendly, courteous, and professional!!! I love it at San Miguel's!!!”
“We dined at this restaurant last evening arriving around 5:15 and seated right away. Our server, Hart was awesome and our orders were accurate and he went out of his way to accommodate our requests. The atmosphere was nice but started to get really noisy upon our departure. The hush puppies were delicious and our Bloody Mary was exceptional but the rest of our food was mediocre. I will say my scallops were sweet and tender. Everyone else in our party said their dinners were just ok.”
“We come here often because we live close by and, after several months of trying various restaurants, we’re convinced that this is our favorite. The food and the service is always good and the place feels welcoming and relaxing. Every server and bartender is friendly and we always feel right at home.”
“Perfect place for some out-of-towners to watch play-off baseball! Lots of TVs, pool tables, and seating options. Definitely has that local ‘dive bar’ feeling but the food was excellent (best patty melt I’ve had in a long time) and service was also great. Thumbs up!”
“Wanted to give a 5 star rating to waiter Sarthak , SAM. His service was fantastic. I ordered a chicken sandwich plain , with no seasoning. It was made as I asked and was delicious. He has a great personality and gives excellent service.. Made our dining experience great.”
“My wife and I had dinner there on Saturday evening We were seated immediately with no wait which was great. We ordered the Texas fajitas with a side of freshly prepared guacamole along with 2 margaritas. Both the food and drinks were excellent. Our server checked on us several times throughout our meal to make sure we didn’t need anything else. Great food and great experience.”
“9/17/25 was our 2nd trip to Benny's and it did not disappoint either time. Our first trip was last fall when you had just opened & the rooftop was not completed yet. “NO BONES ABOUT IT, THE RIBS ARE OUTSTANDING -- my husband and I have eaten at Red Fish every time we've visited HHI in the last 15 plus years. To-date, I've always gone seafood: sea bass, grouper, salmon and scallops. Decided to mix it up and go for the rack of ribs (or should it read raaaaaaaack of ribs). It filled a very large oval dish. Despite the size, the ribs were perfectly cooked, moist, tender, fell right off the bone. The sides of slaw and blue cheese potato gratin were great too. Well done Red Fish, well done. PS -- took half the ribs home and ate them for lunch today.”
“The food was good, but we had a really weird experience at the beginning. My mother and I walked in and requested a table for two. The hostess says “do you have a reservation, we don’t take walk ins.” We didn’t have a reservation so we left. But I was so hungry after just getting off a plane that I didn’t want to search for a new place. I looked up Jane online and made a res for 1:00 (it was 12:49… and there were tons of available time slots). So we walked back in and told the same hostess we had a reservation. Then while we sat and waited 10 min for a table we listened to her tell other walk ins it was a 10 min wait. The whole thing was so strange. I think my salad was good, but definitely annoyed by the initial service (waitress super sweet though).”
“This was my first time at Black Marlin and it was truly outstanding! My best friend and I get mussels at restaurants all over town, and these are some of the best ones we've had so far in the Hilton Head and Bluffton area!! Bryce was our server and took such great care of us!! (Thank you Bryce for making us bread! 🥹) Overall a great experience and would highly recommend! Will be back for sure!”
“We have been coming to Hilton Head twice a year for 4 years. This is the first time we visited in the spring and the first time to Celeste Coastal Cuisine. We were absolutely pleased from the greeting as we entered and the great service from our waitress, Deidra. We even received complimentary champagne in honor of our 50th wedding anniversary! The ambience was superb- finally a place where you can hear each other speak and the dinner was delicious. We are due to return in June and it is definitely on our list of restaurants to visit. Thanks again for a wonderful dining experience!”
“We took our family to Chophouse 119 for my Father-in-Law's 80th birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The food was incredible. Best filet mignon I have had in quite a while (Pittsburgh style). All of the food came out perfect in timing and flavor. It is a bit pricey but have to say that the quality of food and more importantly the quality of service made it worth the price. Stanley, our server, was incredible. Prompt, friendly, funny, attentive...everything you'd want from a server.”

“Thank you Cactus Cantina for offering Riced Cilantro Cauliflower! So yummy in my veggie bowl. It’s so nice to be able to eat out and eat clean. I love your vibrant decor and your welcoming atmosphere. The Island has embraced you well. Wishing you continued success.”
“Unfreaking believable. If you’ve ever wondered if it’s worth it the answer is yes. BUT it’s important to know the flavors change every week so download the free app and go in a week when the flavors look really good to you. Another pro tip: get 6 minis and then go back and get more of the one(s) you like the most!”
“Stopped by the poolside spot at Sweet Cane Bar and Grille at the Sonesta Resort, and it’s exactly what you want in a vacation bar—laid-back and dangerously easy to settle into for a while.
The vibe is relaxed and easygoing, with plenty of spots to lounge by the pool or grab a quick bite between dips. It’s not trying to be fancy—and that’s the charm.”
“You rder from the table by scanning the QR code. They have great options for GF. We ordered the Southern Poppers (delicious 🙌), the Legendary Nachos w/o quest (yummy), Chicken Bites with Carolina Gold sauce (😋), and the mozzarella sticks. All were enjoyed between myself, my dad and daughter, and three grandbabies.”
